My dog has the dreaded black nails and even though she would barely be considered a medium sized dog they are about as thick as horse hooves! I don't like to cut them because I worry that I'll hurt her. I've taken her to at least 15 different groomers for nail trims. She is a very quiet and compliant dog but she yelps (the sound, not the act of leaving a review!), and more than 1/2 the time left with blood. The most response I got from those groomers was "she's a drama queen", which is hilarious if you knew her disposition. These ladies trim her nails with nary a yip and are just as concerned as I am about hurting her. I appreciate that. Even though Yoda hates having her nails trimmed, she gets so excited when these ladies arrived and can't wait to get a nail trim and cuddle from them!

In this time, Lindsay and Nick have cared for our home and pets (two hounds, two kittens) multiple times. This has ranged from just an afternoon walk to a single overnight to a whole week while we were in Florida. Leaving your pets is never easy, but there are times when you just can't take them with you. Lindsay came with impressive references, but the first time ...of course we were stressed out. We had never left our cats and dogs with anyone, not even for an hour. And here we were, going to Florida for a whole week. Lindsay , Nick, and Madi came over the night before ...we met and immediately fell in love with them. Equally importantly, our pets fell in love with them. Our kittens, who hide from any stranger - human or animal - for hours, started circling Madi and letting her head bump them! Throughout our trip, Lindsay sent us pictures, videos, and even a super-cute montage of our pets playing with Madi. She texted us throughout the day and kept us informed of what was going on. Honestly, it was as good as being there. Since that time, Lindsay, Nick, and Madi are regular visitors to our house. I really think our dogs actually behave a little better with Lindsey than they do with us! Plus Madi's influence is very calming. We weren't too sure how our super-territorial kittens would take Madi. But Lindsay told us that Madi is the ultimate cat whisperer. When Lindsay was fostering some orphaned kittens, Madi played Mommy to them. Sure enough, our kittens never once felt threatened by Madi. Sure, you can board your pets. But you leaving is hard enough on them, without the added stress of going to a new place. If you can keep them in their home, with someone caring for them like you would.....why not, right? I could go on and on about Lindsay. All I can say is that when you leave your pets and home in someone's care.... you want to know that you can trust them. That they will treat your pets and home like their own. And this is what Lindsay has always done. If you're looking for a pet/house sitter you can trust, who will be responsive, punctual, loving and caring .... Lindsay is your girl! :)

Our puppy sustained a very bad dog bite injury during the 2-day…read moreboarding (12/31/2021 - 1/2/2022) that required immediate vet attention and when we picked up our puppy, Michael did not say anything about this. We noticed the wound once we were driving home (our puppy was licking his leg wound) and my wife texted him a picture and his response was "he was playing pretty rough with snowman". Michael did not respond to my wife's second text message and when I texted to ask when this occurred his response was sarcastic, stated he did not know anything and instead sent me a long text with the contract stating "he is not responsible of any injuries" Our puppy came home that day scared, with diarrhea and hasn't been himself since this experience. Our puppy is now being treated and vet may be performing a surgery on his right leg. The way Michael handled this situation demonstrates a lack of care for our puppy Rocky and would not recommend this place.

She is reliable, caring and knowledgeable. She works to accommodate my schedule and shows up when she says she will. She gives me updates by text of how my pugs did on their walk and alerts me if she has any concerns about their health. She was also aware on our first meeting that pugs can overheat easily (due to their short noses) and made it a point to say that she would be careful with them on hot days. She came over before I ever used her services for a meet and greet to understand my needs and to meet my pugs. I believe she is expanding her services also to Huntington Beach soon. I definitely recommend her if you need pet care!
