I've used just about every petsitting service that serves south Orange County and this is by far the best. Even the contract and questionnaire are above-board, which is not extremely common for such services. There was attention to detail and follow-through at every stage of the experience. I have three cats with wildly differing needs and personalities. Each one has a different special diet, one loves human contact, one loves to play, and one hates being petted and growls if she is dissatisfied. They are not easy clients. But Kathleen took care of each one separately and sent regular updates. Even the pictures of the cats that she sent were exceptional! She notified me when one cat had ear problems (sure enough, when we took her to the vet Kathleen was correct) and was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. She even made a fort for them out of their cat food boxes! The cats love it so much that we still can't bring ourselves to take all of it down. We were gone for two weeks and when we got back, the cats planted themselves in the middle of their cat fort with their toys and waited for us to play with them like Kathleen did. For all of this, Kathleen charges an exceptionally fair price. She is one of if not the least expensive as well as being the most engaged, fastidious, and overall best. read more

This is really great because it allows the dog to become familiar with her and for her to see the dogs' personality. It also provides a great time to discuss behavioral and personality traits so she isn't surprised by them later ("Yes, it is normal for my dog to run hot laps around the house!"). She is able to walk any type of dog - big or small! Kathleen is so, so easy to get a hold of and always responds to my husband and/or my list minute requests promptly.
