Lucky is the best! I live in Hicksville and I had been hopping around, looking for a new Barber for a long time, trying spots in Westbury, Island Park and as far away as Huntington. Okay so I have been going to my own salon in Levittown for last 17 years. The first time I tried Lucky Salon was because he's open till 10-11pm. I work in city and reach home by 8 pm and Lucky is the only one who's open that late. His demeanor is excellent. Once you step in, he is going to make you feel so warm and welcomed. And then his service is unbelivably super. You tell him what you want and he will do that better than you expected. Plus he provided me a couple of things complimentary on my first visit ...like waxing my hair. Etc. I have started going to this place and recommend everyone to try it at least once. Decided to try a new place as I needed a haircut quickly before leaving on vacation. Easy to find place was clean. I got seated fairly quickly and was asked what I wanted, Barber said okay. Seemed he was in a rush as another client of his came in and sat in the next barber chair as opposed to the waiting area... the barber kept looking at the other client and actually cut my hair a few times while looking somewhere else! Asked to shorten sideburns he said not a good idea. Asked to shorten the top he said shorter is not good.. either way I'm easy going but was kind of taken back that he wouldn't just do as I requested maybe cause he was in rush to see his friend/client. Haircut took about 8-10 minutes not bad but taper not great. It's okay place place but wouldn't recommend. read more

The worst beard trim ever. Don't let them touch your beard. They don't understand what the word trim means. They will make you a clown if you let them touch your beard. If I show you my before and after pictures you will know what I am talking about. PLEASE DON'T go there. AND definitely don't try their hair loss treatment which is absolutely bogus. IF you can't avoid going there then only go there for a hair-cut when you are in dire need and only if all other barbers have died. read more

Lucky is great guy. Does a good job and he's quick. I normally don't have to wait to long. There's also a parking in the back as well as on the street which is a help. Close to grocery and other stores so can stop by while running errands. I highly recommend this salon. read more
