Good location and quick stop for gas or snacks on the way to Houston or Dallas. They also have a motel if you need a quick night stay.

What a friggin JOKE!!!…read more Everything in the place is ridiculously OVERPRICED!! If you stop here or shop here versus the other stores in Italy, you're an idiot!! I bought a CORE bottle of water that was $2.19 at QT, and these douche bags were $3.99 on the exact same oz and bottle. THEY SUCK!!!

I'm so glad I came here, because now I know the next time I really need gas, or a bathroom break,…read moreI'll just go to Love's across the highway instead. I also realized that gas is about 10-12 cents cheaper in Waco, so if you're heading south (or even north) - get your gas there and just skip this place. This ain't nothing close to Italy. The customer service is so bad here - you don't want to spend any money. You just want to leave. I was thirsty and roamed the coolers for a drink but after the horrid customer service up front - I decided not to give them anymore money. It could be better used elsewhere. On this visit, a Saturday evening, they were lackadaisical, disorganized and inefficient. They had 4 people up at the counter, 1 of which did not seem to not work there and was just hanging out. He was fine - no bother there. But I bought some lotto, she set the tickets down next to her on the counter (out of my reach), I paid, then she walked just away. Making me over reach for the tickets at the edge of the counter. There seems to be no common courtesy or respect for the customer here. A severe lack of professionalism. I will never ever come back, there is nothing here worth a stop - although if you're craving Taco Bell it's across the street. There's a Chinese Rice place too but their reviews are suspect. As I mentioned - next time I'll just stop at Love's across the highway if I need to, but Stuckey's is now on my radar so I'll make sure I make all my stops in Waco if need be when I'm traveling through.

New rock and brick on the old gas station. Looks much better than it did years ago.

I bought a sandwich and some water and got out of there. I will never return. In fairness to them, the place was surprisingly clean, well organized, seemed well managed. The staff seemed nice enough - just working hard to ring up all the people buying their tchotchkes.

I walked in planning to spend maybe 20 minutes max just to buy a few souvenirs, snacks, and a few things to take home to my kids and family. Shortly after I walked in, I was approached and told I wasn't allowed to be there because I came in a semi truck. I explained that I was only going to be inside for a few minutes to buy a few items, but I was told they would not allow me to purchase anything. I was also told, "Unfortunately truckers are not welcome." Those were his exact words. That was extremely disappointing to hear. Truck drivers are a huge part of what keeps this country moving. We deliver the products businesses sell every single day, including the products sitting on Buc-ee's shelves. To be told we're not welcome and not even allowed to make a purchase is sad and frustrating. Because of this experience, I will never return to Buc-ee's again, not even in my personal vehicle. I'd much rather spend my money at a truck stop or any business that welcomes everyone and appreciates the people who help keep America moving.

My 4Runner holds 23 gallons. I talked to the manger about it. He looks at the surveillance video and sees someone remove the pump nozzle from my suv and begin pumping in their truck. He says this happened last week too. Same store different pump number. So I ask for help. Can you give me a credit. His response, "no because it's your fault." "You shouldn't have left the pump". "W cannot take a loss just because you left the pump to come in here." Obviously this is a known issue at this store and the manger chose not to help the customer. The milkshakes & smoothies were a prepackaged brand with lots of selection. Sounded good but I can't have lactose or would've tried. You can pay for gas at the pumps (I assume you can everywhere now?). There is a Wendy's attached. Staff was very helpful! My bf &I were talked by about what we wanted and a clerk was walking by and pointed us in right direction even without us asking for help! Cashier was friendly & polite. As for the bathrooms, I think they were as clean as public restrooms could be. Of course it was 11am and day not half over but I've seen a lot of public restrooms unfortunately and this was one of the cleanest. Would I visit again? I just wish every convenience store was exactly like this. Yes, I would patronize this store if ever in the area again!
