Even so, the scattering of trees and a couple of ingenious hole set ups make this 9-hole course a treat. What's more is that each hole has a long and short basket, offering 18 different hole combinations - as well as handicapped holes when you have two different.skill sets in your group. . What we like more is the convenience of well-placed tee boxes, which usually sit less than 50 feet from the previous hole/basket. . Lastly, the course is maintained by YMCA, which means manicured fairways, most with a lawn that is just long enough for clover - and avoids treadwear from excessive foot traffic. . The only issue with the Courses is that if you do decide to play 18 holes, you'll be climbing a long set of stairs at the end of each 9 holes. Hole 1 and 10 start at the same pad, but 10 is longer and more trees come into play. Hole 4 is fun. The first pic I added shows it: par 3, 203, through the trees and straight away but downhill. Fun. Hole 5 has the mozzarella sticks (logs) sticking up as obstacles through the course. It's the easiest to birdie on the course. 6 and 7 are in the woods, 6 is the furthest and then 7 will bring you back to the path. I had logs near the pins and #9 is in the field heading to the hill. You'll walk back up the 43 steps you came down earlier to get to #10. Easy parking in the YMCA lot. We'll done Whitehall, nice little course.

Went to Skate America in Grove City and don't ever plan on going back. Their parking lot is small,…read moregravel, and has many holes. This is a very small facility; I've never seen a smaller roller rink. There should have been a cap of how many people allowed in, because it made skating and just moving around inside so difficult. Everything looks at least 30-40 years old here, our booth was wobbly and unstable. The carpet was old and stained. It was very challenging to move around on the carpeted areas, but also the rink, due to the extreme number of people in the building. I felt like I was in a packed bar or club. I can't overstate that there were way too many people and children. The rink itself is painted concrete, which I've never seen before. It is somewhat uneven, you can feel the small rises and falls in the concrete, but it's not too severe. There were A LOT of children with the little PVC skate-aid things, but skating as an adult was made extremely challenging & nearly impossible because of this. The music they played was fun, and there was some interactions from the DJ, like a backwards skate only, and "all girls only skate," and then "all boys only skate," for a song each. I did like that there are ceiling fans over the rink, to cool you down. The ceiling felt really low, which I think made the whole place feel even smaller. The bathrooms were pretty clean and well stocked, but I didn't like that there were no hooks on the bathroom stall doors. They did let me bring my water bottle in, which I appreciated. There were lockers, but we didn't rent one. Overall, this place is probably fine if you're a kid, but terrible if your an adult skater looking to skate. Go to United Skates or America on Refugee instead!!

Champions review Rating 3.4/5…read more Value- 4 $50 for 18 holes on a Friday morning/afternoon. Experience- 3 Pace was slow for a Friday morning/afternoon. We had a group go around us and the 3some that was playing in front of us because they were playing so slow. Condition-3 grounds under repair on two holes. Some of the tee boxes were in need of some work. Greens were well maintained but not perfect. Some bunkers had small rocks in them. Facilities/Amenities-4 Practice range, chipping/ putting green Newer clubhouse with an outdoor patio And a small bar, minimal food and snacks. Older carts Challenge of course-3 Overall Play-Tough course There were 2 holes that I felt were unnecessarily difficult with the design. A par 3 that set upon a hill with a valley below and trees surrounding it. A 4 that could've easily been a par 5. Majority of the holes were doglegs so you really don't need to play driver off tee. Challenge came from hazards mainly all the trees. In depth review This course is one six public courses in Columbus. As someone from Northeast Ohio, Summit county specifically, I've realized just how spoiled we are with quality public courses. However, I will say, Champions gives some of the best courses in our area a run for their money. This course offers some significantly challenging holes while complementing the difficulty with some truly stunning views. While this course didn't have much water there were a fair amount of trees and sand bunkers. Most of the courses played on downhill slopes. There were also several doglegs that presented opportunities to go off the tee with clubs other than driver. On course play alone I would recommend champions but they also come equipped with a newly renovated clubhouse, patio, driving range, and chipping and putting green. The clubhouse staff were cordial but not overlay friendly. Thea starter gave great tips and explanations for the cart path rules. Recommendations to the course staff: The only issue I had with the course was that they had 2 holes with grounds under repair that took up about 30 yards of the fairway. But they did provide signs that let you know how far to get to that area and how far to clear. My issue was that they just hosted the USGA Junior tournament and that had to be an issue for those players.Also, I don't think that any course should be charging the full amount while there's major repairs going on. If I don't get the full experience then there should be some sort of discount. That's just my humble opinion. This is more common practice at courses in northeast Ohio. Overall: I would go back to see the course fully repaired and hope there isn't a ton wind.

There are some interesting layouts that will have you shooting blind to a few holes, but the U-Disc app layout is good. Speaking of that, the app defaults to a par 3, but the course markets at each hole will designate the course par for each hole. 16, 17 and 18 are par 4 by the signs but par 3s on the app. The course is kept up pretty well by the Columbus Parks folks, as they keep the grass cut and trash off the course. 18 holes Cart friendly, but No dogs though. Concrete pads Mach III target holes No restrooms on the course There is a water fountain midway through the course- let the water run for 10 secs to get cold! Took a staycation in the area and noticed how many disc golf courses are available! I thought, how…read morehard can it be? Let's give it a try! We followed signs to the course, which could have been a tad better, but we made it. We had frisbees in the car so we were kinda geared up. When you get to the course, there may be discs available for your use left by others. We lucked out by someone's generosity so I borrowed one- just to have options. There is an area before the course starts that you can play a game closer to the "basket" to get some practice. Each hole has a par like regular golf and every hole had its own challenges. It turns out I suck. I threw more of a hissy fit than the frisbee! I still enjoyed walking the course and watching my boyfriend play. It's such a beautiful park and a great way to spend the afternoon outdoors.
