I did not visit the casino but instead utilized their free RV parking. Arriving late and departing early, it was probably one of the quietest spots I've enjoyed in some time. I paid a visit to Lucky Star casino in Clinton, OK on Wednesday (04/20/22) around 10:50 a.m. Enter in the casino with a welcoming strong odor of cigarette smoke, which is to be expected. I was going from one machine to another machine playing with my players card and placing bets legally willingly spending my monies there. I was sitting at a machine by the grill placing my bet and a female security guard noticed my players card wasn't in correctly. She was kind enough to keep putting my players card into the slot machine to have my players card accepted. I even put my players card into the kiosk to check their promotions. I was playing a machine, minding my own business. I was approached by two SECURITY GUARDS. Key word SECURITY. The security guard ask for my i.d., I ask, "Am I under investigation?" Security guard responds with the answer "No." I then ask, "Have I committed a crime." The security guard says, "No." I said to the security guard, "No, I have no reason to give you my i.d." The security guard tells me he is doing random i.d. checks. I still refuse to give him my i.d. The security tells me he is going to have to ask me to leave. As I leave and wait in the vehicle for my fiancée. During her visit not once did the security ask for i.d. Later that evening my mother and fiancée drove to Lucky Star casino in Clinton, Ok and the whole time they were there they weren't ask for i.d. A GREAT experience. My car broke down near Clinton OK. I called Love's Travel Center. They suggested a good mechanic. He did all he could while waiting on the part to do the repair. He asked me if I'd like to go to the Casino and have dinner and play some slots. I said that sounds like fun. So we went and I signed up for the slot club.All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. My strategy was to play an hour and quit when I was at 25 bucks I hit the 25 dollar mark but not the hour so I played on. When I got down to 10 dollars I debated on cashing out or playing till zero. I decided on 1 more spin. Good choice. I hit a small jackpot of $25.50 and I cashed out and got dinner. I walked out having played slots for an hour, having a nice dinner and even after the servers tip I had $15.00 ! I recommend this Casino and hope to return next year on my next Annual road trip. They need to go by the Federal law and it doesnt require you to show proof of your SS card. Your proof is when you put your SSN on the 1099 and sign your name. They wanted to hold my money and I coukd come back later(I live 200 miles away) with my SSN card. the employees seemed very confused on what to do. it took forever to Bring the paper work and I waited a long time for my payout. Finally I went up too the payout cage!! Not sure they even know what the rules are when it comes to the social security card!! it wasn't a happy experience and it should have been. !! I had to stop in clinton, OK for our road trip. while stopping here for the night, i noticed billboards that were advertising this casino.... now keep in mind, this place is almost in the middle of nowhere. (apparently about 9k people live here and apparently they all work in the oil and gas sector)... so i thought to myself.. why the hell not?! i have to check out other casinos compared to the ones i have back in cali. from the outside, this place looked puny. like malnourished. but when we walked inside it packed a punch. please note this place was dominated with slots, and has a few tables. i didn't check out the poker room, but i assume it was tiny as well. i wouldn't go as far to say the slots are loose, but i lost money here on the slots, but gained it back +more in blackjack. lol. the ventilation here isn't as good as some of the the casinos i've been too, but what can i expect for one in the middle of no where.. the bar closes early and the restaurant inside closes even sooner. Terrible customer service at the restaurant. Ordered my food and they gave it to someone else. That person left the restaurant with my order only to return the food several minutes later after taking it away saying it wasn't theirs. They then tried to give it to me, but I refused as it had been handled by someone else. When I complained, the manager brushed me and told me settle down. I was calm, but I was trying to talk to him through plexiglass and he was standing 5 feet away. They know better than to give you food handled by another person as that's a health violation, but they don't care. Left without my food and will never eat there again. This is like stepping back in time!! But it's kind of nice. All of the employees are very friendly, the service is good, the food is good, it is just so old school! You need to cash out with an actual cashier person. A lot of the newer machines don't have sound yet. No credit cards. You need to show an ID at the bar, and get a wristband in order to buy alcohol. Kind of made me feel like a child at a waterpark. We arrived in our motorcoach and were able to get free electricity. Very nice. This place is ok I guess for a small casino. It felt very creep though. Not just the dark casino creepy, but sit on your purse with your drink between your leg kind of creepy. Have not been to this casino in several years. This past Sunday, a friend and I wanted to get out of town for a little bit, so we decided to drive over here. Its only about 2.5 hours from where we live. We debated about going 30 miles further, to Sugar Creek, in Hinton, but we decided to stop here. Big mistake. This place is a dump. No other way to put it. Its old, dirty, and not well kept at all. You cant even get a bloody mary at the bar. The kid behind the bar, pulled out an airline bottle of vodka and a can of V-8, and said this is all we got. We couldnt even eat. The cafe looked nasty, and the smell was awful. We tried to play some blackjack, and all but one of the dealers could not count, nor shuffle cards. The room was dank and dark. They only had one table going with about 3 locals playing, who thought they wrote the book on blackjack, yet kept buying back every 30 minutes. The table had tears all over it, and the cloth was dirty and stained. If you want to gamble in Oklahoma, along I-40, I would strongly suggest any place but this one. And yes, we did win a little bit, but it doesnt matter. I wont ever go back to this place, regardless how I do. read more

I went to this casino last week. Due to health issues, I am not able to wear a face mask, so I use a face shield. I've been many places since covid-19 started and I have not had any issues. They insisted that I wear a mask, because my face shield was not good enough. I explained that due to medical issues, I'm unable to wear a face mask. I tried to reason with them, even brought up the American Disability Act. They threatened to have me arrested if I didnt leave. I went to my car to make a phone call and google ADA. When I didnt immediately drive off, they threatened to call the Oklahoma State Troopers on me. My car was surrounded by 2 security guards and a representative of the casino. They didnt want to move, making it hard for me to leave. I wasnt scared but I was immensely pissed off. After all that, they offered to let me come in and gamble, if I was willing to wear a mask. Stupid!!!! I cant wear one!!!! I told them that if I had a billion dollars, I wouldnt spend a penny in their casino. They are horrible. Dont go there. read more

We were traveling in motorhome & rain started!! We decided we needed to stop until it cleared. Called & were told we could park overnight here. They sent someone out to escort us to a spot. When you hit the service button on your machine three times and nobody comes, that's awful service. Parking is horrible! Everyone in there chain smokes like a chimney. The top flight rent a cop security is a joke! They harass you the whole time you are there. Don't go to this casino. You can't wash the smell off your clothes. It's the worst casino I've ever been to. Drive the distance to a different Casino. I wish I would have read a review on how crappy this place was before I stopped and wasted an hour of my life. Maybe I'm more accustomed to the lights and glitter of Vegas but this casino was certainly lack luster. From outside this building appears small and quaint and is surrounded by a small parking lot but when you go inside you discover a maze of rooms, each filled with the sounds and lights of winning and losing. Due to the layout this casino is certainly more smokey than others and the kitchen/bar area are certainly outdated and depressing. I approached the bar and asked if they had cocktails to which I was informed that they didn't have the liquor license for that?!?!? A casino?!?!? I opted for a Smirnoff Ice only to discover that they couldn't service beer stronger than 3.2%.... strange OK laws. They staff @ the desk were friendly but on the floor they are "stand-offish" and don't look for a waitress to offer a drink because they don't exist.
