If you are looking for a little drop-in, hole-in-the-wall place for a good, quick meal, then this is the place.

Just what Bonham needs - another mexican food restaurant! Then again, variety inspires…read morecompetition... And this place is literally within spitting distance of my office, so I had to at least give it a try. A few of us from the office walked over here shortly after its opening not too long ago. We were greeted immediately & seated towards the back part of the restaurant. Honestly, I think the location may be a little large for an eatery, but better to err on the side of too much space than not enough. The chips & salsa were pretty standard, but not overly exciting. There was a slight greasy texture to the chips & the salsa seemed a bit weak. I ordered the chicken fajitas since those seem to be pretty safe at most mexican restaurants. Honestly, they were not impressive. The chicken was extremely dry, had no flavor, and the onions were basically raw instead of sauteed. In comparison to the other mexican joints around, the portions here are very meager especially when you look at the prices. You can get twice as much for several dollars cheaper at a few other places, which lends itself to either one really large meal, sharing with friends, or having a second meal of leftovers to enjoy. Sadly, the price does not match up to the value at all. The servers were pretty nice, though a little slow to refill drinks. Sure, it was lunch time, but the place wasn't exactly crowded. Still, I can appreciate having to work out the kinks within the first few weeks of opening a place. They did put forth a lot of effort. I may try this place again to see if they've improved their food since the opening. Until then, I'll be visiting Luna Azul or Los Amigos instead!
