You order at a kiosk. It's super clean and smells great. Staff says hello and welcome when you walk in. They are making the pizzas and dishes where you can see the whole process! I did a gluten free crust, and a build my own! 10.5 inches with tons of toppings for 15.99 plus tax! They have larger ones and a variety of crusts, cheeses and toppings! Very simple to order! I got basil pesto as my sauce, fresh mozzarella ( you can get shredded but I got the melty balls), chicken, tomatoes, arugula, Kalamata olives, spinach, garlic, and some kind of cool funky pepper I can't remember the name of. Staff was friendly, I waited for the text to pop up on my phone, and it was hot and fresh! I was offered Parmesan, crushed pepper and their home made ranch. I took all of that... brought it home to my husband (hour 15 min drive). They had run out of wings that day. Waiting on a truck. So I ordered wings from our hometown and got those on the way home. We watched football and had wings and pizza. He was so impressed with the pizza! I cook a LOT... a lot of healthy amazing dishes. I make my own pizza but he said this was the next best thing. Have been going to this location for years. No more. To many issues to mention. You have to choose topping from list not seeing them. We had two pizzas made. Done at different times, one was cold by the time the other was done. Total time in building 1 hr for a to go order. Took 35 minutes after I paid for it. Also my account had been deleted that was tied to my email and phone number. Was told that soon you would not be able to see the different ingredients. There are better pizza places around to get pizza. So I'm done with craft pies. Every customer was having issues that night. One family dine in, had ordered 4 pizzas. Came out separately over a period of 20 minutes. Not blaming the staff of employees, the is obliviously a manager, owner or corporate decision. read more

waited in line for almost 30 minutes with only one Pizza maker working the line and she was slow at that. We were next in line when a second pizza maker came up and started making orders for 3 different people behind us who used the Kiosk to order from, this is not right there is a line for a reason Kiosk or not. If I'm in line then my order should be next regardless. Yes the Pizza is good but with poor customer service and poor chain of command it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Total time was 52 minutes from order to pizza on our table the others using Kiosk less than 30 minutes.....very unacceptable. Close down the line and provide Kiosk only service if your going to treat people that way. read more

Been to this and a few other locations and it's always superb. Pick and choose your own topping or choose one of the common favorite combos. The dough is Uber thin and crispy after coking so you get the cracker base with all the yummy toppings. And if you can't do bread, get the cauliflower crust! (It's my absolute favorite) read more

The service quick and friendly, especially with how busy it was because $2 Tuesdays. I ordered 6 cheese pizzas and I only had to wait about 10 minutes! Very impressed with the hard work of the staff today, they were angels. My heart goes out to them, considering most of them were young and came straight from school to work. There is good, bad and ugly. The pizza is good, one price fits all. The bad, plenty of people that don't have a clue about cleaning off tables. The ugly. When they do clean off tables they wipe the crumbs onto the seats of the chairs. The pizza " sauce " is mostly tomato paste with few spices. The dough is made on site but the cheese comes pre-grated in a bag. Quality? Dough is sitting in pans in a rack waiting on customers? They push these artsy fartsy pizzas when most folks want something normal. My suggestion is to get back to basics. The one price scheme is great just take it up a notch. Run a one price beverage included buffet at lunch Monday thru Friday. Business slow on Tuesday nights? Run a Tuesday night special or Buffet ( a la Pizza Inn back in the day ). Pizza is cheap to make, food cost for the 12 dollar pizza should be about 2.30 to 2.72. Having a manager and 4 people working the place should be hopping. Instead, they were all lollygagging. UPDATING REVIEW ~09-14-21~ We left here bewildered today. We arrived around 12:30pm for lunch. We walked in and proceeded to order our pizzas. Right when you walk in behind the counter, there is an opening to the back for supplies, I suppose. You have some young man propped up against the opening for whatever reason. That's cool. But why are you there holding 1 ballon?? Everyone is busy but him. None of my business, JS. You have the sweetest older lady working circles around the youth employed here. We can't hear the older ladies soft voice, and there is only a group of 4 others in this place eating. It's just loud with the music on blast. Another employee comes to help her make the pizzas. This employee can't hear us and we can't hear her. (We wondered if we were being punked) We find a seat after going through the line. And balloon boy goes out the side door? My brother says he is probably the manager? I still don't know what balloon boys purpose is? With all the craziness in Texas I tell my brother, maybe he is just hanging out with his friends? We're semi uneasy. Our names are called so we return to the pizza counter to retrieve our pizzas. Balloon boy returns through the side door. This time he has changed clothes and has on a work shirt. Now he gets behind the counter and goes to work assisting customers for about 10 minutes. We try to enjoy our pizza but Balloon boy goes out the side door again. Do I sound paranoid or what??? Old age sucks. We are usually with the entire family here. But not today, thank goodness. My brother says, Balloon boy is back at his car. I have lost interest and just want my paranoid self out of there. We box up our pizzas and leave. On the drive back to the house, I mention to my brother, from now on we are ordering our pizza for delivery. We can't hear them, they can't hear us, and we're too old to be here. I call Craft Pies, when we leave to see if they deliver. Nope no delivery. But she says I can place my order for delivery through Door Dash. Huh? No thanks. That would be like us eating at Pizza Hut? We choose to support Craft Pies a local business. Why wouldn't they choose to use a local delivery service in Texoma Land? We are just customers what do we know...... read more

I usually hate these type of one-price-for-everything craft pizza places. Blaze, Your Pie, etc. But Mod Pizza and Craft Pies get it right. That being said, it's not my typical type of place I like to eat pizza, but given I'm old school and enjoy the old sit-down pizzerias that just aren't around much anymore, I don't have much of a choice, so these kind of places will have to do. The food is high quality and when you are there, and it comes straight to your table, it is delicious. But other reviews have the criticisms correct. The service is horrible. VERY young kids who have apparently never been taught to clean a table or the floor. Every time I go to this place, someone (sometimes me) has to ask someone to clean tables as they are all literally covered in crumbs and sticky soda on the floor. Just filthy. They quickly come out and do it, but the complaints about the teens standing around chatting in the back, folding boxes or pre-covering pans with dough on them are very valid. Cleanliness should be a higher priority over all of the above items. Even around the soda fountain, which is always disgusting. Finally, the complaints in other reviews that make no sense to me are an obvious sign of the times, and exactly why I like going to sit-down restaurants. If you are using Door Dash, UberEats, etc. to get a pizza from a place like this, and an hour+ later you get it and it's cold, YOU are the reason the sit-down industry has died. Go to the damn restaurant. Expecting restaurant quality food delivered an hour later to your house is just stupid. That's completely on you. read more

What is happening? Six months ago, Five stars. Now, no. 3/4 of my last orders have been wrong. Specifically placed online. Either through their website or door dash. Today they lost our order. That was annoying, but then on top of loosing it, when they remade it, they made the pizzas wrong. Since I wasn't personally there to catch it, my pie arrived missing a few ingredients. (This is unfortunately common for craft pies these days.) We have generally spoken with the manager and she's fixed the orders when able, along with assuring us that they would improve. If anything, it's gotten worse. On top of being wrong, my pizza was also undercooked and doughy today. We used to love Craft pies, but slowly we are loosing our trust in them. I write this review in hopes that management will actually see and take note, I hate to see a local business go under that has a ton of potential but the empty parking lot seems to predict just that. These experiences are based of MULTIPLE visits, both eat-in and to-go, lunch time or/and evening. We used to LOVE the location in Pottsboro, and this one as well when it first opened. But we're now at the point where we just won't return. First and foremost, there are nothing but kids working here and it shows. Dirty tables, constant mess all around the soda machine, just sitting around talking ignoring customers waiting to order or pickup, sometimes even no one to be found. The tables aren't just not wiped down, which they aren't, but I'm talking several tables with cups, plates, trash, food on the table top, chairs, and surrounding floor. Messes that have gone ignored long enough for several parties to have added to the disaster. Plenty of people standing around, no one remotely interested in cleaning. I normally prefer to order my food to go, so those things might not affect me too much except the food also has seriously declined. The sauce is now bitter, the toppings are inconsistent in amount and quality, and the overall product is sloppy and you never know what you're going to get. Ordering your food to go is a risk you probably shouldn't take, complete lack of attention paid to anything. Once I asked for garlic and got corn. You can order the exact same pizza two days in a row and will get two completely different products. One day it's slightly raw and cheese barely melted, the next the bottom is burnt and there's a "half a pizza" sized slice next to four tiny half way cut pieces. The last time we visited, early dinner time, it took me over 20 mins from the time I walked in to the time I paid for my food at the end of the line...I was the ONLY person there. Three or four other kids standing around leaving one very obviously new employee to make my order with no clue what she was doing, and no one willing to step in and help her out. The end result was so bad we each ended up throwing the food away and going to Culver's for dinner. There were 2 out of 5 or 6 soda options actually available with "out" posted on all the others, no tea made, and no ice. There wasn't a manager in sight to speak with about our experience. I would love to see this place turned back around, we were frequent visitors when it first opened, 1-2X a week at least. read more

this place hits it out of the park! we did this post-church on a Sunday. I was a bit unequivocal, because I'm not a huge fan of the concept. but this place erased that thought. I love love love love the sauce!!! they offer vegan cheese, and put it on in the right amounts (for vegan cheese, less is more). ample seating. it seems that most people do takeout, because there's a long line, and the seating area never fills up. I love the fact that in lieu of napkins they put paper towel roles on each table. the people behind the counter are young kids, and are friendly enough. the standard pizza size truly is enough for two, particularly if you add a salad. the pizzas come out of the oven around 10 minutes after ordering. my take home points are... it's much better than Mod; I love the sauce; while we're in town for the week, will come back here at least once or twice more. read more

That's okay, I reordered for pick up. I got up there 10 min after it was supposed to be ready and they had to look up my order. They were going to start making it in front of me. I thought the pizza was great. Any amount of toppings for a flat price (I think the standard crust was $8.95). I went with the fiery carnivore but added mushrooms and peppadew peppers. Super yummy and their ranch was perfect to dip in for a cool off. My son picked a design your own and picked pepperoni and sausage. They also have a cauliflower crust but we didn't try it but thought I would mention it for those out there that are gluten sensitive. read more

My father in law just had surgery, we ordered craft pies for the first time online on the way home. The most disappointing experience I've ever had with craft pies. It was on us for not checking the "goods" before leaving - we weren't exactly thinking of the pizza at that time. But when your order pizza with "extra extra sauce" you expect some amount of sauce. When you order cilantro you expect it. When you order Buffalo sauce and get little to non it saddens you. Can't even taste the ranch. But there is chicken...so that's a plus.
