Came for a kids birthday party. Place is decent size, it was big to me. They also mini arcade as well. Food was alright it was chicken strips and pizza. Margarita was pretty good. Overall I would return.

I rented some lanes for a birthday party. I disliked that there was a lack of transparency regarding gratuity. The contract does not state that 20% tip is included and it was sprung on me when I was about to leave for the night. I don't mind providing gratuity but as a business, you need to be upfront with customers so they will come back. The food is mediocre, I would pass on the nachos (very unflavorful). The mixed platter is decent, definitely for 5-6 people to share. I also noticed that the waiter with the thick mustache was eating out of people's plates before serving it. This is not cool and I won't be eating here again as a health precaution.

Sadly, I did not win this time around. We did order the food platter which was really good. It came with Pretzels bites with hot dogs, cheese rolls, spring rolls and chicken strips. The service was very friendly here. The security was really on top of people showing their id. I wonder if they have a teen night here. I do want to go bowling again one day. I think its cool they have a little bowling alley in the back of the place. I'm not sure what the prices are now. But I recommend coming here with a group and getting a booth. Its a fun place and I don't see how someone could be bored here. I would like to point out the bathrooms are unisex.

To be fair, still prefer the booze, but health first. We got a package where we had two hours of bowling and a bit of karaoke. We got caesar salad, pigs in a blanket, nachos, and chicken tenders. All was good except the nachos. Skip it. After a game of bowling, some of us stayed and did some karaoke. Personally think this is a good place to bowl, sing, and do other things like pingpong and pool, but the location is not ideal. Port authority gets really sketchy after dark. Would not go out of my way seeking this place out.

Not friendly nor accommodating to children with special needs…read more I am a parent of a child on the Autism spectrum. Today I accompanied my child's class on a school trip to Jib Lanes Bowling Alley. Once we arrived at 10:00 AM. Management refused to open the lanes until every single child was seated. Our school was one of multiple schools in attendance so needless to say that the establishment did not even have enough seating available for the amount of students in attendance. After waiting for over 20 minutes with excited and anxious children, management finally decided to start the machines and open the lanes. After the children were finally allowed to start playing one of the children walked onto one of the lanes and was quickly retrieved and safely escorted back to their seat by school staff. Jib Lanes Management immediately began to scream and shout in a loud and aggressive voice over the public announcement speakers, scaring the children. He began threatening the children, stating that if one more child walks into a lane he would shut down all of the machines and all of the lanes and kick all of the classes out of his establishment.

After searching for a bowling alley without a crazy wait on a Saturday, our search brought us here. $25 per person special to bowl for 2 hours. Cash ONLY. OKKKKK... They do have an ATM on site if you're into that but we went to the bank (10-15 mins away - Chase). The place is VERYYYYY old-school and hasn't been updated in 20-30 years, no joke. No frills - just come in and bowl. No arcades, no other extra games (therefore, no kids running around like crazy...) They have a bar and a little kitchen where you can get some junk / finger food. $3 for a soda. $10 for frozen mozzarella sticks. Parking both and in front and back but looks more like a construction zone (probably because there seemed to be construction next door.) I appreciated it for what it was - a bowling alley where I bowled a couple of terrible games. I did like how a) it wasn't too crowded at all, and b) it didn't have music blaring in the background.

She has never been bowling before and this is a great place for a first timer. It's modern and very beautiful. Staff here is very nice and helpful. I booked this reservation last week and yes it is pricy but well worth the experience in my opinion. When we arrived, there was a guy checking bags and you go through a metal detector. There was also a girl that checked us in and told us we were in lane 6. We got upstairs, used the bathroom and got our shoes. I'm normally a 7-7.5 and the 7 fit perfectly. My husband is a 9.5-10 and he got a 10 which also fit great. I love that we had our own section and the menus were already there. We got a round of drinks and a sampler platter. It had mini mozz sticks, tenders, wings, pretzels and fries. Everything was delicious. There was a manager hanging around making sure things ran smoothly and our server came by to check in a few times. We bowled from 7-9 finishing our game around 8:57 and then went to look around the arcade. I used the bathroom before leaving and i will say it was surprisingly very clean. I also noticed there was another floor to bowl. I will def be coming back here! This place is modern and beautiful with phenomenal service.

I booked a birthday party online about a month in advance. Not sure why no one could find my reservation. The staff were using pieces of paper to look up reservations, and they all had different pieces of paper apparently. I had to mention my reservation twice - upstairs and downstairs and it took them at least 5-10 minutes to locate it, even when I showed them my confirmation email. The weird thing is, they were set up for the party with food and a welcome sign once we got to the lane. It seems like the front of house is not communicating with the back of house. This experience of checking in was annoying and could have gone better.

It was $46 pre tax for one adult and one child. It was alright for me though since it was my first time experiencing Gaming City. To my surprise the price was pretty worth it for all the arcade and games they have. There were games like table hockey, shooting hoops, hockey, VR simulation and interaction, racing games with a simulated motorcycle and race car. I did not expect it to have so many different types of games with DDR and a dancing grid. It just sucked that you cannot finish everything in one hour. We were given a watch to time the whole stay that we paid for. They shined red when the time was up. After the arcade play, we were given each 3 tokens for the claw machines. There were big machines that required 2 tokens and the small one only needed 1 token. The claw machines were so difficult to play. The claws were really sensitive and moved a lot. My friends and I did not even win anything. Sucks. The whole gaming city was really clean and dark. It smelled really clean and the noise level was appropriate. There were bathrooms in the middle of the whole place that were really clean. This place is a must go place for anyone who loves arcade and VR. They have it here in one location, which is right off the train station.

(See my photos for exact price lists/options). We purchases a pkg for 3 ppl for 1 Hr, so it came out to $23.33 per person. (Individual price would have been $32pp). You're given a bracelet to wear. Once your time slot is up, your bracelet will turn red, letting you know your time has expired. This arcade is different from other arcades since it's unlimited play for the specific time period you purchase. The only exception are the multiple Claw Machines at the front of the store: these machines require tokens. Note that at the end of your time slot, each person will receive 3 free tokens to use on these Claw Machines; but there are very slim chances of actually winning something. Also, the Claw Machines require 2 tokens! My niece had 9 tokens and won Nothing!! All-in-all, they had some fun games. There are even 2 VR games. But be warned: if you get motion sickness easily, do NOT do the VR games! lol I was really disappointed that they didn't have Skee-Ball games, which is my fave arcade game. But we had fun exploring all their other games. Customer service (except for the below issue) was terrific. All personnel were very friendly and helpful. They really looked out for everyone on the game floor, ready to help if you didn't understand the games/instructions. There are lockers, restrooms and beverage vending machines. Everything was super clean. Note that the VR machines are sanitized in between players, which I really appreciated. So why 4 Stars and not 5 Stars? Because we had to sign waivers ahead of time, and we were told to show up 15 min BEFORE our time slot, to make sure we check-in Before our time slot starts. Sounds fair, right? Well, we showed up 15 min early, as instructed, only to find out that they are closed! Our time slot was 2pm, and they actually opened at 2pm....so why tell us to show up at 1:45pm on a hot humid day, and make us stand out in the sun for 15 sweaty minutes?!?! Grrrrr....so incredibly annoying!! So just a heads up: if you're going to their first time-slot of the day, do NOT show up 15 min early!!
