The lanes were well kept and the prices were very fair. I went with a group to go bowling in the morning. The price was $10 per person for 2 hours of bowling which I thought was a great price especially considering shoes were included in the price. Astoria Bowl/Bowl 360 has really gone downhill. I came here years ago with my kids and we had a great time at a reasonable price, so I decided to return in March 2025 for my son's 10th birthday. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The two men at the front desk seemed more interested in their own conversation than in helping customers. They had AirPods in and didn't acknowledge anyone waiting until people had to raise their voices just to get attention. The food was another letdown. It looked nothing like what was shown on the menu, portions were much smaller than advertised, and the taste didn't make up for it. The drinks were especially frustrating--a "large" that appeared to be 12-14 oz ended up being about 6 oz of mostly water and ice. There's no way that justifies a $14 price tag. I also noticed that many people were bowling without proper bowling shoes, which is both unsafe and damaging to the lanes. It didn't seem like the staff were enforcing basic safety rules at all. Toward the end of our visit, around 7pm, there was another issue that felt very inappropriate for the setting. A female staff member's attire was extremely revealing, which made the environment uncomfortable--especially with so many families and children present. By this I mean- you could see her ENTIRE rear-end and it seemed she had no undergarments on. There were 30-40 teenage boys in there at that time...so you can imagine what happened...the entire scene was disgusting. On top of all that, everything felt overpriced for the quality and atmosphere. The floors were sticky, the tables were dirty, and aside from one young man serving food--who at least made an effort--most of the staff didn't seem interested in being there or helping customers. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially for what was supposed to be a special birthday outing. The place is filthy. Everywhere! Terrible experience. They have their 10am-1pm $10 unlimited bowling deal advertised everywhere. But when we went allllll the way there at 12:30pm they said all the lanes were taken. I looked around and there were clearly many lanes open. Then they say oh cause they booked online. But their $10 deal is advertised as you must be there before 1pm to bowl and first come first serve. Well obviously not cause we waited til after 1pm to see if those lanes would be taken. Guess what, they were not. The people who online booked it for before 1pm never showed up and the place is still holding their $10 lanes. Then they wanted to charge us $40 for after 1pm. Women's restroom - odorous, filthy & clogged toilets, wet sticky floor, trash on the floor, NO toilet paper at all. I've seen porto potties in better condition. Service - I ordered and paid for food and drinks that I never received. After waiting 3 hrs and having not been served a single thing I paid for, I asked politely for a refund. The manager was rude and unwilling to accommodate my party. He stated a no refund policy and walked away. No food, no drinks, no money back. I also put money on a game card to use the air hockey tables. 2/3 tables were not functional. The one that was actually on did not provide enough air so the puck kept getting stuck in the middle of the table. It was not fun to play at all - we didn't even finish the game. The puck was also chipped and clearly overused. How hard is it to upkeep your establishment or at the very least place a "not in service" sign. This is an excellent place to go bowling. It is a modern and fun bowling alley, with neon lights and club music playing. They have some super cheap deals too. If you go between 10:00am to 1:00pm any day of the week, you can bowl for up to 2 hours for only $10! And that is with the cost of shoe rental included. For most bowling alleys nowadays, $10 is the cost for just one game. Even on Sunday to Thursday from 1:00pm to closing time, they only charge $25.00 per person for up to 2 hours of bowling. BOWLING: Kind of disorganized upon asking for a bowling lane, the girl at the front desk asked us to wait and after 10 minutes of just silence and her going back-and-forth with a coworker she finally asked what we wanted. I asked for a bowling lane for one game; she charged us $36 for one game and that wasn't including shoes. They came off as dismissive, that she completely forgot to even ask for our shoe sizes. I had to remind her and ask "and the shoes?" So, we get the shoes and she says she will send a server to our lane/table. Upon getting to Lane 17, the table was left with water rings and crumbs from former guests. There were napkins on the ground and on the booth which I pushed off. Mad dirty. Plus, the server never came lmao. BILLIARDS/BAR ROOM: The bartender and server in this little room, where there's pool and other games available, they informed us of that in order to play pool or anything you have to open a card and insert money for it similar to Dave & busters. Pretty straightforward, but sucks that one pool table didn't work because we had to "hold the start button immediately after swiping for three to five seconds" or else it would just steal your money. That's what the bartender verbatim said to us. So we just changed tables and it worked out fine thankfully. The drinks were WEAK, nothing special, whiskey sours are supposed to have a a nice kick to it, and this one just tasted like straight up Tropicana juice with a lot of ice. ZERO Stars I don't really write reviews but this place was so absolutely horrible that I feel obligated to warn people about it. DO NOT GO HERE. First of all we didn't even start bowling until like 40 mins after our reservation bc there was no staff there to help us check in upon arrival. When someone finally did appear at the front desk they completely ignored us (even though we were at the front of the line) and began helping other customers. We had to try multiple times to get their attention before anyone even looked at us. The whole check in process was confusing, chaotic, and stressful. We had 2 hours of bowling time reserved and ordered food/drink before starting. After about an hour we asked a staff member about the status of our order which we still hadn't gotten. We went up to the front desk about 8 times throughout our 2 hours of bowling to ask them about our food. The only reason I even kept asking was because I already paid for the food and knew our time was almost over. Staff kept assuring us that it was in the process of being made and would be out soon. Mind you it was a couple of drinks, fries, and chicken tenders not a 5 course meal. Our food/drinks NEVER came, not even a single drink was served. By the time our bowling time was done we were already frustrated with the lack of service and lack of help from the staff. We simply asked for a refund for the food/drinks that we paid for and never received. The manager who was RUDE, DISMISSIVE, and COMPLETELY UNHELPFUL, then explained there was a no refund policy and said our food would be out in 30 minutes. Since they refused a refund I stood there and waited another hour and the food never came out. Not only did the manger lie about our order but refused to issue a return on our money. Honestly just tired and I over it I ended up leaving and received NO food and NO refund. They just STOLE my money. I paid for a service I never received and think it's only fair to get that money back. I spent $70 on food/drinks and waited 3 hours just to be robbed of my time and money. Came here a couple of weeks back on a Wednesday afternoon to take advantage of the 2 hours of unlimited bowling for $10 per person. We were accommodated immediately and obtained a lane in the corner (lane 15). My friend and I happened to come here on a day where the computers and ATMs were down. Apparently a drunk driver drove into a power line the night before and caused an outage. Therefore, we were unable to order any food and drinks. The transaction to even bowl was made over the phone via their second location. Fortunately the music was pretty good while we were bowling. The staff was nice and understanding. The bathroom was absolutely DISGUSTING and unsanitary with blood splattered all over one stall. It was unprofessional and disorganized. The place is full of nasty people shaking a** in your face and sloppy drunks stumbling around. We received a lane and then when we got to it, there was a large group of people sitting around our table / lane just eating & drinking. They moved after being asked but left nasty crumbs and sauce all over our seats and table. The people were awful and so was everything else. I would never return here if you paid me. Omg!!! This place went downhill. My family and I met up with more family members. They said the wait would be like 20-30minutes tops. No problem. We figure while we wait we can grab something to eat. Lots of empty tables . Yet not 1 person came to see if we needed help. I was getting frustrated my husband told me just wait until we get our lanes. Finally got our lanes , when we got there the table was full of eaten food and drinks. Clearly it was cleaned before giving the new people that lanes. Even the bigger table behind the lanes was dirty. I had to look for someone to come clean the table . He did but didn't clean the menus which were sticky from people spilling drinks. Our family had a great time playing BUT always had to look for someone. Took forever to get a server. The food and drinks too super long. Then we had to send one of the orders back because the chicken was still cold. I must say the bathroom was decent and they seemed to have revamped where the bar was and they added pool tables. I've been to this place a dozen times before COVID and I am so happy it is still in business . It's a small bowling alley . Plenty of street parking and they also have parking on the side of the business for bowling patrons . They sell food , and have a lounge and bar . ( this was the last day of indoor dining due to COVID restrictions in nyc. ) The staff do a really good job with enforcing social distancing . When you come in there is a thermal temperature taker at the front and the person at the desk also takes the temperature on your wrist . You have to fill out a contact paper form with your address and phone number . The lanes all have plastics and barriers between them and are separated by one lane. There is one ball allowed per person and after you leave the whole area is sanitized immediately .The staff was excellent and very attentive Thank you Astoria bowl staff I felt very safe here and would definitely come again . read more

Run FAR AWAY FROM THIS ENTITY!!! My wife and I went bowling here last night and as avid bowlers, we've been to FAR BETTER bowling alleys than here. This is our first and will be our last time being here. Everything I'm about to share is a WARNING ‼ - so take heed: 1. You are SEARCHED and Patted down by "security" before you enter. Ladies your breasts will be touched and rubbed and your bra played with. You will be fondled. 2. They do NOT honor their own specials. The Easter special I attached- although the dates and everything there is clear / we ended up paying $136 for 4 games, and the staff trying to remove us from our lanes to place us on a waiting list. They refused to honor it. 3. The food and drinks are overpriced and disgusting. $82 for 3 appetizers and 2 drinks that we couldn't finish nor enjoy as it was too salty, the drinks didn't taste good and the waitress kept avoiding eye contact to not serve us was weird af. Also you pay first and then get your food- just think of John Quinones episodes when you go there. 4. They charge each person per game. So if you're a party of 2 people, each of you are charged- $38 per person (it's not charged per group) 2 games each. 5. People steal your bowling balls from your lane consistently, instead of asking the front desk for help. 6. We walked past people who came in and left with them still WAITING FOR A LANE. We were there for over 2 hours and people weren't given lanes although we saw empty lanes. 7. They squeeze large groups next to each other - we saw a group of 6 squeezed next to a group of 8 people. They all looked upset and uncomfortable . It was terrible 8. The front desk staff- the guy with the glasses was very nice. The woman with the red hair‍ has no idea what she's doing. This was my first time going to Bowl 360 Astoria and probably would be my last. I went on a Friday evening with my boyfriend and it looked pretty promising. The place was spacious, there were multiple lanes on each side of the building and best of all, they were playing bumpin' music. We put our name on the list and waited about 20 minutes. Unfortunately my boyfriend missed the call, so when we went up to the front desk, the worker said we would be up next. They were calling names that weren't ours, when we thought we were next? We've waited and waited, basically waited a total of 50 minutes. My boyfriend went up to talk to them for 20 minutes until they finally gave us a lane. They said we missed our call and have to be put at the end of the list. After waiting 50 minutes and already talking to the front desk, we had to go back in line again? My bf was not going to let that happen and after going back and forth for 20 minutes, the manager agreed to let us get a lane and he threw in an extra game. We were disgruntled and frustrated, but not going to let that mishap run our night. Bowling was fun and everything went smoothy for the rest of the night. That is the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is the bowling itself. The venue is nice, but dealing with the workers and management was a pain. read more

I enjoy bowling but this bowling alley isn't it. I was in town visiting a friend and we went here Sunday morning for the 2 hour bowling with shoe rental special for $10. The first lane we was on had issues so we had to be moved. That next lane eventually gave us problems too which cut into our time. We asked for our time to be extended or add one game since we lost time due to lane issues. The lady at the desk wasn't able to because she wasn't properly trained to only her manager could who was behind the bar making drinks. Went to 360 Bowling with 9 people. Was told the wait would be 30 mins instead the wait was 1hr and 45 mins. Once finally settled, we ordered food and all our food arrived except for a platter. When asked what happened we were told they have our food to another party. A refund was given but that alone took 45 mins due to the manager having to locate a card machine. The staff was extremely overwhelmed. There was no order and the kitchen staff could not handle there orders as well. Mind you this was at 6 pm! So I can just imagine later. I suggest you do not go to this location bc the staff is inadequate to handle large crowds and the bathrooms were also disgusting. Also when we went to our assigned alley it was disgusting. No one cleaned or picked up shoes left. We had to do our own cleaning prior to playing our games. Also the game had to be stopped bc the balls were not returning. Management here is a JOKE. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE. The manager couldn't even offer us the special pricing to compensate for wasting our time. Came early on Saturday 12:15PM trying to catch the special before 1PM. They told us wait was 20-30minutes--okay fine no problem. We waited outside in our car waiting for them to give us a call. Around 1:05PM we still don't get a call so we go in and turns out they crossed off 10 peoples names AFTER ours claiming they "called" us. They didn't. We even showed them our call log. The manager checked his phone and look at that. NO CALL. Then manager, Chris couldn't even accommodate for his staff's screw up who claimed "she called us." The staff here are incompetent and worst first experience ever. Didn't even get to bowl and wasted over 2 hours driving and waiting here. Every weekend we'd go between the Astoria 360 Brooklyn 360 and Ozone 360 bowling lanes. Sometimes even during middle of the week. Always had a good time. Staff were nice and they knew and did their jobs. Until recently ... Lately Astoria staff were becoming (new staff) more and more unprofessional. Here are a few examples - Typically Brooklyn bowl 360 and Ozone will oil their lanes in the morning. At Astoria? They will only oil based on tips. Other 360 place do not do this. We suspect the Astoria oiler is doing the wrong thing. If he wants the tips then come to the lanes at least when the place open??? His excuse 'we only have certain amount of oil to use per week' and 'we only oil for league players'. Terrible excuses and dishonest. We came as a group of 5 at around 1030a weekend and requested 2 of the regular lanes. Front desk said no 2 regular lanes. "We have a large party coming at 11." And wanted to split us one reg side and one side with the party lights. Did the party requested special lanes? Otherwise they can use the party lanes? We convinced them the party wouldn't care so we were put on reg lanes. Either way, at 1145, no party. They've established that their priorities are the big party groups that show up once in their life and not the regulars who are there on weekly basis. There are better places to go besides Astoria 360. Try Whitestone lanes. Or Brooklyn 360. Or Ozone 360. All better than Astoria 360. Btw there's a bowling shop next to the stairs. Food was HORRIBLE. ordered taco supreme and a vanilla milkshake and waited over 45minutes for the food and another 45minutes for the shake. as the food arrived to our section it was only meat and cheese nothing else. I believe a call was made because the person in charge didn't have authorization to proceed with a refund without a code. after 15 minutes of waiting they processed the refund for the ice cream but we were told that we couldn't get a receipt because "he didn't know how to". this place customer service is extremely horrible as we will not be returning ever again. read more

It's a good place to come during the day for some fun with family and friends. I'd avoid weekend nights as it gets crowded and rowdy. You have to ask for bowling balls vs other places having racks of them available. Not a big deal but can get annoying when there are a lot of people. The most important part: wear your worst socks or your least favorite socks. Came here twice and both times the shoes they provided smelled awful. Looks can be deceiving. That's what I learned when I saw this place. It looks deserted on the outside but when you walk inside it's popping with kids and adults. Once you check-in as long as it isn't during cosmic bowling, you can get a free game. Yay! I went once during the daytime on a Saturday, and I used the check-in plus I had my own bowling shoes. First game was free! I went during Cosmic Bowling the second time and the wait wasn't too bad. It was like 20 mins on a Saturday night. We bowled for like 1 hour and that was like 3.5 games. The only bad part was that the balls kept getting stuck behind the pins. The alley needs a bit updating, but at least it wasn't as crowded as bowlero. Holy cow that place was packed. More groups and etc kept coming in and kids were screaming and running around like crazy. If you would like a less hectic and more organized place, you should check this place out.
