Multiple items arrived that did not match the catalog descriptions or photos. Condition issues that should have been disclosed were either downplayed or omitted entirely. When I contacted them about the discrepancies, the response was essentially "sold as-is" with no meaningful effort to resolve the problem. Shipping was a major problem. After payment, it took weeks (in some cases closer to a month or more) to get items out the door. Tracking updates were sparse or nonexistent for long stretches. The third-party shipping they use charged fees that felt completely out of line with the size and weight of the lots -- significantly higher than what other auction houses charge for comparable items. Packaging quality was also inconsistent; some pieces arrived with inadequate protection. Customer service made everything worse. Emails and phone calls often went unanswered or received delayed, unhelpful replies. Getting clear answers on shipping status, revised invoices, or condition issues required repeated follow-ups. It felt like no one was accountable once the sale was over. Overall, the combination of inaccurate descriptions, excessive and slow shipping, and poor follow-through left a very negative impression. I will not bid with them again and would advise others to factor in the real post-sale costs and risks before participating.

There have been a couple occasions over the years where they were supposed to be open as per listed hours, but were not. This is relatively rare, but still notable. Recommended to call ahead if you have any doubts. Unfortunately, that is the biggest flaw here. Their customer service seems fine, but once you can establish contact. Email response is questionable. Calling works, but getting in touch with the right person to do what needs to be done can be a challenge. Much more responsive in person.
