The sides are consistent in what you get and the nice thing is you get to choose 3 with bento boxes. The complimentary soup is alway nice and my rating varies depending on what they made that day but never below 3/5. Noodle texture is excellent and overall pretty tasty. The hk milk tea is a bit inconsistent and can be oversteeped. My partner got the chicken wings (doesn't come with fries, but you can swap some wings for them), and unfortunately looked kinda sad. 6 wings sparsely placed... tasted okay. Only place I found so far that has soya milk as an option for their afternoon tea drink. So will definitely come back. Will see if I can get it hot next time. This eatery is in a plaza roughly fifteen minutes from my home. My issue was the signage when I got to this restaurant. On Fantuan, this business is listed as Red Tea House. If you can't read traditional Chinese, you'd think that the place is called Hong Kong Beef Noodles, as it's the only English sign that you see. If you can read Chinese, the three characters literally translate to Red Tea Street. Maybe it's me. A house and a street are two different objects. I don't get the translation. At least the sign is red, to match the first character. There was lots of parking in this plaza. I backed into a spot and walked in. It's a Hong Kong-style cha chaan teng. I have only visited Hong Kong once and loved the food. There were several folks eating when I walked in. I waited at the back by the payment area for someone. I looked at the blue Fantuan bag in front of me. It looked like my order. I got a woman who first started to speak to me in Mandarin. I don't speak it. I spoke to her in English. We enjoyed the house soup and the change in choices. Hard to find parking here particularly if your group has anyone with mobility concerns.
