February 8, 2026 - Decided to try this place after hearing about how good the value for money is here. I got the Singaporean beef noodles, curry chicken and pork chop. I can tell it was pretty popular as soon as I walked in as it was the only place in this plaza that had a lineup. The food was all solid. Everything was cooked decently well. You get pretty good bang for your buck here as the portions are huge. My only minor complaint was the potatoes in the curry were a bit hard and undercooked. My team and I got lunch from here the other day. A few people on my team spoke highly of the quality and value of the restaurant. I ordered the broccoli beef with rice noodle and soup (soy milk is an another option) - this came to $12.50+tax. The rice noodle is actually an upgrade for $1 as the standard is steamed rice. You could also get fried noodles for $2 extra. The container was packed to the brim; I had a healthy portion of beef as well as fresh broccoli. The menu is extensive which makes planning for a group much easier. We called ahead as orders can take long- they're super busy, and regularly have a line. Can see 2 cooks in back working their woks in high flames, so the "wok hei" flavor profile is good. If you're picking up food in the normal peak hours, order in advance via phone or be prepared to wait. Pay $10 for their VIP card for 10% discount on all future orders. I came back here for lunch 5/24, the service is still very friendly, and they are still very popular. However, the quality isn't the same for me this time. I think it's because my partner and I ordered the same the dish, and when they're making the same dish the proportions aren't the same. We both ordered the salted fish and diced chicken fried rice - for this dish, the salted fish is the highlight. My plate didn't have any salted fish, and the chicken had the plastic piece that is typically supposed to be cut off. It felt like I had chicken fried rice, and if that's what I wanted I would have ordered it. This is the only restaurant that I came back to that I thought I was very sure about and looked forward to after an 8+ hour roadtrip, and sadly it wasn't the same experience. I still appreciate that they give you a free drink with your meal, and I always opt for their soup of the day. This food court stall has both Canadian Chinese & more traditional Cantonese food. Many of the latter are only listed in Traditional Chinese characters, though, so you can either bring a friend who can read them or try relying on Google's quirky translations. While there're other stalls in the food court (notably the one right next to this one, which similarly sells Cantonese & Canadian Chinese food), there's a reason this is the only one with a palpable line. Portions are pretty big. Pork with golden mushroom eefu noodles was especially humongous. Noodles had a tasty sauce with 2 types of mushroom: Button & enoki. Sauce was a bit salty but flavourful. Shrimp Singapore style vermicelli was not bad. It had quite a lot of shrimp & a decent wok flavour. Shrimp & chicken in lobster sauce with fried noodles & bean sprouts: the noodles had a good smoky wok flavour. The shrimp pretty tasty but the flavour was heavy (which was why they recommended it with rice instead). Seafood lo mein had a lot of seafood. The fish was ok, the shrimp was pretty bouncy. The sauce was clean tasting but on reflection this is not the dish to choose if you want smoky wok flavour. They also sell fried chicken & you can just order one piece. Once, I had deep fried chicken on fried rice: the fried rice only had egg but was still tasty, with a good smoky wok flavour. There were 3 pieces of chicken, which had a light batter & wasn't greasy. On another visit, I had a fried chicken thigh. It wasn't as good as the previous time: it wasn't fresh though it was still somewhat crispy. It was rather mild tasting this time too. This place is a hidden gem.....literally. There's no way that you would be able find this place if you didn't already know they were there. They're located in a dead mall food court. BUT they're always busy. Don't try calling in during their busy periods to order for a later pickup, they will ask u to call back later. Or they will call you back when they have some time, which is what happened to me on Saturday. We always order fried rice, fried noodles, fried chicken (such good value), and occasionally dinner dishes as a 'combo' meal. I don't think we've ever gotten anything thats bad there, and for the price they are amazing.it's good old Chinese comfort food. read more

I was just walking by checking out the food court to see what was good. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and kept calling us over. We walked over to see what they had available. She gave us Soy milk and a discount for purchasing just before closing time. We had the Sweet & spicy pork which was the best out of the 3 items. The Sweet & sour pork was just okay, and the fillet in corn soup was just okay as well. The food came out quick. The cutlery she gave us looked really old and dusty.. so i ended up using my own at home. For the price its the same price as going to a restaurant not that much cheaper even with the slight discount. I would rather go somewhere else for dinner. This place offers the best soy sauce chicken in town, but they only do take out. The fried pork chop was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The best sweet and sour chicken I've ever had! You know how the cheap, sh*tty kind has way too much batter covering mostly clumps of fat, leaving you with little meat? Well, that's soooo NOT the case here! I was pleasantly shocked to find lots of "clean" meat (no clumps of gross fat or googly, tendon-y crap). And the light coating of batter meant I got mostly meat, not batter! AND on top of that, the sauce wasn't the typical, overly-sweet rubbish you normally get. We decided to give this place a try after reading the reviews. This place is located in a mall but most of the stores weren't opened when we got here. The only eatery that was opened besides Parkway Kitchen was the Japanese place around the corner. Daughter ordered Q4, which was Chili Chicken On Rice. She thought it was delicious and spicy. Hubs and I thought it was really spicy but she was able to handle it. Hubs and I shared the Soy Sauce Chicken with Vegetables in Noodle Soup. It was a bit soupy but it was tasty. Service was pretty friendly and quick. We didn't realize that soy milk came along with the meal. It was pretty refreshing. Place was busy when we got here. It's a little hole in the wall.
