She puts me back together on my standing apt every 2 weeks. I have had other manicurists complain to me and behind my back about my troublesome nails. Not Jo! I sent my mom a list of places and the first option they were automatically rude due to us not having an appointment scheduled. This ended up being where we ended up and it couldnt have gone any better than it did. They greeted us warmly and although they were busy they told us to give them a few minutes and they'd be right with us. Not 5 minutes later were we getting our nails done. They offered us a drink while we wated. My mom opted for the green tea and I had a Mimosa. Tony treated my mom so well,she's been having an issue with one of her nails and he paid attention and made her hands look stunning. I had Mary and she was the sweetest. She did such an amazing job. We went back this weekend and this time around my mom was helped by Tony and Holly and I got Amy. This is an amazing place to go. They stay busy consistently because although we had an appointment mannn did they have clientele. They are always so sweet and pleasant. My mom and I will definitely be returning.

Last Saturday, while driving through San Marcos, I noticed a small nail and spa shop called Emily's Nail & Spa--coincidentally, Emily is my granddaughter's name. I took it as a sign and decided to stop in and give it a try. Saturday afternoons can be hectic in the manicure and pedicure business, so I wasn't sure what my chances were. The chairs were full, but I was pleasantly told the wait would only be about 15 minutes. I had barely sat down when I was escorted to one of their new, comfortable vibrating chairs and invited to soak my feet in a perfectly warm, whirlpool bath. The shop isn't large, but it is modern, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. My hostess, Ellie, soon began what turned out to be the most enjoyable and comforting pedicure my tired size 14 1/2 EEE feet have ever experienced. I relaxed through the massage and pampering, nearly falling asleep from the sheer comfort of the treatment. Next came my manicure, which was equally impressive--without question, the best I have ever had. During my visit, I enjoyed a refreshing conversation with Ellie. So, I posted the above review less than a year ago. In less than a year, Robbin has moved her…read morelocation 6 times! The worst part is, her product and/or her ability has gone down tremendously. She switched me back to acrylic because she wasn't able to make the gels thin enough. (They were great in the beginning; don't know why she started having trouble. Bad product? Lazy?) However, when I asked her to make the acrylic thinner, she said the problem is the Shellac. She put 2 coats of regular nail polish on and then a top coat of Shellac. The polish bubbled and she said it was because she didn't let the polish dry long enough before putting on the Shellac top coat. My nails are a mess! And her solution? None. She doesn't know how to resolve the problem so she sent me a text suggesting that I find a qualified manicurist! Funny; I was online at the time doing just that!
