Dawn's nails is the only place I'll go to get my nails done from now on. Amazing work, affordable prices and very secluded and peaceful vs going to the nail shop where there are multiple conversations going on at the same time from others and nails techs. Dawn is located in Sola Salon and has a room where she's the only one doing nails. Fabulous work and love love love and can't wait to come back each time read more

Made an appointment with Dawn (first time) while browsing yelp for my mother's nails. She was responsive via yelp, which was appreciated. She also was flexible too with our appointment, which was also appreciated. She is very nice also and takes the time to listen to what the customer desires, and also asks for feedback throughout the visit. We didn't feel rushed either. She has a variety of options. Her nail shop is inside the building called Sola Salon. She rents a unit inside there, where there are many individual suites owned by other vendors. Small unit, but you get your privacy and one on one attention. Fair pricing also. Mom liked her nails (dip powder). Dawn accepts cash, check, or Zelle only. No credit/debit, venmo, or apple pay, etc, so be prepared to provide the aforementioned payment types. Will be visiting again when in need. read more

Dawn was amazing, this evening! I booked a last minute appointment for mani, pedi, and leg waxing! She was very talented and sweet! I really enjoyed the private room. After moving to Escondido 2 years ago I FINALLY found someone who is amazing! found Dong via yelp about a month ago. I just went in for my 3rd visit with her. I have diabetes so it's critical I get regular pedicures. Unfortunately my feet are also hypersensitive so it's a task I've always dreaded...until I found Dawn. She's speedy, does a great job, is easy to talk to (but comfortable to be in silence), and most importantly she is super gentle. I no longer have the extreme anxiety about getting my toes done that I've had at other places. I feel the same way about her manicures. I'm SO glad I found Dawn! She is extremely kind, gentle, a good conversationalist and knows what she is doing! I needed to take my acrylics off and I've always had a problem with one of my nails cracking. Even when I was getting fills done, sometimes it would crack with a different nail lady. She took my acrylics off and no splitting or cracking, whatsoever! I was prepared for it to happen and was in shock that it didn't. I guess she paid attention to detail and was gentle. I really appreciated her hearing me on this, as it has been very painful on the past. Very please with her service and I will definitely return to her. She is also VERY reasonably priced. I go back and forth getting my nails done because it's really hard finding someone good. I actually already had acrylics put on by another business (very disappointed and won't mention names) found this place by chance thanks to Yelp and made an apt. I was in and out within 30-45 minutes. She fixed my Gel Polish as well as my nails that were lifting and hands down I will be going here from Now on. Very sweet women and she did wonders on my nails. What can I say about Dawn? She's so talented and sweet! I found her by random when I was looking for a nail salon in the area. Since I go to school in San Marcos, I was in dire need of getting my nails fixed and the first shop I went to was too busy. I came across Dawn's salon on Yelp and decided to try it. I was a walk-in without realizing that you needed to make an appointment with her, and she was still able to take me! She only applied one coat of the cat-eye gel, so I'm not sure if that's why the brown never showed up. She also wasn't drying my nails properly, which is why my pinky nail is messed up in the photo. I even asked her if the color was brown, and she said yes. The whole appointment felt rushed, and the quality really wasn't great. The best part..... I was charged $85 for this. Update from response from owner: when I had brought up the nails not being fully dried nail tech said they were and when nail color was brought up I was told it was a brown.

I was personally hugged and told "sorry" for the incident, and you even stated that you would handle the situation accordingly. If you have the video, that's great, it will reflect his behavior exactly as I stated from the beginning. As a business owner, especially after having a loyal customer for years, your response here only shows a complete lack of professionalism.

I showed the nail tech an example and chose a brown cat-eye color, but I ended up with an ugly, dusty rose light pink instead. She only applied one coat of the cat-eye gel, so I'm not sure if that's why the brown never showed up. She also wasn't drying my nails properly, which is why my pinky nail is messed up in the photo. I even asked her if the color was brown, and she said yes. The whole appointment felt rushed, and the quality really wasn't great. The best part..... I was charged $85 for this. Update from response from owner: when I had brought up the nails not being fully dried nail tech said they were and when nail color was brought up I was told it was a brown.

I get regular acrylic fills & pedicures there, and it is always fast and affordable. All of the staff is friendly & does a great job with complicated designs, and simple ones too! They always have new trendy polish & chrome colors to try! I've tried everywhere in San Marcos but stuck with TM nails! The appointments are flexible, there is always good parking, the location is clean and bright. Hannah is my go to nail tech, and she is always friendly and fast! All of the staff is amazing though. Dawn is so sweet. She does great work and takes covid 19 precautions. She got me in same day. Prices are reasonable. She has a small shop and makes you feel comfortable. She always answers when you call. She knows and loves her profession. I highly recommend Dawn to everyone! read more
