Their hours are so frustrating. I have attempted twice now to come shop here and they are not open when they have listed hours as "open". I don't appreciate a business that wastes people's time. It's their responsibility to update there hours on all business platforms they are apart of. read more

I was beyond excited to find a good baby and maternity consignment store in Frederick! The store can be hard to spot since it's in a re-appropriated house instead of the usual storefront but we found it with the help of GPS (hint- look for the big silver factory or whatever it is). It could just be beginner's luck but I found exactly what I was looking for! I bought a mint condition wool peacoat, light fall sweater, and yoga pants for myself. For baby, I scored NIB Sperrys for $12 that are 3 times that price at Nordstrom or J Crew. The store is very well organized- the selection starts on your left with the maternity corner, followed by newborn clothing progressing up to toddler sizes. Head upstairs for big kid sizes and even a "juniors corner" where slimmer moms could easily find something for themselves as well. During my visit this week, Lucy's had plenty of Halloween costumes and even a few Christmas outfits ranging from red and green sleepers to fancy schmancy dresses and suits. I will definitely be checking back for Baby's first Christmas outfit! One drawback is that Lucy's does not have a fitting room or even mirrors around so you'll do better if you have an idea of what size you are in various maternity brands before going over. To me, the low prices and good condition made up for that, as well as the 7 day exchange policy (as long as you leave the store tag on). Although I cannot yet review the selling part of this business, I did go and check out the store in search of my 8yr and 14 yr old daughters summer clothes. The location was very easy to find, a bit off the beaten path, but such a pretty drive. It is located in a converted house, so make sure you are aware that it is not a store front. First off, they put a rack right outside with great summer options! I had a handful of items before I even went inside! Upon entering, the very nice cashier greeted me and asked if this was my first time here. Since it was, she immediately got up to show me around! Nice touch. On the first floor they have maternity and LOTS of baby clothes/toys/books/baby gear. Before heading upstairs, they have some junior sized dresses, both formalwear as well as regular summer dresses. Upstairs, they have everything else. Boys clothes/shoes (toddler to teens) as well as a huge section for the girls, again from toddler to teen sizes. The shoe selection could have been better, but that's ok. All the clothes were in great condition, great name brands. I always like finding Justice brands, as I never shop in the store because of their outrageous prices. So finding items for a few bucks including some shoes (found a pair of sandals for $7, I know they cost about $30 in the store) was a great find! For my teenager, they had LOTS of shorts, I'll have to go back to have her pick out more, before it gets hotter and they all fly off the shelves. When I was done (believe me, I had to control myself from grabbing more), I got two bags full of stuff and only spent $100! I couldn't have walked out of Justice with two outfits for $100, so this was a huge win for me! So if you like great clothes for a bargain, go check this place out. You won't regret it. Make sure you ask for coupons, I got a 20% off coupon for my next visit, which I will be using to buy my daughter a formal dress for the 8th grade dance. Well, this is one of the precious few kids consignment stores around Frederick... But the good news is that the prices are reasonable and the selection is pretty good. Everything I looked at was in good condition and most items were between $3-5. I did come across a fair number of dresses and raincoats at around $8 but I don't think that's unreasonable... I also was glad to see a small selection of dance wear... The only thing I was disappointed with was shoes- only three pairs of toddler size 8 or 9:(. But plenty of 6 and 7s. Guessing this particular establishment may be better for girls clothes (I took a peek into the room for boys and it was a lot smaller than the girls section)... But as a mom of a little girl, this will be my first stop before I buy new from Now on. I got six pieces of clothing plus one toy for $38. Not too shabby. read more

I'd like to give a higher review but after shopping here for a few years now and feeling the same way each time I had to make it lower. They do indeed have a wonderful selection of near perfect condition items however I've noticed the prices going up lately. I could buy new clothing for about the same prices. Also, the thing that really gets me is the snotty attitude I've encountered there more than just a few times. I'm a frequent customer and often feel like an inconvenience to them and their fancy store. read more

Came here looking for maternity clothes and was disappointed that I couldn't find anything. There were only two racks of maternity clothes. Despite that, we bought a couple of other baby items. The prices are reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a cute place and was quite crowded when as visited on a Saturday. Parking is limited. read more

Great spot for gently-used baby and children's items. I went in after a friend recommended the shop, and I am so happy to now know about Lucy's! On my first visit, the owner warmly greeted me and showed me around, told me how the shop works. There are two locations, I have been to both. Both stores are meticulously organized, clean, and easy to navigate. Huge selection of clothing from age 0-teen (and probably beyond). They even have a wonderful little corner dedicated to maternity wear, nursing bras, and literature. I used this location before my baby was born and loaded up on many adorable outfits and accessories for very reasonable prices. The staff is very discerning regarding what they will accept to consign, so everything in the store looks new and is on point with current trends and demands. Selection changes daily, so come often is there is something in particular you are searching for. read more
