She did such a great job helping me with a dress alteration and very quickly! Pricing was also great! Highly recommend!

This review is specifically for the laundromat side of the business. I have not recently been to…read moreany other laundromats in the area, so I have nothing against which to compare. But this Cudney's certainly impressed me. It was brightly lit and warm, and for a self-service laundromat, it was also very clean and well maintained. My mom has been to other laundromats in the area (beyond the Cudney's cleaners), and she likes this site much better - very few machines out of order (and when they are, they're marked), and she's never had a problem with close smelling off after being washed here (she has at others). It does seem to me that for a laundromat of this size, there weren't enough chairs for customers to sit. Also, I was not aware of a bathroom on site. I guess you have to walk next door to Stewart's?

This location also has a coin laundry attached to the building. My review only covers that area…read more Although the place was clean and the machines are new, a good amount of the machines are "Temporarily Out Of Service". And the ones that do work, look to be a bit pricey. The driers work great, but I noticed that it is common practice for people to throw their dryer sheets into the lint holders. After opening the lint holder to clean it out before my load, I took out 4 dryer sheets and around 4 layers of lint. Its obvious that this area isn't managed, and the people who use it are not versed in the operation of a dryer. Not their fault, i've lived with adults who don't know that these things have lint holders, anyways. I think this should be addressed, huge fire issue, but I'm no fire marshal, so we'll let them decide.

I had my first appointment early April, my wedding was mid July. During my first appointment Megan…read moreand I discussed what needed to be done to complete my dress to make it everything I would've wanted. She assured me she could handle the job and it would come out amazing. My second appointment came around in early May and she wound up cancelling because she needed "more time". Time for my third appoint at the end of May and cancels again, this time she's "sick". Fast forward to two weeks before my wedding the straps, length, and hips were done however, I was having buttons (16) be put on the back and draped sleeves (both in my contract) which still weren't on. I go back the week before my wedding (on a Thursday) and the buttons still are not on, and there is ONE sleeve pinned on. At this point I was already heated, to top it off, I was making my next appointment for the week OF my wedding and she couldn't even accommodate my work schedule meanwhile it was her fault that my dress wasn't done. So because she didn't accommodate my schedule, I made it for the day I was leaving for my wedding. I left in tears, I called her as soon as I left because it wasn't sitting right with me and I know her phone was in her hand and she couldn't even answer. I then sent her a message the day after my appointment (on a Friday) that the appointment needed to be changed to before I leave for the wedding. Well, she didn't answer me until SUNDAY. At this point it still was not convenient for me but I took what she offered anyways. I get there the day BEFORE I leave for my wedding and the buttons weren't even on and the sleeves looks hideous! I told her the sleeves needed to be fixed and she said "she didn't have time". She said "I didn't know you were getting buttons." I said "yeah ya did, we went over it at the first appointment" and pulled up my invoice which she said "sorry I must've deleted them on accident". I then had to wait another 30 minutes while the buttons got put on and instead of 16 I got 8 and I wasn't waiting there another minute. I told her I wanted my bill reduced for all the issues and she didn't budge. Megan is also horrible at communicating. Upset, disappointed, ashamed isn't the words. Needless to say, I'd NEVER recommend her to my worst enemy. At that point I was hopeless and didn't love my wedding dress like every bride should. Luckily, the night before I was leaving for my wedding I was able to find someone to fix Megan's disaster.

In this day and age when many businesses are taking advantage of clients by using the excuse of "pandemic" for subpar results, I was more than astounded and deeply grateful for Mr. Tom Nigro's resolution to our dispute in the cleaning of my white leather 911 Memorial coat. Mr. Nigro was above all, professional, knowledgeable of the leather cleaning process, sympathetic to my situation, and a good businessman. Although we politely agreed to disagree, I was utterly satisfied with the resolve and will be returning to do business at Spa Garment Care and encourage others to do the same. The cleaning of the reversible fur/leather coat--reasonable; the quality on the work to replace snap hooks to standard hooks of a fur coat was impeccable, price for work was reasonable. (Picture demonstrates an overall great cleaning job of a white leather ten years old.)
