Susan was great. She fit me in on a tight schedule (needed a suit altered in less than a week). She was patient and thorough and actually had the suit ready a day earlier than promised! Her prices were reasonable. Unfortunately I didn't have time to try the suit on when I picked it up. My bad. The pants fit perfectly. However the lining of the jacket sleeves was not shortened as much as the sleeve and and bunched up. A little thing. All in all, a good experience. read more

I tried to make an appointment today. Susan was very pleasant and responded quickly. Prices quoted were very reasonable. The business comments state "OPEN for all customers. If you are not vaccinated, you must wear a mask. Bring your Covid vaccination card if you are vaccinated." However, I was told the would not allow an unvaccinated person in her home even with a mask and negative covid test. I completely understand her right to refuse service, just disappointed and still searching for a seamstress/tailor. read more

Susan is a miracle worker. She completed some very difficult dress alterations (hemming 4-5 layers of petticoat, hemming two layers of dress with different lengths, removing netting from the underside of both hems and sewing them back on by hand, shortening the shoulder which was in a scalloped style, and taking in the side) for my prom and they came out perfectly. I can't even tell where the alterations were made, and the dress had a ton of delicate lace and intricate beading. I could not be more pleased with the outcome! Thank you Susan! read more
