When I walked in I asked him to be honest and let me know if he could repair and if it was worth fixing ! He was honest and a jokesters saying, "if I didn't return he could sell it for a good price". He stated the work would be completed the next day. He did an amazing job he reinforced each handle and reinforced the handles that were not damaged. Looking at the bag now you can't tell which one was broken. The price to repair was reasonable. I couldn't have gotten a new bag for the price he charged. I would recommend him and the business to anyone that needs leather repair. A true craftsman!

When I reiterated Max's cost estimate of $10.00 to Sandra, she feigned ignorance of why Max would quote a charge. She also wanted my credit card info in advance. When I quested that, she said that it was "store policy" Smelling a rat, I departed the store disgusted.

My dress was done very quickly but when I got it back home I noticed they had hung it up by the illusion straps only and not the separate straps it comes with specifically for hanging. The illusion straps are very delicate and thin and we're on the hanger all twisted. I'm surprised my dress wasn't ruined from a torn strap. Additionally there is a piece of lace that is torn on the bottom. Their staff are careless there.

The pairs ranged from the simple ($29) to the kind of expensive moccasins I would buy if I was rich, hip, and in some Brooklyn-based band that was being supported by my trust fund ($100+). So I walked away with my life, a pair of cozy mocs (no tax), and a complementary highlighter/pen combo to commemorate my shopping experience.
