Ludovic came in with just what we needed at the right time. We suffered a recent loss and needed to get some items organized and cleared out, and he was the perfect blend of efficiency and positive energy. He got quite a lot done in the time allotted, and was patient while we had to take care of certain arrangements. Ours was a collaborative effort, as we worked together on ideas for how to best go about things and he talked through decisions at every point. We never felt pressured to do anything but he provided valuable guidance and suggestions. Ultimately it put us in gear and on the path to having things organized during an extremely difficult time. You can tell this is someone who cares about the work that he does and the people he does it for. Ludovic spent 19.5 hours over two days organizing my house and another 2 hours on the third day to take the uhaul filled with trash to the dump then went with me to return it and take me home. He did a great job getting my house ready for our move and my husband and I can actually see our countertops again. Ludo did such a great job in organizing my space, I can't even believe it. I mean I thought someone might look at the mess in my storage unit and run! But I was able to get a hold of him, he happened to have time available the same day I called and voila! He arrived on time and got right to work. I left him to sort out things and he did it all without me having to do anything. I didn't have to purchase organizational products even though I offered. He said it wouldn't be necessary (which of course, I appreciated because that saves money!) So with a little time and elbow grease, Ludovic was able to remove everything, consolidate, and reorganize into a neat orderly space. I can get to my things again. My storage had been ransacked after a break in and I was having trouble getting to my things because of the mess created. Unfortunately, my experience was quite different than other reviewers. I normally don't leave reviews but I feel it's important in this case to share my experience. I hired Ludovic to help me organize my garage. I already had a lot of it organized in bins on gorilla racks and I had a system to how I store things by section but I had not had time to finish the organization process. The day started off with Ludovic arriving almost an hour late (red flag #1). It wasn't a problem but it threw the timing of the day off. I went over specifically what I had done already and what I still needed and I could tell he was not listening because he was too busy interrupting (red flag #2). He insisted he had to work the first few hours completely alone, and I trusted his process (red flag #3). With that in mind I told him I would be unavailable due to a work call until 12:30. He came into the house during my call and interrupted me but then remembered I had told him I was unavailable and said he had work he could still do (red flag #4). When I came out he had reorganized shelves I told him were already working for me and in a completely illogical manner (red flag #5). He had actually managed to fit LESS on the shelves than what I had previously. He had unpacked bins that were already packed or a particular purpose. For example, he unpacked my camping bin and put its contents in different piles even though the point of the bin is to keep all of my camping gear together to grab and go. All of this because he had not listened to a single thing I had gone over with him since he was rushing because he was so late. I had to take over and undo pretty much everything he had done. When I suggested we adjust racks to optimize them for my particular bin sizes he said it couldn't be done and he didn't know how to adjust basic garage gorilla racks sold in almost every big box store -- mine are from Costco (red flag #6). When I grabbed my tools and started to adjust them myself, only then did he start helping. As I was sorting through the disaster he created in my driveway, he was arbitrarily rushing to put things back on shelves again with no mind to what I had told him I wanted (red flag #7). He was extremely condescending (red flag #8), for example, acting shocked each time I put something in the discard pile even though I had already told him I wanted to get rid of a lot. Meanwhile, he had put multiple items back on the shelves that I had told him were not staying (red flag #9). At one point, he literally threw a glass case, then acted surprised when it shattered and then proceeded to claim it was already broken after we literally heard it shatter (red flag #10). I knew then he had to go. Four hours in, I asked him to leave. He became angry about having driven a long way and having an 8-hour minimum, which he never mentioned. He knew he was late, he knew it wasn't working, yet he demanded a full 8 hours of pay. He made no attempt to mitigate the damage. I was honestly scared for my safety by this point and paid him his full rate just to get him to leave my property. It was the most unsettling experience I've ever had with any contractor I've hired. After he left, I completed the organization myself and found additional items he broke and never mentioned. I'm not sure why my experience was so different than other reviewers. Perhaps if you have no prior organization in place, he can create his own system, but he absolutely cannot follow instructions if you're looking for someone to work with something you have in mind. read more

I had time off work before starting a new job, and I needed someone to help me organize our family's garage and home office right away. Ludo was responsive and professional. After discussing my situation over the phone, he came to my home, took a look at our messy garage and then was able to work independently, putting things where it made sense and using items I already had to ensure that everything that mattered to me had a home and can be seen.
