A car in front of me kicked up a rock that flew into my windshield, cracking it from the side. I called several places to get quotes and Lue's was the most reasonable -- more than $100 less than other places and he offered next day morning service. We just purchase a Van and the lining around the window was in really bad shape. Water leaks on the dash. Yesterday I went to a local place in town(Patterson) asked how much for new seal? Was told we would have to go out to Turlock and we should replace the whole window cause while removing the seal the window could break. Ok tried another place around the corner from that one. It took my number and pictures said his brother would call me with a quote in 30 mins. Ha ha never hear from that guy. I call Lue he answered within a few rings gave me a good price for repair of the seal and replacement of a new window. The best part he comes to you. He was able to put us on his schedule for this morning. When he got to our house he was very friendly and got right to work. He did a great job on the widow. Amazing job! They replaced my windshield for $250 in the parking lot while I was at work. It only took about 30 minutes and the results are fantastic. This is an update to a previous comment that should have been updated approx. 8 months ago ? Lue is a very nice personal friendly guy. The problem I had was I think he was out of his element when he replaced the rear windows and weather strip on my street rod because it takes some finessing to get every thing just perfect, it's not just a standard factory bolt in. So the job was not done to my satisfaction, Lue offered to redo the work to make it right but I decided not. I requested a partial refund and Lue had no problem returning the money. In closing I would have no problem having Lue work on any of my stock vehicles. read more

Lou was very friendly but not very dependable he replaced two rear windows in my car but the glass was too thick and the windows would not go up and down so he had to order thinner glass he finally got back with me after waiting a few weeks and then after he was done putting in the new windows they were scratched he said he would order new windows and call me for an appointment to come back and replace them he never called never came back unfortunately I had already paid him. I called Lue's this morning on the recommendation of an entirely different business that said "give him a call. He's a great guy" and promised that I'd get a fair price. I had been calling around for quotes on rear windows for my 2014 Chrysler minivan all morning. Lue quotes me hundreds of dollars below the competition and showed up at my house about 3 hours later to promptly change out the window. He's been doing this for a while and used to do this work for a big well-known mobile mobile glass company and is now out doing it on his own and really making a name for himself in the industry. I would highly recommend Lue's auto glass to anybody anytime!! I reached out to them about a week ago and asked if they would be able to install a 1968 Cadillac Deville (project car) windshield and he replied ,"Of Course." I had called 3 other companies and all 3 were not able to help me out. Lue quoted me over the phone after he ordered the windshield (which was an awesome price for glass and install) and let me know it should arrive in a week tops. He let me know that the windshield had arrived and he can install it the next day. I was at work when the guys arrived to install the windshield, but he sent progress photos and videos as the windshield was replaced. I had a great experience working with Lue. I called a few minutes before they opened @ 8:00a and got a vm. I didn't leave a message and tried calling other shops to get this work completed asap. I got a call back from Lue asking if I had tried to call and he quoted me a lower price then anyone around, and this was for mobile service. He didn't have my windshield in stock but said he could get it by 10am. He was here @ 10:30am and had the new windshield in by 11:30am. He was friendly and quick and cost effective.
