I highly suggest you stay away from this place. If you are like me and don't mind paying top dollar for premium service. But this place scammed me. Long story short my trucks electrical system went haywire a week ago. Rather than coming back and dealing with the headaches there I decided to go to Best Buy and have the techs troubleshoot the issue. I already had an idea it was the stereo and how it was wired up. I knew because after the installation I started having all types of electrical issues. Best Buy techs found that the stinger module used was faulty and caused all the electrical problems. They told me they would install my new head unit for $100 even though I had already taken the whole dash apart and everything was done. I just was missing the right wiring harness, new head unit came with a back up cam. I asked him to plug in the camera and just let it hang under the dash so I could route it later. He tried to charge me an extra hundred dollars for that. I should've told him to shove it up his ass. I'll go somewhere else, but he had already been in the truck for about 10 minutes. If i can leave 0 stars i would...... this place is absolutely horrible they messed up all my wiring for my electrical sockets left holes in me dash and cut the wiring for my cigarette lighter and left it all empty. They left old wiring in from old speakers tried to scam me for an extra 375 for a whole new stereo headunit and lied about my original one being fried, i would highly not recommend going here for stereo installation or any work at all frankly. A week ago, I got my replacement car, due to the Volkswagen diesel emissions scandal and buy back. I can't bring this car to match that one but I'm trying to fix a couple of things, including the car audio, so that I can listen to my own music. I came here after trips to local Best Buy locations and thinking about going to Fry's in Fremont. Kashif has been around the car audio business for a while. Visiting before Christmas was a bit nuts. He mentioned that there was a significant head unit arriving this week, so I returned to find that it was Sony, a brand I don't like all that well. He happened to have a Pioneer head unit already in stock, grrrr, and he just needed to order the face plate and other bits to make it look as though it belonged in my dashboard. With a $50 deposit, he put the head unit aside and ordered two different kits from Metra to make it work. Tomorrow, they should have everything and be able to install it. Today, Thursday, they were running a bit behind due to a problem with their tint-cutting machine. I got a call that the installation kit had arrived and to be there at 2:30 p.m. instead of 2:00. I arrived a little early and things were a bit chaotic. It seems that it was around 4:00 p.m. when my car was started and after dark when it was finished. The Pioneer AVH-X2800BS looks as though it belongs in the dashboard and the microphone for the Bluetooth phone calls and Siri Eyes Free was routed so that it isn't hanging on a sun visor or another vulnerable location. I asked that the AUX and USB ports that are in the center console would be used and I haven't verified those but given the rest of the installation, I'm betting that they work just fine. The installer seemed to go out of his way to make it an exceptional installation, which was expected given the price. I could have gone to Best Buy, got a slightly cheaper price, and complained about the installation for the rest of the time I have the car. The DVD/video part that is supposed to work while stopped doesn't. It was looking for a signal that the emergency brake was enabled and got nothing. It may not seem like a big deal, but, as a photographer, I had hoped to be able to view some photos and clips just after taking them, without involving importing them into the computer. Hopefully, this can be rectified without an ugly situation. read more

I went to this business for a quote to have my windows on my car done on a rare weekday off on July 8th. The business hours are listed at 8:30am , so I arrive just after 9 and find a group of people waiting outside. The business' open sign was on but door was locked and roll up door was shut. They told me that had been waiting already. At about 9:15 , an employee or maybe the owner showed up to open the place up. At this time I decided to not even bother with a quote. If I would have had an appointment at the business and it wasn't opened I would have been furious. Could have been a one off event but it was enough to seek another option for my tinting job. I am glad that a lot of you had a great experience with kashif. But in my case I had a very bad experience. I purchase a stereo and an antena and the bad installation starts with the antena, I can not listen to the local stations, I can not make a phone call using bluethoot because the receptor can not here me and I have 2 speakers only in my truck but they only connect one. There is more, my dashboard ligths, tail ligth and the blinker stopped working. I could not drive at nigth time. End it up taking it to touota dealer got charge $830.00 to get all the ligths fix. I have the receipt from toyota of what I paid. I am afraid to take it back at Extreme to get the antenna fix and the bluetooth. Any suggestion???? Anybody?? read more
