Today I received service from Quality Auto Glass and everything went smooth and very fast. It's really a relief to have this completed. I have a new car and while driving on the freeway a rock hit my window. I didn't see anything until the next day. There was a chip down in the corner of my windshield and a crack that went from the corner all the way to middle of my windshield. What a f***** up situation for me, I just got my car last month. My deductible is way too high so I have to pay out of pocket. I couldn't believe the audacity of some places that sent me quotes. Some asked what my deductible was even though I let them know from the beginning I can't use my insurance. I ended up letting these places know why I can't use my insurance, I have a $1000 deductible. Then the responses from some places literally ranged from around $250-$1000. I then was told by some it is an extra charge because I need the window to be calibrated. So the amounts were about $200 more. I was shocked at the one that quoted me $1000. How can they get away with charging people so much when it's clear they don't have to charge that much? Anyways I felt like Quality Auto Glass was the best choice for me. There was good communication and they come to your place to fix the window. The technicians that came to fix my car was very friendly and explained that it's guaranteed, so if anything goes wrong to just contact them. He gave me a business card and said the receipt will be emailed to me. I kind of feel like I should've got paperwork right then and there after they finished the service but maybe that's just me not used to the way people do things all online or paperless these days. I read through past reviews and see almost all of them are great and there weren't many customers complaining of the service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They also operate As Modesto Windshield Replacement with a different phone number but the person who set up my appointment was using the phone number listed for this company. I have had several issues with the quality of their work and all attempts at communication to get them resolved have failed. First, the technician was almost 3 hours late to my appointment. Second, the rubber strip he cut to fit my new windshield does not fit properly, it has gaps on either end and bits of glue sticking out. I saw it the next day and texted the person at 209-362-6670 about it, they blew me off and said there was only a lifetime warranty against leaks. Now 2 months later, my windshield has developed several leaks from the recent storms and when I reached out to the same number to get them fixed, he responded at first then ghosted me. I have tried to contact by email and phone on their Modesto Windshield Repair website, also no response. They do not do good work and they will not honor their warranty. Save yourself the headache, just spend a little bit more and get the job done right at a reputable business and not these scam artists! read more

We are making our drive up to Washington while passing Stockton and of course a big rock chipped our front windshield! They picked up very quickly and told me their pricing was $79 but with the Yelp check in it was $59 total.
