The following was written by my Father and his experience with Lowest Price Auto Glass: ROCK CHIP REPAIR BEWARE I bought a new vehicle for my son. On the drive home I got a rock chip on the driver side, head high. I called Lowest Price Glass. The man on the phone said yes, no problem he could repair it for $75 min. I called another business and was told to leave a message and make an appointment. I drove to the glass shop and started to talk to the gentleman about the repair. A woman came out and took over. He stepped away and she said $75 + tax ("to put resin in"). I asked about guarantee or warranty. She said "no warranty" and that it can still crack after the resin. I asked about the visual and told that it might be noticeable. In a hurry, I agreed and came back about 30 min later. The woman was right there waiting. I looked at the repair, and it was still the same chip. Looked the same (see photo after). I asked is that it? I was told "we put in resin" that's it. I was pissed! I was told to walk around the building to the front office for paperwork. I laid down $80 before the bill. I was handed 4 page bill and told to sign, I said no need just give me my copy. She said she would call the police if I didn't sign and dialed the phone. I scribbled on first page, she said sign the last page. Last page stated "resin" put into crack, crack won't disappear. I was never shown that document. I asked to talk to the owner and was told he was out of the country and refused to give me his name. No warranty, same rock chip gouge. Why would you spend any amount. I talked to other glass shops and was told that was not the correct way. Now, it's not repairable. Run, don't walk away! I question why so many "5" star reviews. read more

They are lowest price for a reason. They dont replace the glass with OEM glass and they dont know any thing about front camera sensor calibration after the replacement. I took my Acura MDX for a broken windshield replacement. They gave me a quote over the phone. I got it replaced with them. But I after replacement I realized that lane keep assist, cruise control, collision detection all these features stopped working. Now the lady on the shop who was very polite when I gave them the business has suddenly turned into a school teacher and treating me as her student, telling me how bad it is to call them daily for this issue and and calling daily is not going to change anything. They need to wait for their owner to come and take decision on how to handle my case. When I told its a safety risk for me and I can not continue to drive the car with these safety issues, what if suddenly the sensor misbehaves and applies sudden break sensing a false collision, it can get me into a crash, she is telling me why you are not going to the dealership to get these issues checked. Yes mam I should have gone to the dealership at the first place to get the windshield replaced rather than coming to the lowest price shop, my bad. After 2 weeks of chasing them finally the lady told me today that we will not do anything as we are not responsible for any security feature issues after replacement. To me it feels like a mechanic changing your engine but never hooking the wiring back up and saying "not my problem." I have attached the Honda/Acura official statement on windshield replacement which clearly says front camera based safety features will not work if Aftermarket glass is used instead of OEM glass. I am also attaching invoice from Lowest price auto glass, which clearly mentions the safety features like Collision prevention, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist etc. of the car that should be functioning after the replacement. None of them are working after the replacement and they said they are not responsible for those safety features. If you still decide to go to them then make sure you ask for OEM glass and check all safety features before you sign their invoice for payment. I made the mistake of trusting them and they simply ripped me off $500. read more

My daughter's car was broken into and was left with a shattered passenger door window. The car was left with shattered glass everywhere. When I called to get an estimate I spoke to Aysun. She was informatative and very compassionate. The price was very competitive and far more affordable than the other shops and National glass repair companies. Aysun said she would order the window and to have my daughter at the shop by 10 when the replacement window got there. As promised my daughter arrived at 10 and was on her way home with a new window in less than an hour! Go Somewhere Else. They didn't seal my windows correctly, had to go back several times to get it fixed and they still leaked when it rained. When I went to get it fixed, he only caulked the exact spot it leaked on the inside and refused to go around the outside of the window or any other part. They ruined interior of my car and tried to gaslight me about it. Multiple issues with them blaming me for the model of car I have for poor installation. It's not worth it. The name says it all. I have called around for windshiled replacement in San joaquin County. Im from manteca, and they quoted me an unbelievable price. I just had to take the deal. Denise probably is the nicest, sweetest lady you will ever meet, but my experience has not been ideal. I have to wait another extra hour and half due to the windshield cracking during transport to the facility. Which I didnt mind much as I had plan a whole day including a mishap such as this, So I recommend to give it atleast half a day just incase something like this happen. I recommended my daughter take her mini cooper here to get her windshield done. We've got all of our current fleets windshields replaced here. After they replaced the windshield her side moldings flew off on the freeway. I immediately tried to call them on Saturday but they were closed. No big deal I had faith they would take care of us. Upon further inspection of the car I could clearly see the moldings were broken because there were screws with the broken pieces of plastic still screwed on to the car. I told my daughter don't worry they will fix it for us the lady down there is very nice. I called in on Monday to let them know what happened and they said its not under their standard warranty. I really couldn't believe it. The only time you take those moldings off is to replace the windshield, and the windshield being replaced was the original......It's clear to me someone forgot to remove the screws when they took of the trim pieces and broke them off. I was looking for them to simply take ownership and fix it, but unfortunately they turned our experience into a one star review. I Will never spend my hard earned money here again.
