So recently had a scare with what had the potential to be testicular cancer and after going to Polak imaging center that was put to bed. It turns out that I more than likely injured myself after moving 3500 lbs. of flagstone into my back yard. I'm not sure if it's just me but having any kind of work done with the boys can be a little unnerving and uncomfortable but Dr. Dardashti was very supportive, communicative and reassuring that I am on the mend. After seeing some horrific reviews elsewhere I was super grateful to have found his office. Now there are restaurants and pubs that I would rate higher than 5 (places I like to go) if I could but the doctor and his staff were all a solid 5. Thanks again Dr. Dardashti

In today's IN & OUT service arena, a lot is lost in medical care. Excellent diagnosis and treatment takes time. Some of which needs to be discovered with conversation about "you." Dr. S. takes the time and his first question is, How are you, not what insurance do you have? His office is usually busy but with several generations of Perdo patients who know the well kept secret of his mature, responsible and nurturing care. His staff is busy but professional. If something is urgent but not an emergency talk to them. They won't move you to to first in line but will certainly work you in with reason. Not a 2 month out appointment. They offer medical services to the public, the fight stuff is just a side thing. When you call in, make an appointment to get your exams done. You will be dealing with Rose, she is very direct and knows what she's doing, she's been doing it a long time. All you will need to bring in is your id and your money, they have all of the forms you will need for basically any state. They will set up eye exams, ekg, blood work, physicals, and Cat scan, but you'll need to go to another location to get the cat scan done. After you fill out the forms, you will be given some forms with directions to another building for your other exams, which all go relatively fast. You get them filled out, come back and do your physical, which will be the only exam you do in that actual office. Dr Gluckman will perform it, it will include some memory tests. You pay, and go on your way. Rose can fax the athletic commission your paper work, but can also fax to you for your own records. Side note, not open on weekends.

Then overtime, he placed the fistula in my arm. When there were complications with my fistula, he placed a collagen graft. If you times I had cellulitis near the access, and Dr. Litwinski did his thing and was able to save my access. He's a wonderful doctor that has taken care of both my dad and I. he's smart and excellent at his profession. He's kind, caring, and talks with his patients rather than down to! In my opinion, some doctors are intimidating and a little scary, but Dr Litwinski is cool and by far my favorite doctor!

I am a 36yo black female and was referred to Dr. Kim due to a mass on my liver back in May of this…read moreyear. The appt was very quick. Just flipping through my paper work, no scans or xrays were included in the paper work, he immediately started throwing out Cancer or tumor. How insensitive. From the 5 mins that I was in the room with Dr. Kim, he determined I had cancer or a tumor, scheduled a CT $235 OOP and wanted to see me in 2 weeks to do an Endoscopic procedure and rushed out. Since I was in the process of donating my kidney, I had already taken CT scans which he had the results on but I figured bc of the time in between appointments I went. They scheduled the endoscopy to be scheduled before the results would get back from his CT, told me I would have to pay over $800 out of pocket. Which I was willing to pay bc "cancer". My insurance denied the service at first, deeming it unnecessary. RED FLAG. They called me over 5x from leaving the office to the scheduled endoscopy about 10 days later. When talking to a friend who recently over came liver cancer, she asked why endoscopy? How can they see your liver through your stomach? That made me question Dr. Kim. Apparently they went back to my insurance with another reason and they insurance approved the procedure. Which also piqued my curiosity. Before I got a chance to call him to ask him about the procedure, I got a call first reminding me about the procedure and the $800 out of pocket. I asked the receptionist if she knew why I had to get the procedure done, she said to look in my stomach and take polyps. RED FLAG. I asked why are you taking anything from my stomach if I came for my liver? She said that's what the doctor ordered. I said well I am paying $800 out of pocket for a procedure that has nothing to do with why I came. She said I will have to speak to the doctor. I asked when he was available to give me a call, she said he wouldn't be available to call before the procedure. RED FLAG. Can he email? No. RED FLAG. She said I would have to make another in office visit and scheduled it for 2 days after the procedure. She had the nerve to ask if I was still coming in for the endoscopy Monday. No! Not before I get answers on why, but thinking back to the 5 min office visit prior that cost me $160. I eventually cancelled that appt. This office is a waste of time and money. They're clearly ripping insurance for everything. BTW went to another Gastro, we had a telemed appt. He had the same information/paperwork Dr. Kim had. During the conversation he called my PCP and got my ultra sound results from them. It's not cancer! It's just a benign growth that is common in women who take birth control and he will monitor the size every 6 months just to be on top of it.
