I'm young and stumbled across some growing thyroid nodules that my drs and I have been monitoring for years- it's been such a hassle to find a good endocrine dr.... my last one told me to leave and he couldn't help me. My mom just had her thyroid removed so I really felt the need to monitor mine. After my last Ultrasound I was in a panic thinking the worst.....I called so many and finally stumbled across dr Olsen- they were able to get me in way sooner than thought. Him and his nurse were ON it.... he literally showed up with my records I sent them the day before and had notes on everything. He sat down with me and ACTUALLY listened, was not rushed at all and took his time to answer my huge list of questions, reassure me on the workings of a thyroid and even took me to a mirror and showed me what he saw.... for peace of mind he had me get an fna- Who was done by another incredible referral. Litrally a day after the fna he called me early in the morning and his first words were Lauren, good news..... thank you- finally someone who knows people panic... Dr. Hadikin has been my doctor for over a year and I couldn't be more satisfied…read more He listens to me and my issues. He's extremely emphatic and friendly. There are too many doctors who have lost their humanity and compassion for their patients. Dr. Hadikin is not one of those doctors. I also appreciate the fact that he offers email. I prefer to email certain things rather than call the office and just pray the message is presented to the doctor in the same way I presented it to the staff member who answered the phone. I came to Dr. Hadikin over a year ago not sure how to describe how I felt. There wasn't a clear description I could give for everything that was going on with me. Dr. Hadikin took the time to listen and offer suggestions and help. I can even begin to describe how good it feels to be heard by a doctor who cares and takes the time to listen. I do have a tendency to be chatty and he still listens. I am not always concise in describing my issues, especially when I'm tired, so I appreciate the time Dr. Hadikin gives me to describe how I feel. I couldn't have asked for a more genuinely kind doctor who clearly has a big heart in addition to his doctorate.

I was so disappointed when Dr. Dan moved to NY, but that disappointment was short-lived. Dr. Hadikin is kind, caring, compassionate, sweet, funny, charming (am I gushing now?) and more! He is very knowledgeable and always up on the latest treatments and diagnoses. His appointments never feel rushed as he ensures that we've covered everything that concerns me at that moment. He is prompt about returning phone calls and emails, which means a great deal to me. He is 100% non-judgmental and completely LGBT-friendly. Yes, Pacific Oaks is an extremely busy office, but once I'm in the exam room with Dr. Hadikin or one of his nurses, I feel like I'm getting the care and attention of a small, single-physician office. It usually takes over a month to get into my doctor and I would have to get fresh blood work from my doctor because apparently, they do not refer you for blood work before your first appointment. There was also something else I needed to bring for my first appointment but by then I had stopped listening.

He's still an awesome doctor). I have been a patient of Dr. Malouf a little over two years now, after my work insurance changed & then after being laid off while on leave after being injured. Luckily I was able to carry him over and am blessed to still be able to see him. I still thank my aunt who used to be an RN and had worked the same hospital he had been at years ago for referring me to him. I am not a fan of going to the doctors, AT ALL! Especially, after finding out online, after a year, seeing my previous one, that my most recent nd long term doctor was on probation and how he pretty much decided after taking cash for services, that he was no longer going to handle my care, in the middle of it. With zero warning. Even though I was still technically under his care. This is where a good doctor definitely outshines a crappy doctor! Dr. Malouf on the other hand, has been nothing but patient, accessible, kind and friendly, which for me, means the world. Some of us have a very hard time talking about our health and vulnerabilities. While he will take the time to listen, he will also give pretty sound advice and recommendations if needed. He will treat you with respect. His office staff is great. There are times they are overbooked or busy and you might be rushed through or asked to follow up with another appointment for any secondary diagnosis due to work load, but that doesn't mean he will not follow up, nor respond to your calls or messages. He is the first doctor I have ever had that didn't make me wait a week or more for an answer to a question or concern or for important paperwork to be handled. If I needed a form filled out or anything else, he or another doctor in the group he is with at my home location were quick to help out if he were not available to do it himself. I highly recommend him.

When I come to be checked for my overall well-being, she's pretty thorough in asking questions and checking me and any symptoms. She's calm and easy-to-approach. Staff is nice and respectful, too btw. My problem is the waiting time. It's better to come at the time you're told in the text message, not earlier. I was seen by my doctor 30 minutes after the actual appointment time and had to wait for the nurse to come back in the room for my paperwork for 5-10 minutes. This is the longest wait time I've had for an appointment.
