When the Cabinet Depot delivered the cabinets into into my house, the quality, the efficiency of design and the smell of the fresh cut wood made me jump for joy! Ed and his team are…read morenice guys, but my bathroom remodel turned out to be a disaster that ended up costing me an additional $5000. The plumbing was done incorrectly and had been leaking under my house for a year. I've just sold my home and this was discovered by the inspector. Ed came out and took a look, said there was no leak, but there was definitely a leak inside the wall (I saw the photos). It cost me $5000 to the buyer. Obviously I'm not happy about this. I think if the team had pulled permits, this could have been avoided (the work would have been done correctly). There were lots of other more minor issues with the work - but nonetheless reflective of the quality of the build and all in all, not worth the extra money I had to pay out of pocket. If I could do it over, I would have hired a contractor willing to pull permits. That's a red flag I should have paid attention to.
