We got six to eight quotes to get our master bathroom completely redone and ended up going with EKB due to Tim's attention to detail during the initial meeting, patience, consistent (but not too much) following up, and professionalism. We stopped by their showroom about three to four times to pick out the tile, countertop, cabinets, etc. and each time Tim was very accommodating and patient. He assisted but was not overbearing at all in terms of helping us choose what would look best and gave some great tips and points. Our master bathroom was more than just a facelift, we removed a closet, extended the bathroom, fixed a leak, moved some plumbing and electrical, etc. Each crew member we interacted with was extremely professional, did the work quickly and professionally, and Sam the foreman was helpful in answering all of our questions. EKAB did a great job on our small bathroom remodel. They replaced the cabinet, the countertop, the sink, the faucet, and the mirror and medicine cabinet above it.The only issue we had was during the final step, installation of the vanity mirror over the new cabinet/counter. The first install was perfect except the glass had a small imperfection in it that could not be repaired. So completion of the job took another, unplanned day. Removal of the first mirror left pretty significant damage to the wall behind it but it was covered by the new mirror, which was slightly non-flush with the edge of the counter. However I don't think anyone will ever notice that but me. read more

Elegant has done a few projects for our parents, and were recommended when it was time for us to do a remodel at our house. We have a 1950s home that was very segmented and wanted to move to an open concept as our family has grown. This included knocking out a wall, adding a reinforced header, and complete makeover of the kitchen, dining, and living areas. We reached out to Gilbert who was very responsive, and he brought his team of Tim and Hanna to our house to review that same week. Within a week from there we had a working quote and scope. We started pretty quickly after that. The negotiation/contracting process was smooth. They're very accommodating and definitely know what they're doing. We had a couple wish list items we couldn't quite afford, and they came up with some great and more cost effective solutions to get the end result we wanted without breaking the bank. The main points you should take away from our experience: - They are incredibly responsive. Text, Call, doesn't matter. They always got back to us within an hour and often times instantly. With a big project like this they always gave us peace of mind. - They move quick. If you get them what they need and stay out of their way, these guys fly. They quoted us 8 weeks and were done in about 4.5 weeks. This was incredible as we had to move out for the remodel, so us and our 3 kids (all under 5) were ready to be home! - They came in right on budget. The estimate was solid from the jump. In comparison to other options their pricing is slightly higher but certainly fair. I'd rather have that than an underquoted project with a ton of change orders. - The whole team is incredibly nice, great customer service. Shoutout to Hanna in particular who went out of his way to fix little odds and ends and make recommendations about things we should fix in our ageing home while we were doing the remodel. Some, he took the liberty of fixing himself and they didn't nickel and dime us on small things. Hanna truly cares about making things safe and long lasting, we felt he treated our home as his own. - We had a couple minor things to clean up after the fact. A lot of companies will simply move on once they've been paid. Elegant came back right away and fixed the minor stuff no questions asked. We previously worked with Elegant Kitchens & Bath (EKB) for a bathroom remodel and kitchen remodel, so we definitely thought of them when we were considering a Living Room remodel. We met with Gilbert and Emmy who scheduled Wes to meet with us for an initial consult to review the existing living space and discuss our design ideas, wants and needs. Wes worked with us on our tight timeframe and made adjustments to fit our schedule. Hanna and his crew were dispatched promptly. They installed new porcelain tile flooring, recessed lighting, demoed the old fireplace (including hearth and mantel) and installed new stack stone and mantle. New paint was applied in the Living Room, Entryway and Hallway. Hanna did a great job customizing/fitting acoustic panels behind the TV (he installed supports to mount the TV as well). (I have a tough schedule) Was very friendly with my wife and son during the estimate. Received the quote within a few days. Hammered away at some details before signing the contract.
