The other one is antibiotic happy (prescribed me antibiotics for chronic migraines and then said that allergies were causing my migraines without any other symptoms pointing to migraines as well as told me that allergies were the reason my lymph nodes and tonsils were chronically swollen for 3 years but then I saw an ENT in Richmond that told me they were the worst case of infection he's ever seen and I suffered from sleep apnea for 3 years because of it.) He has a doctorate degree and did an excellent in office removal of a benign lump in my abdomen which saved me lots of out of pocket $$$ if done outpatient surgery. He also recommend a colonoscopy for some chronic symptoms I was again having problems with and it turned out to be CANCER. He does treat anxiety/depression within the allowable amounts for those suffering from the conditions and if someone needs help beyond their care then they need to see a specialist...called a psychiatrist. Family Doctors are like General Surgeons of care they treat a variety of illnesses and are not specialized in one area. If care is not treatable at their level they will refer you to specialist. I trust these doctors.

They offer no flexibility in their appointment policies nor any standardized appt reminder process. Don't even come close to missing an appointment or they'll try to hit you with a $50 missed appointment fee, which is in itself an aggregrious sum. It doesn't matter if you are proactive enough to call to let them know you'll be late or to reschedule. In other words, if you work for a living in any role that requires you to make adjustments to personal appointments, Dr. Zindel's office is NOT the place for you.

My loved one was supposed to have a "safe discharge." She didn't get that. She was released without anyone being notified. Imagine having someone you care about "out there" in Virginia, but you have no idea where. If you care about someone, don't send them to this facility. Having a plan and being the point of contact isn't enough.
