Ok, I'll start with the pros: It was easy to make an appointment at Northpark, everyone seemed…read morefriendly and welcoming at first, and Dr. Andrew Chadbourn has beautiful blue eyes. I got a crown and a cleaning, and I'm very happy with my crown (so far). The cons, however, are... - They wrote down my birthday incorrectly, which at first was hilarious because I was flattered that they thought I was 18 yo. But then I was concerned that they wrote down the month, day AND year incorrectly. - After receiving my Novocain injection before applying my new crown, the Dr. left the room to let it set in. Several minutes later, I got up and looked around to give the hint like "hey, I'm still in here, let's get this show on the road". FFwd to 40+ freakin minutes later! The Dr. returned and said there was an emergency, which is understandable, but someone could have told me while I waited impatiently, instead of just blinking at me when I poked me head out of the room. - After paying, I asked the receptionist if I could have a toothbrush... and she said no! Even though they just got hundreds of dollars out of my new crown, they couldn't spare a toothbrush (only after I got a cleaning, she said). Jeez. - When I still did end up coming back for a cleaning (and finally my toothbrush hehe), the dental assistant scraped my teeth SO aggressively that I asked her to stop. Oof. TL;DR My teeth are clean and my crown is holding up, but I experienced some really bizarre service!

I was blown away by the team, the care and genuine compassion from the team at Woodland Family Dentistry. From Patti at the front desk, to tech Suzie to Dr Dewolf Felices, I really couldn't believe how comfortable I felt there. It truly feels like a small close knit practice that genuinely cares about all of their patients and wants the best for them. I have NEVER felt so strongly about writing a review about really anything that is how happy and pleased I have been with my experience here.

This was, without question, the worst experience I have ever had at a dental office…read more This was my first visit, and I was there for routine X-rays before a cleaning. The individual taking the X-rays was extremely rough throughout the procedure. The bite block was repeatedly jammed and forced into my mouth, causing significant discomfort. In addition, I do not believe the sensor was properly covered by the protective barrier because I could feel every sharp edge of the sensor against the floor of my mouth. What was most concerning was that instead of carefully removing the entire bite block assembly, the sensor cable was repeatedly pulled out of my mouth. The experience became so painful and unprofessional that I got up and left before the appointment could be completed. I expect that my insurance will not be billed for a cleaning that was never performed. I will be contacting my insurance company to file a complaint, as well as submitting a complaint to the Minnesota Board of Dentistry. There is absolutely no reason a patient should leave an X-ray appointment in pain. I am now dealing with a cut on the floor of my mouth as a result of how this procedure was handled
