The icing was yummy without being super sweet. While both cupcakes were delicious, of the two my favorite was the red velvet cheesecake. It was unique and melt in your mouth delicious. I ordered a custom cake weeks in advance and drove nearly an hour to pick it up the day of her party. When I arrived, the cake was already cracked. I waited while it was repaired, but after driving home I discovered it was actually in worse condition than when I left. With a Sweet 16 party happening that evening, there was no time to go back and start over. Thankfully another local bakery stepped in at the last minute and repaired the cake so it could still be used for the celebration. They didn't have to do that, but they did -- and I'm incredibly grateful. The original bakery did refund the cake, which I appreciate. However, they declined to reimburse the additional repair cost that was required to salvage the cake in time for the party. When I followed up privately to ask if that portion could be reconsidered, the owner stopped responding to my messages. Milestone birthdays only happen once, and this cake had been ordered weeks in advance. Based on this experience, I would encourage customers to think twice before relying on this business for an important celebration. Huge thanks again to the local bakery that stepped in and helped save my daughter's Sweet 16. ETA: Now that the owner has chimed in, I realize I should have mentioned that the offer to repair the cake was impossible because of the time frame. I scheduled pick up for noon, but didn't arrive home and discover the problem until nearly 2:00. As a single parent, who had a child to pick up from school, and a 6:00 party to host, making another 2 hour round trip drive was impossible.

So safe to say the cake itself was bad. We would have been better going to fresh market or sams. Now the Embellishments and decor was so out dated and it had no pop nor anything extravagant look. Mind you I paid $242 because I wanted a show stopper cake for my sons 1st bday. I was extremely disappointed with not only the quality of cake but beyond disappointed with the art work. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Nice people but it takes more then being nice to run a successful bakery. They also added a smash cake for pictures when my son went to obviously smash it the cake was rock hard with frost bite. My mouth just dropped. Now the owner did give me a discount in the morning because the cake wasn't done and ready at the time agreed on. Honestly I could have looked past all that. What I can't look past is the quality, lack of decor and professionalism. We will not be purchasing our wedding cake nor husbands retirement cake from here this follow year.
