I talked to a younger gentleman in glasses who was very kind and showed around the store and helped me out. But, after he helped me there was an older gentleman with gray hair and glasses wearing a vest. He was very rude and seemed like he couldn't care less about helping me. Maybe he was just having a bad day but I was very offended and because of this I decided and not make a purchase. This guy should lose his job.

A big inconvenience when i dont live in the area The new pants they gave to me were not slim fit like the original and they were way too short for me. My bow tie clasp snapped as soon as I put it on wedding day. I was advised by Chris that I didn't have to try everything on so I assumed they double checked things like that. So I had to rig together my bow tie the morning of the wedding which was not fun. Overall a 0 star experience. Save your money and go to Pernos or anywhere else in Athens, or use Suit Shop. I will not be back and will strongly advise against them if ever brought up for future events.

The company admitted there was a bad batch of fabric and promised to remake the order and rush it to us before our State Tournament on 03/13/2026. Here's what actually happened: On 03/12, the day before the tournament, we reached out to ask where our replacement order was. Shockingly, the rep had no idea the order hadn't even been made. We requested that all future communication be in writing, not over the phone, so nothing could be misrepresented and we would have proof of their responses. Despite repeated requests, Takedown Sportswear is refusing to provide written communication, and promises about the order being rushed remain unfulfilled. A return shipping label for defective items was also promised but never sent, leaving us with items that cannot be returned. Previous photos and sizing information that had been provided are now being "lost" or ignored, making it nearly impossible to resolve the issue. What was supposed to be a simple replacement turned into weeks of confusion, broken promises, and delays, with no accountability. We are sharing this so that anyone considering doing business with Takedown Sportswear is fully aware: proceed with caution, get everything in writing, and don't rely on verbal promises.
