I love the new location at the Summit! The space is great and you can actually see all they have to offer! This was my 3rd time in the new space. Each time it's been very busy, with long lines. However, the two times I made a purchase the lines went very fast and efficiently! There was plenty of help on the floor asking to help you. The associates at the register were pleasant and seemed genuinely happy you were there. On my most recent visit I had to make a return of a defective pair of leggings. I'm starting to really like athleisurewear so I'm glad we have a lululemon store in Birmingham. I don't like shopping for clothes online cause I like to try everything on before I buy it. I came here a few weeks ago and tried on a bunch of tops, shorts, and leggings to try to find my sizes. I will say they have more sales online so I will likely shop both in store and online. LOVE! The lady there helped us so much. She even gave us extra free bags and she was so nice about! Most of the clothes they sell were in stock and in place too! Super neat and very clean. lululemon is pricey but I would still buy all the things there multiple times. Ive been wanting another belt bag and the lady helped us find it. As a yogi and someone who loves spending money on overpriced yoga clothes, I've frequented quite a few lulus. This is the only lululemon location in the metro Bham area. Since their re-location/re-model, the store front is a lot bigger, however the inventory and variety in products is pretty much still the same. Service is really good to sometimes borderline terrible depending on who's working or helping you. They definitely could use some work in terms of customer service consistency. Other than that, if you're not interested in shopping online, this is basically your only lululemon option in the area. read more

Rudest lulu I've potentially ever been to yet. Walked in and the first girl greeting goes "yeah like we close in 30 minutes." I clearly knew this and said "yes sorry I won't be long I know exactly what I'm looking for" she proceeded to walk away rolling her eyes. Secondly I walked up to check out with the item I came for within 10 minutes of being in the store. I used my code for a discount as a healthcare worker and the other girl checking out decides to give the rudest look and up, down glance to me. I understand that Lululemon is high end and great quality however these employees tonight were not. Furthermore i hate to go in right before closing for most stores but it was 30 minutes before closing not 5 or 10. I thought this company was a non-judgemental and non discriminatory company so I do not understand how these employees think they are automatically better than everyone else. read more

Came in today looking to exchange a pair of joggers for a longer pair. Was immediately met at the front door by Eric, who went above and beyond to help. Not only did he help with my return, he immediately got on the phone calling other Lululemon stores, working to find the pair of pants that I needed (which, turns out, is sold out in almost all stores in the US right now). After tracking down a pair on the other side of the country, we worked to get it shipped to my house. After initially finding out that they were out of stock, I would've been FULLY content just going home and periodically checking the stores inventory to see if the pants were in stock, but Eric went out of his way to ensure that I got the joggers as soon as possible. Excellent customer service, very happy with my experience today, looking forward to continuing to purchase products from the Birmingham Lululemon team! read more

Everyone knows that Lulu makes really high end stuff that's pretty pricy and (almost always) amazing fabric and details. I'm not going to address their products, just this location. I haven't been to other stores but yes, I wish the place was a little bigger and had more inventory so you wouldn't have to get so much online (ie, jackets, other things that may not always make sense to sell in Alabama). But it is what it is, the employees don't control that. With a few exceptions, almost everyone that works at the store is enthusiastic, kind, and helpful; but to be honest, I don't know of a business that can boast that 100% of their employees are top notch on every single day. But what really sets this location aside is the manager. He is friendly EVERY single time I go in the store; he will bend over backward to help you, is completely engaged, and you can really tell that he wants every customer to have a great experience. I'd say I want him to get promoted up the ladder, but selfishly I want him to stay at the store. Managers in the service industry could take a lesson from this guy. Job well done amigo! read more

Wish I could put less than one star. This is the smallest lululemon I've ever been to and customer service is horrible. Tried to exchange a pair of pants I ordered in the wrong size but wasn't able to because I "wore" them...once...and then realized they were the wrong size. Word of advice, don't go to the blonde girl who usually is at the register. Not nice, unhelpful and rude. I have heard nothing but complaints about this lululemon, which is not the case for virtually any other location. I hope this store goes under to say the least read more

Well I really wish I did not come here, because now I am tempted to spend $90 on pants. I thought I'd be able to try this stuff on and exclaim to myself that all the money people spend here isn't worth it, and all Lululemon is good at is creating a hype by targeting women with low self-esteem! I think they have done this to a certain extent, but the product is truly comfortable, flattering, and I think you can actually stretch deeper in these clothes. Somehow they have created workout gear that feels more comfortable than being butt naked. I have been in two of this stores so far, one in Washington and the other one here in Birmingham and I'm always happy with the experience. The people that works there are always helpful and knowledgeable and they helped me find the perfect clothes to practice hot yoga (which requires something that absorbs a lot of sweat and still looks nice). And I just found out they have free yoga classes on Sunday! I'm definitively making this store my one stop shop for my exercise clothing needs. read more
