The employees here always friendly and very customer service oriented. the clothing, here is a little more expensive, but the quality is always great, and they stand behind their products. I went into Lululemon with a little bit of anxiety, because I am a bigger girl, and I've always heard stories about how customer service isn't the greatest when you are a bigger girl, but when I got there I was greeted with a smile and someone offering to help me. I looked around and found a couple pair leggings that I wanted to try on a nice older lady in the fitting room got me a fitting room and told me to let her know if I needed anything and to open the door if i wanted her opinion and guidance. I did and she explained how the leggings should fit and what they are best used for. I ended up buying the second pair I tried on. Thank you so much a wish I would have gotten her name. We love their clothes, but we drove 30+ minutes to get there, stood in line for 15 minutes outside the store just to get inside the store, to stand in another line to check out, we get home and the sensor is still on our $148 pants, so we gotta go back and drive 30+ minutes to get there. Called to speak with manager at the Leawood store they said it's unfortunate human error, nothing that they can do but for me to drive back again. This is extremely poor customer service when their employee failed to do their job and it's inconveniencing the customer. Will just completely return, don't want that kind of service! read more

I made a special trip to this store on 12/18 to purchase something for my daughter for her birthday. The woman that helped me was very nice and assisted me with placing the order online for delivery to my home. I was told it would arrive before Christmas. I understand with the holiday delays are normal but after being told it was delayed, fedex reported as delivered. I never received my package. After 2 weeks and 2 chat conversations with the help center, I still have no product and the best answer was to do a refund and place a new order. This is the second time I have had shipping issues with lululemon. My daughter loves their clothes but I can't see purchasing from them again with their prices so high and their customer service being merely sub par. read more

Everything in the store is very pricey but I can justify the price knowing the quality that I am getting. Everything that I have gotten from here has been of the highest quality and if you ever have any problems they will return or exchange your item no questions asked. They have an excellent guarantee on their items. Their store is always very clean and their employees kind and helpful. They also do have a clearance rack which you can find good deals at. If an item is ever too long for your liking, they do in-house alterations for free which is an added bonus! read more

My company (based in Chicago) is getting Lululemon jackets for our company uniform, and have been looking for one particular style and color literally around the country. One of our employees is flying into Kansas City this Saturday so i took a shot in the dark and gave the Leawood store a call to see if they had what we needed, which seemed to be nowhere on Earth. To preface this, I called the national Lululemon number, as well as every single store in our markets (Chicago, St. Louis, San Francisco, Denver, and New York) and not only did none of them have the jacket, they all said that they have NO way at all to tell me when or if they're getting the jackets in, or if any other stores have them or will have them. Not sure how a business stays afloat that way or why it is so hard to buy a $120 hoodie, but I digress. Chrissy (or maybe Christy) answered the phone at the Leawood store and was INCREDIBLY helpful, looking both at her in-store stock, and offering to look up the SKU number of the jacket in question to see what stores in the US might have them. Not sure why none of the 50+ other employees I spoke to said that this was an impossibility, but Chrissy went above and beyond to make this happen for me, and to do what it took to get me the products we were looking for. I was about to give up on LLL, but Chrissy made the process painless and for being such an awesome customer service team member, that girl deserves a raise! read more

I want to start this by saying I spend between $2-3K a year at lululemon each year for my family. I purchased my brother a hoodie for his birthday and he was not allowed to exchange it despite it being in new condition. I agree with other reviewers about the racial bias of store employees. First off my hopes were high going into the store. I've been to Lululemon before in other states to purchase other things but never leggings. I wanted to find a simple black pair especially. I knew before coming that their sizes were different. So I knew someone had to help me find "my" correct size. I have a body type that fits more of an 8 or a 10 but when I was getting sized they told me I was a 6 even a 4. I tried them on because why not but every time she asked me to come out of the dressing room she would "hype" up the smaller size. The lululemon educator sizing me was very pushy and told me the only pair that would fit me would be a size 4 and that if I went up a size it would look "very unflattering". I left the store knowing that I can't trust their sizing opinions except what I know I'm comfortable in. read more

Just a minor update based on a recent experience in dealing with one of the staff members here. After all the hoopla involving the recall of the sheer Wunder Unders, I came in having discovered that somehow a recently purchased pair was slightly sheer. Now, I can understand that this is frustrating for all parties involved but this one woman was incredibly rude about the entire situation. If she wasn't comfortable in switching (or refunding) she could have been a lot nicer and just said so - I am the type of customer that understands and doesn't get belligerent. Everyone else working that day provided the level of service I've come to expect with lululemon. Even worse was just how she behaved (I wished I knew her name) when I checked out. I can understand being rude when someone just comes in with sheer pants and only exchanges them or demands a refund then walks out. I came in to do so AND also bought AN ADDITIONAL pair of Wunder Unders. I'm a regular customer with lululemon (I walked in wearing their products) and this one woman is almost enough for me to say screw the store I'll order/return everything online. I'm hoping this was just a one time experience but it's so disappointing to have this kind of treatment taint my overall view of shopping with lululemon. This update only gets 3 stars since I still love lululemon products but was horribly disappointed by the service from one person. This is a wonderful addition to the Leawood area. I stopped in for the first time last Saturday and let me just say I want everything! Prices are a little high for athletic clothing, but the quality makes it completely worth it. I just really wish that I could afford a pair that those amazing yoga pants! I am most impressed by the store's commitment to the community in offering free yoga. Every Saturday at 9am the store offers a free outdoor yoga class for all levels. I've been working a lot in Chicago and a coworkers got me to start attending the Lululemon free yoga in Chicago's Oz Park on Wednesdays. I love it! And now I am thrilled to also take advantage of Lululemon yoga in Leawood. I just hope the folks at the Leawood Lululemon have something up their sleeve to continue yoga throughout the fall/winter. Love me some Lululemon! I first visited a store in Columbus, Ohio and then was thrilled when they opened one in Town Center. I love their clothes. I can't afford to spend this much on workout apparel all the time, but I consider them a treat to myself. They make high quality apparel that's great for yoga, running and even just wearing out. I'm a big fan of their yoga pants that come in many styles. Most of them have fun colored waist bands and then are reversible. So you can show the bold colors or flip them and wear them as a solid. They even offer free alterations. In addition to great men and women's fitness apparel, they also offer FREE classes on Sundays. Everything in their shop is on wheels so they push it aside and offer yoga and other classes from local instructors. It's a great way to try new classes from new instructors. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a must stop by the next time you're at the Town Center shops. read more

From the moment I entered the store, I was greeted warmly by the staff and they were very willing to help and answer all my questions. I was looking for an upgrade from the cheap, Walmart yoga mat I had been using and Rod and Nick, the staff, were very patient and helped me pick out a mat. I also asked them about the male athletic clothing and was pleasantly surprised with the diverse selection. I'm wearing the Pace Breaker shorts as I write this and they look slick and feel extremely comfy! Overall, the staff was very nice and friendly and the store had a fun, young vibe. This store is a splurge for me, but oh how I love my wunder under crops! They fit bitter than any other work-out pants (granted, I usually shop for exercise gear at Target or Marshall's), but I could live in my lululemons. Last weekend I actually wore them as tights with my outfit. The groove crops are great too and reversible. The employees in this store are very helpful and honest. If you tell them what type of activity you'll primarily be doing, they will even coach you through the "see-through" test to ensure no one will be getting a peep show during a downward dog. Their local facebook page is constantly updated with new arrivals. My favorite part is that they show real women wearing their clothing...not only size 0-2 athletes. They just opened their store on 119th and Roe - it's no longer in the show room address on their listing. It's a beautiful store with great products. If it was a little more affordable, I would give it 5 stars. read more

I am new to Lulu but love it. You truly get what you pay for and most times I go in I am treated wonderfully from the moment I walk in. I am 5'4" and have to get my pants hemmed they are great at measuring you and whomever does the hemming does a wonderful job and it is a very fast turnaround. Today the girl in the back that measured me was not very friendly and did not treat me very well if this would've been my first time in the store I probably would not have gone back. So for anyone reading this review don't let one person scare you away because overall this is a great location with great staff. read more

EXTREMELY disappointed. Walked in with my mom to get her some new joggers. She just had surgery and is still a little swollen and was already feeling self conscious about going out. She is almost 6 ft and not as "skinny" as the other tiny girls in there and we noticed she wasn't getting helped while the other thinner girls were. Finally when someone made eye contact with us, WE had to ask if they could help us... for the cost of the clothing this is ridiculous. My mom then proceeded to ask for her size in a specific pair of joggers she liked, and the worker responded with "you'll have to check online" and then walked away. It was a size 12... Absolutely disgusting and ridiculous. Lululemon- get your stuff together, this should not happen. read more

Their clothes are very flattering on many different body types. Wearing their clothes make me more motivated to go to the gym. I think the people who work here are really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they don't always keep in stock the things that I want to purchase. They have expensive athletic clothes. If you enter the store, you will want to buy $100 workout pants. Pretty typical Lulu location. I was pleased with the time and attention spent helping me select two pairs of athletic pants - cropped and traditional yoga. I wish they had more t-shirt style tops to choose from as tanks aren't my thing. Although it's summer, I did buy a long sleeved top and it's been wonderful - soo many compliments on the clothes. Super disappointed with the customer service in the front of the store. I went to this location to ask a question about a pair of leggings that were covered in snags after very few times wearing them. I was not asking for a refund or replacement simply asking what to do about them. The woman at the front took It upon herself to blame me for snagging them and then gave me the visual of her standing there not touching her leggings telling me "see mine aren't snagging from just standing here." I purchased these leggings expecting quality that wouldn't disappoint. There was absolutely no reason for her to act the way she did much less be incredibly rude about It. read more

Although I am a huge fan of lululemon product, I have not had a single positive experience at this location. Every time I have entered this store I have been immediately overwhelmed with a sense that my every move was being judged and talked about. When you come out of a fitting room and half of the staff is immediately after huddling together, giggling its pretty clear what they are doing. My mother has also had several negative experiences where the management has scolded her about her not needing a fitting room and talked to her in an incredibly rude manner. I don't recommend this location to anyone...... Luckily, they have a second location in town and a website that I will be visiting. read more

If you want customer service and to feel comfortable, shop at Plaza location; Girlfriend and I make a purchase on average 1 time per month at Lululemon. Over the last one year the staff has become pretentious, arrogant, and disrespectful. This evening we walked in at 7:47pm and was immediately greeted by the person behind the front desk that we only have 13 minutes to quickly shop. We apologized for showing up at a later hour and began shopping. The store was in disarray and out of curiosity my girlfriend nicely asked if they were setting up for a sale, immediately snarled at and told a bold "No". They ignored our questions, shoved racks into our isles while we navigated the store and acted as if we didn't belong. This type of customer service has happened more and more lately and we have regretted and have been emotionally upset after our last two visits to the store. We have decided to finally write a review in hopes of someone addressing the pretentious and arrogant manner of the staff. If the shopper is going to spend $100+ per item(s), the company should have the utmost kind staff. A perfect example on how to lose customers who spend a ton of money is this Leawood location. read more

I've shopped at Lululemon for years and have never returned anything. A couple of months back, my mom bought me a grey pair of Wunder Under Crops; I didn't wear them until a week ago- to hot yoga. Surprisingly, my friend next to me told me that they were COMPLETELY sheer during yoga. Lululemon is known for their quality promise so I head to this store to return/exchange the pair. I walk into the store and explain what had happened to me; the gentleman with dark hair said I would be able to exchange them or get a gift card. As I go to look for a pair that aren't sheer, a blonde hair girl that was at the register when I brought them in, comes up to me and tries to tell me that I wear the wrong size in Lululemon leggings and thats why they were see thru. FIRST, I have 6 pairs of leggings from this company, ALL in the SAME size, and I've never had a problem with them being sheer. Second, that's incredibly rude. I didn't tell her the problems I was having. She wasn't helping me at all. After not finding any leggings in my size, I ended up just returning them for a gift card. As I was returning them, the second lady tries to tell me that it was a size problem...and was being rude about the return as well. I will never be back at this location again. I'll either buy online or go to the country club plaza. read more
