My mother-in-law and I were shopping for me at lululemon when I spotted some pastel purple joggers--her favorite color. My husband was determined to buy her her very first lululemon outfit, so we found the perfect pair of joggers and some socks. The girl helping with sizes was patient and great with giving her feedback. My MIL was worried she was "too old" to wear joggers. As we checked out, he tried to add a matching fanny pack as a surprise, but when she saw she declined, noting she had a similar one I'd given her years ago. The employee at the register was incredibly patient with our back-and-forth. Then, something amazing happened: another employee overheard us and insisted on gifting her the fanny pack. This simple, kind gesture meant more than words can say, especially as she had recently lost both of her parents. This was her first time shopping for herself at lululemon, and I know she's now a customer for life, not just because of the clothes, but because of the incredible compassion and customer service your team showed. Lots for parking at the Lululemon in Kaanapali We love shopping here for their signature Lulu attire. If you have the chance to visit look for the Maui only collection. They do add another $10 for the Maui logo but so worth it. Employee that's helped us was great, super friendly and realized we were coming early each day to find the highly sought after Maui only rack. read more

I agree with the other reviews of this store. The service was very rude and not inclusive. I came in to politely ask about the Hawaii merchandise and the sales associate rolled their eyes at me and scoffed before saying they didn't carry any. I felt so embarrassed that I left without browsing around the store. I understand that this area was close to the recent fires, so I'm very careful not to ask too many questions or bother the employees that much. I made sure to ask the employees in a tender/gentle way; but I just felt like I got punished for even approaching them or stepping into the store. The neighboring shops around this area are okay; but I think the vibe, in general, at this shopping plaza is very touristy, had a much older crowd, and lacked a lot of P.O.C. I called the store today to see if they had an item in stock that I wanted to buy. I try always to buy locally as opposed to buying online. I was taken aback when on the recorded message, you listen to in order to navigate to speak the sales staff, referred to the staff as " educators " as opposed to salespeople or sales associates. I believe this may contribute to the attitude referred to in some of the reviews. The "educator" that spoke with answered my question, period, as an instructor would and then recommended I go on line to buy what I wanted. read more

This Lulu location has some cute, limited, local edition products. Namely the Hawaiian islands and a whale's tail decal heat stamped on select items. They get new (local edition) inventory almost daily, so I stopped in multiple times and made multiple purchases. Customer service is hit or miss - generally nice with a couple unhelpful employees. I had to leave a 5 star review for James, who went out of his way to search for certain items for me. read more

Small but mighty! This location may be smaller than most other Lululemons I've been to on the Mainland and in their hometown of Vancouver, BC, but what it lacks in size and merchandise selection, they make up for in customer service and offerings unique to Maui. Like all other Lululemon stores, they offer complimentary in-store yoga classes featuring local instructors. It was awesome to be able to partake in a Vinyasa yoga class here during our most recent visit (last year we had to miss it since it was at the same time as our wedding here on Maui!). Since we were staying within walking distance from Whaler's Village, we stopped in the store a few times the week we were on island for the yoga class and to browse/shop. Each time we walked in, we were always greeted and always asked if we needed any assistance. Their friendliness was definitely appreciated! One of the unique offerings that I mentioned earlier is that they can take your newly purchased clothing item and have one of their little Lululemon Maui graphics screen printed onto it for an extra $10. You'll just have to pick it up the next day, but I was lucky enough to find yoga shorts already with the Aloha design I wanted which was perfect since we had to leave the next day. Yup, I was indecisive all week (shopping priority always falls well below beach time priority when I'm here!), and finally decided I wanted them when it was almost too late! I really enjoyed this store located in Whaler's Village, which is literally steps away from a sandy beach. Something to keep in mind, many of the shoppers here walk around in their towels and bath suits and may have just come from the beach. I'm from the mainland and was happy to find a limited amount of Aloha gear available at this store, which is identified by a small decal of the hawaiian islands printed on select gear for men and women. The amount available was very limited, and I only saw one of each size available when I was there that day. FYI, Aloha gear are all final sale items. Other decals included a whale tail and the Shaka symbol. The store was very busy, so my interaction with staff was limited, but the checkout gal was really quite friendly. Probably could have had some more staff greeting customers to add a personal touch but there were a lot of customers in the store. read more

NO HAWAII PRODUCTS here. We came for the Hawaii signature products and were disappointed when the salesperson said they didn't have any. On top of that, a shirt my partner tried on had a hole and the salesperson in the dressing room shrugged and reluctantly took the shirt off the rack. There were also very strange people (beach dwellers maybe?) coming in and out of the store and acting strangely. Not impressed with my experience today. read more

Lululemon Athletica is near monkeypod and on the walkway near many hotels. I walked in looking for new athletic shorts I can surf in. I'm curvier and a lot of brands like billabong do not fit well. When I walked into Lulu I was greeted by 3 different workers at different times during my shopping and asked what I was shopping for. One girl helper Sophia (I think her name) helped me find clothes that she Recommended. She started to pull items that she thought I would like. Lululemon has kind of become the industry standard for high-quality athletic-wear whether you need moisture-wicking running tanks, sports bras, yoga pants, or just comfortable shirts and shorts to live your life in. The shop at Whaler's Village is small and doesn't have a huge selection, but it offers many options for both men and women, and there are a lot of discounted items at the back of the store. I was able to find a great $68 tank for $38. The sales associates were very friendly and helpful. They also packaged my purchase in a cute little black reusable bag (you also have a choice of a red bag). This is such a nice gesture and tradition at Lululemon. Note: There is also another Lululemon store at The Shops at Wailea for those who don't want to make the drive out to Lahaina. read more

We checked back and still nothing. Since we are still in the area we go in every couple of days to check. Now when we come in, they seem annoyed and ignore us. this was my first time ever shopping at lulu and the girl at the fitting rooms was extremely helpful in helping me choose the perfect size of leggings. she was extremely knowledgeable about all of the product, explained in detail what to expect out of each different style, and with her help i was able to cut my time in there in half and walk out with three staple pieces, in my perfect size and performance needs. i highly recommend this location! My wife is born and raised in Maui. She grabbed 5 items and went to the dressing room to try on her clothes. The employees did not even acknowledge her. But they greeted four white ladies with one item in their hands and welcomed them with open arms into the dressing rooms. All of the older employees have horrible customer service and discriminate if you don't look white or look like you're rich. There's a reason why they're old and still working in retail. Every person should be treated equal. Especially Hawaiian locals. read more

I came here on 6/28 and purchased a pair of leggings. I added the Aloha $10 screen printing. It was supposed to be ready to be picked up on 6/29 after 5PM. I went at 8PM on 6/29 and my order was nowhere to be found. The employee came out twice to ask me my name. The third time she came out I just gave her my receipt. 15 minutes later she told me, "Good news. We found your leggings, but they're not finished. They were out in today's bin for pickup tomorrow..." Needless to say I had to wait even longer for them to screen my leggings then when it should've been done the first time around. There wasn't an apology on her end or any attempt to offer anything for their wrongdoing. I wouldn't recommend this location. read more

One of the worst Lululemon stores I've ever visited. The staff here are extremely rude. First off I tried calling for an item that said it was in stock on the Lulu app. The app said they had 4 in stock. So I called and the lady who answered the phone was snooty and and tried to make me feel stupid or something. I get to the store and the lady I believe I talked to said they no longer have this particular item and that the app is wrong. This woman clearly doesn't have any customer service etiquette. I wanted to be rude back but I was raised right. Lululemon needs to look out for this location and the employees they hire here. Not nice people here!! read more

Went to the Whalers Village Lululemon and purchased 2 pairs of shorts, a tank and a bra. The sales person checking me out was rude when I gave my phone # for look up and the acct came up in my husbands name. Apparently it's business policy that you can't have a shared account, which to me creates unnecessary confrontational interaction. I love that they offer free classes on Saturday mornings! All the class I've been to have been awesome - they clear out the floor of all the racks and manicans so there is ample space to roll out your mat and get your yoga on. Classes are suited for all levels and the instructors guide with that in mind. They also provide mats if you don't have one and validate your parking as well. It helps that I love lululemon athletic wear as well (also dangerous because I want everything)! They usually have a discount rack which seems to be updated every week. The store reps are also so nice and helpful, love that we have lululemon on the west side ! read more

I needed to grab a few pairs of shorts for my daughters while in Maui and knew Lululemon would have what I was looking for. Disappointed #1, there were very limited options avail in sizes 4-8....supply chain issues, I get it. However, disappointment #2 was the rude service, no excuse for this! One sales associate was fine, not particularly friendly or helpful but not rude. The associate who completed the transaction at the register was offensive! I asked to use my Military discount (which I had registered for with Lululemon when they updated their process in fall 2021) I was told it did not apply to purchase that were gifts....(purchasing clothing for my teenage daughter is not really a gift but okay). I was annoyed as he explained the change in policy, but whatever, I just wanted to purchase the shorts and get on with my day. He said "What do you want to do?". His tone was rude and condescending. When I told him I wanted to purchase the shorts he told me AGAIN that I couldn't buy them as gifts, it was again his tone, so condescending and rude. I replied that I understood the first time he told me and just wanted to complete the transaction. I have shopped at the Wailea store multiple times, they are awesome!!! It's too bad that the Lahaina (Whalers Village) has such poor service. read more

I love Lululemon. Santa Monica store is great...Pasadena store is great...Maui location not so much. I understand its a showroom so only being open 5 days a week 11a-6p is a bummer but not what I have an issue with. I have an issue with the lack of empathy and customer service. I recently had an issue where the sales person tried to help me but the manager was very nonchalant and tried to place the blame on me. I was so upset I had to leave before I lost my temper. Lululemon usually has great customer service but I sincerely doubt I will ever go to this location again. I was so excited to hear that Lululemon had a store at Whalers Village and looked forward to shopping there on my short stay on the island, only to find out that they close at 6pm (much earlier than the rest of the shops in the mall) and they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (which happened to be the 2 days I was on the island).
