I love Lululemon. The brand is pricey but, let's be honest, you get what you pay for. The quality and selection of clothing and accessories are without parallel. I have a few Lululemon items, but my eldest daughter (26 yrs old) and my mother (88 yrs old!) have wardrobes with a TON of Lululemon clothes. And everything lasts forever. Seriously. I have a fanny-belt bag (as does my kid and my mom) and it's nearly a decade old and as good as new (and still looks great, too). No broken zippers or torn seams or broken buckles. Still fashionable, like the leggings I got eons ago. Their fashions and the quality definitely do withstand the tests of time. I've not tried on their new running shoes as I am loyal to my Hoka brand shoes, but this store has a prominent display of Lululemon athletic sneakers and, if they're anything like the rest of their product line, I'm certain they're of high quality, and they will make sure they fit you properly. The only reason why I'm not giving this store 5 stars is because no-one greeted us or spoke one word to us while we were in the store, despite it not being too busy there when we visited. (Note: this is atypical of Lululemon stores in general. Usually they warmly greet visitors and ask if they can help find anything). My kid and I weren't in the market for anything in particular, but we browsed around a bit. As usual, they had a few items on sale, but few things were in the sizes we'd need. The Lululemon store at this particular location is pretty great . First of all really big spacious location and second ,While customers usually have a good idea of what they want when they visit here, the store's employees here take it up a notch and offer recommendations to enhance the experience. The product offerings are of typical Lululelmon quality, which is great, and I have had clothes that have lasted me years inspite of me not taking any exceptional care of them . Prices are definitely high but these are quality pieces .The colors are always in -season but you can never go wrong with the classics and the material. I agree that other brands and specially some on Amazon have comparable quality on a very lower price but if you compare the fit and the overall look , I don't think it will be a hard time choosing which comes out much superior . read more

Awful manager who won't do a charge send for the belt bag bc she said so. The associate at the downtown Portland store actually directed me to call this branch because she was confident they would have the belt bag in stock (they did; they had 4 pieces) and they would do a charge send without any issue. The elitist attitude of the manager needs to go. She shouldn't be managing if she doesn't know corporate policy. I ended up calling the LL store near my home and they were able to do a charge send without any issues. In fact the associate at the Pasadena, CA store was aghast at the attitude when I told her my experience from this store. I don't recommend this branch. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I used to buy so much for my girls and will never purchase from them again. You can get better quality elsewhere for less. My experience came when I spent $150 for an online order for 1 item that doesn't fit right but they won't refund me only give a store credit. This really surprised me as they are so proud of their clothes, yet they wont take returns. So beware they are proud only to keep your money they do not stand by their cloths. Still has tags never worn in original packaging. This was my first experience and my last. I only liked and wanted one thing I and thought let's try it. Come to find out my cousin and I had the same experience and she use to be a repeat customer, she's been trying to sell her items for half and no one will even buy it.. apparently I should have inquired before buying anything. TLDR: This store's employees (especially Margaret) are amazing and will take good care of you! I am not exaggerating when I say Margaret (!!!), Lauren and Jordan at this store all went above and beyond and it was the best customer service I have ever experienced! Like some other reviewers mentioned, I sometimes feel uncomfortable going to Lululemon stores because of the negative vibe but not here! All three ladies were so helpful and patient with me- I was in the store for quite a while figuring out what to stock up on since the healthcare discount was ending. They genuinely love the products that they carry and I appreciated that they offered helpful suggestions and listened to any feedback I had about fit/sizing/etc. They ultimately helped me find items that fit me comfortably and I walked out a happy customer! I had just come from a negative experience at the store on Couch street, and it was like this store's employees knew about it and were being extra kind and helpful to make up for it, except they actually had no idea and were just doing an amazing job at their job! They left such a good impression that when my friend came to visit, I brought her to this store. Margaret was working again and, with her amazing memory, even remembered my name and her suggestions for me! We couldn't say enough good things about Margaret- she is helpful, patient, understanding, personable, energetic, fun, positive, and seems like a genuinely good person. I'll premise this by saying I'm a straight male who has never worn tights however girls tend to know comfort and every girl ever owns some type of tights because it makes the booty "pop." Generally I don't partake in booty popping but on this particular day I felt it was my time break down some stereotypes. Courtney and Maribeth were extremely accommodating and helped me pick out the perfect pair! Not only are these the most comfortable leg wear I own, they are for certain the most stylish or 'boujee' if you will. And I won't lie my butt and quads looks dope. I came in for the first time and was greeted which I think is the manager but I'm not sure very sure, I would say snooty. He gave me a vibe that I didn't belong there. I told him I was browsing around and he walked away, I think he was hoping I would look at the price tag and leave the store, jokes on him. I will say there was this other employee, I believe her name is Brianna or Brianne , she went above and beyond to help. She came over and made some suggestions and even wiped the peanut butter off my hoodie that my son so happened to wipe on me. She went out of her way to make suggestions on what I was looking for in leggings. Only reason why I told the other guy I was browsing is he was kinda short with me, even hushed my son when I had my back turned. I will note its not like he was wild or crying, he's just a toddler. It is convenient. The staff is always helpful and accommodating. What else can you ask for? This being a predominantly female store can be intimidating. Who gives a flying F? They do justice on their men's side. They have good pants. The current releases are the ones that you need to keep in your arsenal of clothing. The first ones are lack luster and gets baggy after some washes. They have also revamped their sizes to accommodate men on the slimmer side. Not everyone wears 36-44. The shirts I can live without. I don't see anything stroboscopic and interesting about their technology and design. But I do recommend you trying one and see for yourself. They look great but I am not a fan of muted colors. I already have them in my pants. Tights? I don't do lululemon tights. Ladies, please take some Midol or Tampax before you start reviewing about how you felt when you went to the store and how you were treated less of a royalty. It is pathetic. I woke up early to get to my appointment only to find the mall doors locked and when I did get inside 10 minutes past my confirmed 9am appointment time, they said they don't open their store gates until 10am!! Absolutely love the layout of this store. It's conveniently parked right next to the lot so you can come and go as you please. I brought my little pup Ollie into the store and the staff there were all so welcoming to my little guy! They were also offering a Kombucha tasting near the fitting rooms so that was a nice little treat as I browsed the store. I found some pretty awesome finds tucked away on the tank wall which I've been dying to purchase. Every time I've come here, I've been able to find an item that I thought was completely sold out. So keep an eye out for those rare finds! I was helped out by Georgia & Rachel who were so fun to chat with. They made me feel right at home even though I was visiting from out of state. What a pleasant surprise to find a lululemon store in Washington Square! The store is airy, brightly lit, and well organized. The number of fitting rooms seems adequate, although you have to walk a few steps to get to the big mirror to check yourself out from more angles. The employees were pretty chatty with one another while I was in the store, but whenever my mom or I needed a hand, they were quick to give us their attention. I bought my first pair of Lulu's!!! I have hesitated towards even trying a pair of these tights due to the hype surrounding the brand but I finally gave in and tried a pair of the Align Pant. These tights are HEAVENLY! They're extremely comfortable and they don't slip like other tights. Their store is wonderfully organized with a range of sizes and colors to choose from. I was greeted by a very friendly employee who helped me out and gave me some suggestions. She didn't pressure me to buy anything and I appreciated all her help. I asked one of the sales if they had dry shampoo in store, and she looked at me just like I owed her something and answered me with a "No!" with a poker face. Had to send 6 year old daughter out of my dressing room to ask for different size bra since no one was asking if I needed help. Furthermore, their store policy is to not put things on hold. I came in here and was shocked at how snobby the sales girls were. First off before the bad- I LOVE Lululemon and the product very much and every time I go to a store I get the same friendly fantastic experience by the employees. HOWEVER I have stopped going to the Washington square one because of one employee. Everyone else working was great there was a blue/blonde/black haired girl working at the time and she was LOUD and a total turn off. She said REPEATEDLY in a half joking loud tone how she "i mean I want your money but i also want you to like it like i want your money for sure ill take your money but you wanna like it you know" Over and over and over and talked over the top of customers and could be heard over everyone in the store the entire time. As someone who works in customer service you do not act like a cheap car salesmen and tell people you want their money even as a joke. Its unprofessional. It was a total turn off and I wasnt the one being waited on but my entire shopping experience was unpleasant and i would never go to that store again if she was working. I will still buy Lululemon but will not be stepping foot in there if shes working she acted very fake verses friendly with the customers. I come here often; I like the brand and the quality. I'm nearly 5'10" and I their leggings work for both running and casual wear. However, EVERY SINGLE time I walk into that store, none of the customer service reps ever help me. I'm not sure what the deal is. I'll walk in without being greeted but the person behind me gets a hello and an offer to help. I will be in the middle of the store trying on a sweatshirt or jacket and no one will ask if I'm looking for something specific or need a certain size. Today I was looking for a sweatshirt and I couldn't get to them because one of the reps was leaning on them while on the phone with another store. I was completely ignored until I waved my hand in her face to move! I don't fit there stereotype and they are assuming I can't afford the brand. This is the biggest mistake retail can make. This location may not be huge but they have a decent selection. I always feel that because I'm a male I'm left to wander around for a decent amount of time before someone asks me if I need help. If you come to this location ask for Shawn, he is amazing! I'm a short guy and having him be able to recommend running tights in the women's section(shorter lengths) without feeling judged is awesome. I took a trip to this store back in December and had the worst customer experience I have ever had! Firstly, I work for a company called Orangetheory fitness and we have a partnership with this company for 20% off and when their employees come to our studio they get a discounted price as well. When I proceeded to ask an associate about this discount we get, she provided me with all the information telling me the companies receive emails which invite them to private shopping events. This is not what I've been told by my company how our discount works. The associate continued to blankly stare at me telling me rudely " well you should've been invited to the event if not I can't help you". Next, I asked this associate about a sales rack which she informed me they did not have anything like this and the sales is fed into the racks available. I felt stereotyped because I am African American and asking about a discount and sales rack. Regardless of my ethnicity when any customer walks into your establishment no matter the size of the sale you give them a great experience to generate customer loyalty. In an establishment of this caliber I was offended, frustrated and hurt and felt I needed to share with the company to give them an opportunity out to do better. Overall, the quality of my shopping experience quickly diminished after each question and after I had asked about a sales rack the associate seemed to have no desire to help me or answer any more questions I might have. This experience was bad enough that I will never visit this location again and I continue to share my experience with those around me to inform them so they won't experience this same horrible customer service I did. read more

Customer service here is beyond amazing. I had bought a pair of Lululemon leggings in Michigan a year ago. Usually in pants I'm a size 4 however when I tried size 4, the Luluemon guy said they look too big on me and told me I should go for a size 2 so that I'm not the girl that's always pulling up my pants in an exercise class (which I usually am, so I took his recommendation). Ended up wearing those pants a total of about 5 times over the past year because they were wayyy too small and super uncomfortable. I finally decided to try my luck and go into this store in Portland (a year later after I bought the pants) to tell them about my issue. The manager who spoke with me quickly recommended a new pair of leggings for me to try on and exchanged them at no cost, and no questions asked. I didn't even have the receipt. Needless to say these new leggings are now my favorite pair of pants I own. Makes me appreciate Lululemon even more and that they value their customers and quality. read more
