Nice place to shop for produce,,, however, never ever buy their tamales , that was the nastiest tamale. I've ever eaten that I would throw them to my farm animals and They didn't even want them. Sorry Lulu, you better get someone different for your tamales. They were disgusting. read more

Our friends recommended Lulu's Farm, especially their tamales, so we had to check it out! We bought the red pork tamales, and while they were definitely good--spicy and packed with meat--I found the masa to be a bit less silky than I prefer. I also grabbed a jar of their homemade Hatch hot salsa, and I loved that it's made with simple ingredients: peppers, tomatoes, garlic, and spices, without any citric acid. I finished the jar in just two days! We couldn't resist picking up a bushel of roasted Big Jim's green chiles with garlic heads, which are perfect for making chile rellenos. And let's not forget the Hatch green chile bacon sausage brat--absolutely amazing and highly recommended! Overall, our shopping experience was pleasant. The outdoor eating area was nice, and the staff and management were friendly. There's a great variety of items available, from lawn statues to an impressive selection of prepared foods, preserves, frozen items, and fresh produce. I'll definitely be back to try more! read more

I came for only one thing, the Hatches frozen green chili. My bigest fear is running out of green chile so I bought 8 bags to go with my regular stash, about a quart each and tonight I thawed a quart. I found the blistered skin came off easy enough but each chili had no meat on them. I was shocked. These are supposed to be my stash and not only did the chili's NOT have any meat on them but they had no heat nor flavor. I made a simple bean burrito loaded down with chili and onion and the chili seemed no existent. I took 2 tablespoons and ate it and again, no flavor. It was like eating wax. So what happened? I don't think the chilis came from New Mexico, I thing LuLu's collected the seeds and and grew them in Colorado soil under Colorado sun..I'm very disappointed, disappointed in deed. read more

I'm sorry folks, I truly do not like to give bad reviews, but this place is a giant NO. We came here from Arvada on a Friday looking to pick up some fresh veggies to do some canning with dad. We made the drive because there are no Farmers Markets open on Friday. What a disappointment. None of the veggies looked fresh or worthy of purchase except the corn on the cob. Had to use the restroom from the drive but you get port a potties I wouldn't let anyone rightly use. We wandered the entire place and all we ended up with were muddy shoes and a few ears of corn. Not worth the trip. Sorry folks. read more

We never have to go to Pueblo again! They have the Chiles! We just bought a whole bushel of roasted hot Pueblo Chiles for $38. This place rocks! Their indoor market is great too. There is a whole section for BBQ including rubs, sauces, gadgets, etc. another section for produce and another for frozen meats where we were able to get my daughter her beloved rattle snake sausage bites. There is so so much I can't even begin to scratch the surface. Looking forward to our next trip back already. 11/10 would recommend. I never ever ever have to go back to Pueblo now! read more

Clean store! Delicious chili! Hatch is good but Pueblo Chili is the best! worth the drive out to visit and pick up some great chili!

LuLu's is one of three farm markets I like to visit within a short distance of one another when driving up to Brighton. I have been coming up here for several years and love not only all of the fruit, veggie, and chili pepper options but, the plethora of spices and herbs that I can't ever seem to pull myself away from. It is here that I discovered Mexican Oregano and have been using and buying regularly thanks to them! The smoked sweet paprika is amazing as is the hot smoked option. There are so many unique options available, you can't miss with trying one or two each time you stop in - you're likely to find a new favorite and of course, all of the standard seasonings/spices are on hand as well. I appreciate the size options provided for the herbs and spices and the value is great for the quantity and quality. The section with grills and smokers is huge and has so many accessories and grill options to purchase - if you are in the market for one or already have one, this is the place to go. There are also freezers with local and other Colorado goodies from pies, to cheese, eggs, meat, sausages and more. Then there is the candy section that is so much fun to go through - full of old-fashioned things that people of a certain age (yes, it's me!) will remember and have fun seeing (and buying!) again. If you're lucky, there will be Chili Mango taffy available when you stop in! Trust me, it is delicious. LuLu's is also one of the few places I can find anything Huckleberry flavored and I love them for this - if you like Huckleberry, look for the goodies when you visit! I look forward to coming up every year to buy the great corn and roasted peppers - they never disappoint. Late summer brings the very popular and busy chile fest and fall brings the pumpkin patch display outside of the store with great photo ops and tons of pumpkins and squash. Finally, the service is always very fast in spite of the popularity creating a line that can appear to be daunting - the cashiers always have a smile on their face and are friendly and happy to help answer any questions. read more

I have supported this vendor for the past 7 years. Done with them. Try buying a bulk item. They were not honest with weight. Directly from the employee, a box of pickles i between 16-18lbs. WTF? Then when I get home the it weighs 15lbs, including the 1lb box. Be careful with this outlet. Overcharge. All you have to do is be honest, they are not. The dill I purchased was a complete joke that they provided. Half dead. I will never patronize the establishment again. Seriously disappointed at my stupidity for paying for subpar products. read more

I am very irritated with your company I went in and bought chili and tortillas on Monday 02/03/2025 and I did put my tortillas in the refrigerator and they have mold on them so I called in to report it and the lady was very rude said nothing she can do stating I didn't put them in the refrigerator. I was expecting a lot more fresh produce. There were a lot of frozen meats and veggies. Canned salsa, syrups, jams, and honey. And a bunch of candy!! If you go there not expecting fresh produce, it is okay, but I wouldn't make the trip from downtown Denver. They have grills for sale and a uhaul truck rental there though if that sparks your interest. Parking was plentiful though and it should be noted, they are open year round. We were the only customers in the market, but the staff were too busy chit-chatting with each other to do their jobs. We love Lulu's We went for the 1st time a month ago and have been back 3 more times. I have such a selection of fresh vegetables and great frozen meat right off of the farm. The chicken, pork, sausage, elk brats, and steaks are all delicious great selection of salsa, homemade cheeses, pickles, mustards, and other foods or condiments. They have lots of chili's that they will roast fresh or sell frozen. They also have a huge amount of garden statues and bird baths priced very reasonably. Adirondack chairs and Traeger grills and wood chips as well, though a bit pricier... Take some time to explore. Lots of great stuff at Lulu's! Check out their craft soda selection! read more

Eh. I used to like it but as I kept going I realized the service was sub-par. It's like they expect you to buy from them so they don't offer pristine customer service. But beware, products don't sell themselves. They've sold me expired sauces and bags of pellets with holes in them (they corrected it with a piece of thin tape) and then proceeded to charge me full price and then some. Again, cool place, cool concept, but eh. As a giver myself, the kindness should never stop even if your product is bangin'. read more

Having heard nothing but great things about Lulu's Farm Roadside Market I was excited to check it out. What better time than the annual Brighton Chile Festival?! None! So Kristin M. and I made our way to Brighton to check out Lulu's Farm Roadside Market and celebrate the chile! ++ Tons of locally grown or produced items. I was taken aback by the amount of unique jams, pickled items, seasonings and more available! Whoa! ++ Lots of friendly and helpful staff onsite willing to help you with any questions you have. ++ Open year round! So no need to fret you can always get your farm fresh produce. Great for those trying to eat cleaner! +/- Prices seemed a tad steep on many of the items I was looking at. At least you're supporting local. While it's def a little off the beaten path for me; I'd consider making my way back for some of their other events throughout the year or to pick up some locally grown goods! read more

Produce is great, but READ LABELS shopping here. Like some other farm stands, much of the stuff on shelves isn't even locally sourced. Lot of the items have unlisted ingredients, while others list preservatives, "natural flavors" and "spices". Bought a glass jug of "Apple cider" to read in fine print that it is flavored grape juice "produced for" Lulu's (aka not even from here). People are trying to shop local, not be deceived by labels. This review is actually for the U-Haul side of the business. We had rented a 32 foot truck to move, about a month in advance, and the truck was actually ready ahead of schedule, but a couple hours. We used the truck, and it took care of our needs, as it should. The truck was clean, gassed up and ready to go. The employees at Lulu's Farm, were very nice and cordial, the day I picked up the vehicle, as well as the day that I returned it. There were no hidden fee's or charges. Thanks ! ! ! ! read more

Do not order from these guys regardless of what tell you! I ordered frozen chilis for my brother in November they said it was insured. It never arrived I called for help they just put it off on USPS, USPS tells me that they should be calling handling this I just keep getting the runaround. I put a chargeback with my bank and than the chili guys said they would investigate and re send chilis and seemed super helpful if I take chargeback off.As soon as I did they didn't want to help again they tell me call USPS . $138.00 for nothing save yourself the money and stress and go somewhere else. read more

Absolutely disappointed in the way an altercation between an angry patron and a woman with small children went down today at the festival. A woman caused a scene over a table with another woman and her family, proceeding to yell and throw a drink at the woman. Her children looked frightened for their mom. Nobody from the establishment did anything to support this woman and let the rude angry lady stay. If you are the woman that caused a scene and threw the drink you need therapy and to consider staying home next time. Wish I could give a negative 10 stars read more

I love Lulu's! Such amazing local produce, snacks and food. Their green chiles are out of this world, such a wide variety! There's even a bunch of vintage candies and craft sodas for the kids. The staff is amazing too, very friendly and helpful. I've been a customer of both the market and the U-haul within the market and I have only incredible things to say! The store is very clean and easy to navigate, and the parking lot is huge! read more

I love this place!! We didn't go last year cuz of Covid but went yesterday. They have so many items, things you wouldn't think of like Rabbit jerky. The prices can be steep hence why I am only allowed to get what I can get for 30 minutes then I gots to go!!! They are already (it's a bit early) roasting chili's and they are more expensive than where we normally get ours but all in all a great place. Even just to walk around and check out all the unique items. If I lived closer I would be in trouble here, lol!!! read more

This place is first class. During the summer months the produce is fresh and looks like it was just picked. They also carry a huge selection of chili's, fresh green chili (roasted) and all kinds of red and green chili powders. They have a very big selection of spices and seasonings. I like to shop here! I was excited to know that there was a local farmers market but then totally disappointed to see it's exactly like a grocery store. But none the less- if I can support local farmers without paying the middle man , I am more than happy to! I thought it was neat that they offered unusual items for sale including Turkey gizzards in a jar. I will saw what made me walk out without purchasing anything is the check baskets. Have you looked at those? Gross!!! Who would ever want to put fresh produce in there? There's got to be tons of bacteria, poop particals , and maybe even stag bacteria from never being cleaned anda gazillion people touching them. I did bring it up to the clerk before leaving so they have a chance to know about it to fix at least that. Her response was " I guess I'll have to find time.." but it was pretty much brushed off without care. ‍ oh lord no. I've been here twice now. It's far from where I live but close to where I work, so I can see myself stopping in here regularly. The first time I was looking for roasted green chilies, they have a wide assortment of varieties and heat levels, and fairly reasonably priced. They have lots of good frozen meats, fresh produce, and sauces, salsas, seasonings. I came back a second time because I was looking for pork shanks for Christmas dinner and none of the butcher shops in the Denver area were able to accommodate. Lulu's had 4 good size ones for $3.99, which is much less than I was quoted from the aforementioned stores. The staff were friendly both times, and the gal working today was very helpful. Everything for a meal is here, and they have some good original sausages as well, which piqued my interest. It would be extremely easy to go overboard, so I kind of rushed myself out both times. I will probably swing by here on the way to or from work sometimes, especially to get some chilies. I'd recommend checking this little hidden gem out yourselves. read more

Thrilled to see they are open year round. My favorite is the jams, why I came in today, I also picked up a hatch salsa for my husband to try. Saw they had local varieties of corn (Peaches and Cream and Silver Queen) to try and will come back to get more to decob and then freeze. Variety of local product, definitely will be my go to place for unique jams and local items, but for produce will stick to Sprouts, price is just better for me. read more

I've been coming here for several years and usually it was a fine experience. Today however was not. My family and I went to get a bushel of roasted chilies and the way the older man treated us was anything but welcoming and friendly. He was helping someone when we came up to place a order so we waited. Once he was available he did everything he could to avoid me and my family so I walked up to him to start my order and he was short an rude and continued to give my husband dirty looks. Now the only difference between those folks he was helping before us and my husband is the color of their skin. My husband is hispanic. He made it very clear he does not like Hispanics with the way he treated my husband. The people he helped after us he didn't seem to have a issue with helping. They were white. it's unfortunate and disappointing that we still have to deal with this kind of treatment in today's world. read more

I was born and raised on a little farm in S.W. Iowa, so I know what corn and tomatoes are supposed to taste like. I'm getting too old to grow my own, so this year my wife found Lulu's.
