I've hired Lulu for their characters twice and I have yet to be disappointed. They really do try to go above and beyond to make your children happy. The first time was in September of 2015 at my daughters first birthday. We requested an Elmo character and also wanted some games for the kids to play. It was a hit! They provided face painting, pin the tail, freeze dance, etc. The children loved it. I recently requested their services again (September 2019). This time I asked for someone to do face painting, balloon animals and a mini bubble machine. The woman that Lulu sent was so bubbly and fun! She even showed up in a mermaid costume to match my daughters birthday theme! Anddd she sang songs from "The Little Mermaid". I appreciated that so much. I called Lulu sort of last minute and the weekend I needed her for was such a busy weekend for her but she squeezed me in and was SO accommodating. I used Lulu's Rental Company to host a slime party for my 6 year old niece. The package included face painting, a snow cone machine, and all essential materials and ingredients needed to make slime. The kids even got containers to take their slime home. The children had a blast!! Lulu was extremely professional, arriving over an hour before her scheduled time to set up. When it was all over, she cleaned up so well, it was like she was never even there! Lulu was patient and great with the children, and she maintained professionalism from the time I booked with her till the very end. The only area of constructive criticism I'm have for Lulu is for a party with over 20 children, having more than 1 assistant may be beneficial. The assistant that was with her did not have a strong presence about her, which a lot times is necessary for work with small children. Having more support in this area would help promote shorter lines for face painting and less wait time for the slime-making. I found myself helping Lulu with with the slime-making session because it truly would've been completely overwhelming for just her and the assistant, who may have been in training and was not as strong as a presence as Lulu. Overall though, I'm glad I booked her and would do it again. So many parents asked about her at the party because they were so impressed. I highly recommend her company. read more

Booked two clowns from them to entertain children for a party. Called me on day of the event and said there is only one clown available and that I can cancel if I want to but the price will have to be the same regardless. I told the lady that I will call her back and before I had a chance to call back, saw an email informing me that my credit card was refunded and the event cancelled. I tried calling them and they did not pick up the phone when they saw me calling. Text messages were ignored as well. Don't know what to do now as we have a bunch of children and no one to watch / entertain them. My children are very upset and now crying because they were so looking forward to this. I can't express how happy I am that I chose LuLu's company for my son's 4th Birthday party. Not only did the kids have fun but the adults did also. I still have parents calling me asking me how to get in contact with LuLu's company because they want to have them in their children's parties. It was amazing from start to finish. There were 3 people who showed up. The face painter, the young man working on the cotton candy machine, and the magician. All 3 of them came with great energy and all worked great with the children. The young lady named Stephanie did the face paintings which were amazing every kid at the party loved it. She truly is talented. The kids also loved the cotton candy. Then they brought out a bubble machine that the kids enjoyed running after. They also played a game with the kids and gave out prizes. But the main event was the magician named Miguel. Do not trust Lulu's for your event if the event is important to you in any way. The short version is, she canceled the rental 3 hours before my son's first birthday party and then blocked my phone number. If you want to give your money to someone with integrity, I suggest looking elsewhere. I booked the soft play for my son's first birthday party. We were also supposed to have a person making balloon animals and an hour of a bubble machine. She called to confirm one week in advance, then called again on the morning of the event around 8AM. We discussed that it had rained the night before and that the grass was wet and she had concerns about setting up on the wet grass. I told her we had a large driveway that we could set it up instead, she said that concrete was not a problem and that that would work. She then expressed concern about there being more rain during the day. I told her that according to the weather report I was looking at, it was not supposed to rain but that if needed we could set up the soft blocks and ball pit inside the house, but that we didn't have room inside for the bouncy house. She then said that she would be at our house at 9:30 AM. That was how she finished the conversation- I will see you at 9:30. At 9:30 AM I got an email saying that my rental was cancelled. I tried to call to find out what happened and only to learn that Lulu had blocked my phone number. I sent an email begging her to please not do this, that we could set up the soft play inside and that we could do the bubbles and the balloon animals, there was no reason that we couldn't still have something for my son's birthday party that was starting in hours. She sent an email saying "we already started the process for the refund I apologize." I offered to pay cash to do anything to save the party. She didn't answer my emails, or any of the calls from other phone numbers, since as I stated, she blocked my number. And by the way, it didn't rain all day. Not a single drop. It was sunny throughout the whole party. Not that sun is required for balloon animals... I know she will respond with excuses about the weather, but the truth is that it's irrelevant. All you need to know is that she canceled the rental 3 hours before the party and then blocked my phone number. If she thought that what she was doing was the right thing then she wouldn't have done it the way she did. Via email, when we had spoken on the phone 1.5 hours prior, followed by blocking my phone number. This is not a company that is worth your money. read more

I needed a face painter for a 2 year Old's party pretty quickly. I called Lulu and she gave me a good deal for 1-hour of face painting, balloon twisting, and Bubble machine. The young lady who did the service was great with the kids!! So patient. She did spider man, a lady bug, a unicorn, and other face paintings. Lulu and her staff work hand in hand, making sure the kids, no matter what age are interactive and having fun!!!!!! She is more than accommodating to any of your needs. Where can I begin. I called and spoke to Lulu personally. I informed her of my needs and received a quote. I was having over 25 kids for my daughters party and informed her of the location. Being that I was having a larger number then the package was for she told me she wouldn't charge me the travel fee. I also asked if I paid cash would I be charged tax and she said no. I revived a quote for $200 the price I was quoted. Two weeks before my daughters party she called to ask me what's the location of the party. Mind you it was stated on the contract. She said that it was far and she had to charge me the travel fee. I stated we had a verbal contract and my written contract had the price we agreed on, she got nasty on the phone and said its all stated on her website. This I must agree however I know what we spoke about and more important,y my contract reflected just that. We spoke the day after and she said she no longer wanted to do the party and she'd be refunding me my money. She left me stranded with two weeks to find entertainment for my party. Beware of Lulu and her additional add ons!!! What's the point of a contract if the prices go up!!! Lulu a clown, lives up to her character!!!! read more
