I just started liking olives so purchased a jar of olives stuffed with garlic and cheese. Wow! It was bursting with tons of flavors. So good! Ate the whole jar within three days all to myself. My son had picked out taco seasoning which had all natural ingredients none of the extra unwanted bad stuff. Was a bit pricey, but thought worth it due to all good ingredients. Coco rose is a long time established brand in the desert and they are most notably known for their clothing and accessories stores throughout the desert. However, last year they opened up their own home goods and decor shop which is amazing! Located in downtown La Quinta it's easy to find. It's not far from their coco rose clothing store, just a 30 second walk past, closer to the street. It's a decent sized home goods store and perfect for shopping while downtown. This store has larger home goods items but also has cute little accessories and gifts. There are a nice range of items here and the prices definitely vary from moderate to pricey, just depends what you're looking for. I've come in for small gifts such as napkins, cards, and trinkets all under $20. Most recently though I came and bought a $500 beautiful skull head art for my home. So like I said, there are ranges and something for everyone. The store is always well kept and the layout seems to go by different themes and styles which helps you while your shopping. The staff are always super nice and sweet here. Very attentive but also give you space to look around. I really appreciate the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help once you find something you need or have questions about. It's always great to support a local small business. A sweatshirt may be $200 bucks but it is likely the softest one you'll ever own. I loved how the clothes had such a luxe, soft touch to them. The other three stars are negative one for the manager negative one for not having inventory and -3 for not giving people who are not in management authority to do something so basic. They have women's wear, home goods, small gifts and child's clothing. As I mentioned above they usually carry some cute clothing with logos of the cities around these parts. I missed out on getting a La Quinta shirt last time I was here and regretted it because it was so cute. When I came in today they had Palm Springs shirts and logos which are a perfect gift or just fun / casual to wear around if you are a local. This store is extra special as they support local artists and vendors. I bought a lovely candle today in this shop and it's from My Mijo Co which is local to the desert. Due to them being a small boutique and supporting local the items they sell here aren't necessarily "cheap" but well worth it in my opinion and again, they make the perfect gift and it's so much more unique and fun to find items where then some big retailer. You definitely get what you pay for and I'm happy to keep supporting them. The staff that work in here are very nice and welcoming. Always good vibes and sweet people.
