Her demeanor was unfriendly from the start no greeting, no smile, and she looked me over with a slight frown. When I asked about the Arrata brand, she told me they no longer carry it, then directed me to the back area and said the items there were 50% off and that I could check the rack in case something was there. After spending about ten minutes searching, I found an item. At that point she changed her story and said the price on the tag was not 50% off and that it was full price. This was completely different from what she originally told me. My family and I have shopped here before, so this experience was disappointing and unprofessional. I came specifically to purchase a Mother's Day gift, and the lack of courtesy, clarity, and consistency made the visit unnecessarily frustrating. She blew it Lulu, we will never come back and we will pass the word along. Be nice to everyone afterall we keep the rent paid.

Ended up purchasing the cucumber melon flavor. With that I also bought some delicious sour cream thin crackers made from Italy. Quite different from what I usually buy at regular stores. I just started liking olives so purchased a jar of olives stuffed with garlic and cheese. Wow! It was bursting with tons of flavors. So good! Ate the whole jar within three days all to myself. My son had picked out taco seasoning which had all natural ingredients none of the extra unwanted bad stuff. Was a bit pricey, but thought worth it due to all good ingredients. Coco rose is a long time established brand in the desert and they are most notably known for their clothing and accessories stores throughout the desert. However, last year they opened up their own home goods and decor shop which is amazing! Located in downtown La Quinta it's easy to find. It's not far from their coco rose clothing store, just a 30 second walk past, closer to the street. It's a decent sized home goods store and perfect for shopping while downtown. This store has larger home goods items but also has cute little accessories and gifts. There are a nice range of items here and the prices definitely vary from moderate to pricey, just depends what you're looking for. I've come in for small gifts such as napkins, cards, and trinkets all under $20. Most recently though I came and bought a $500 beautiful skull head art for my home. So like I said, there are ranges and something for everyone. The store is always well kept and the layout seems to go by different themes and styles which helps you while your shopping. The staff are always super nice and sweet here. Very attentive but also give you space to look around.
