I just started liking olives so purchased a jar of olives stuffed with garlic and cheese. Wow! It was bursting with tons of flavors. So good! Ate the whole jar within three days all to myself. My son had picked out taco seasoning which had all natural ingredients none of the extra unwanted bad stuff. Was a bit pricey, but thought worth it due to all good ingredients. I love Coco Rose Home as it's my favorite coco rose store out of them all. Coco rose is a long time established brand in the desert and they are most notably known for their clothing and accessories stores throughout the desert. However, last year they opened up their own home goods and decor shop which is amazing! Located in downtown La Quinta it's easy to find. It's not far from their coco rose clothing store, just a 30 second walk past, closer to the street. It's a decent sized home goods store and perfect for shopping while downtown. This store has larger home goods items but also has cute little accessories and gifts. There are a nice range of items here and the prices definitely vary from moderate to pricey, just depends what you're looking for. I've come in for small gifts such as napkins, cards, and trinkets all under $20. Most recently though I came and bought a $500 beautiful skull head art for my home. So like I said, there are ranges and something for everyone. The store is always well kept and the layout seems to go by different themes and styles which helps you while your shopping. The staff are always super nice and sweet here. Very attentive but also give you space to look around. I really appreciate the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help once you find something you need or have questions about. It's always great to support a local small business. A sweatshirt may be $200 bucks but it is likely the softest one you'll ever own. I loved how the clothes had such a luxe, soft touch to them. There were some summery white clothes that were chic but I don't know how you could wear underwear underneath them that doesn't show, but that's not my concern. I ventured upstairs to the home goods department (I think she said) and found lots of mystical items and books that I was fascinated with. They only had one bottle on the shelf so I asked if I could take advantage of the buy one get one free pay for it now and when their next shipment came in, they could give me an IOU and I would come in and pick up the second bottle. They told me they could not do that. I thought that was absolutely hilarious. I asked him to ask his manager, but his manager walked up to the next register and just started taking people in line behind me. So I put the product back paid for the original product that I intended to get when I came in and any after sales were history. Now I know why my sister always goes to Napa. They would have at least given me a rain check Giving one star because the store was clean and one star because Jacob was nice and friendly. The other three stars are negative one for the manager negative one for not having inventory and -3 for not giving people who are not in management authority to do something so basic. Inconveniencing your customer is not the way to do it. I don't know if they're aware, but customers are what keep your doors open. Denying sales is asinine.
