Orders usually arrive very quickly. They offer really great deals with their TORRID cash program. It has made buying clothes that fit and are tailored for curvy women a fun experience again. A really chill environment to shop and not pushy at all by the sales people. She mentioned that the discrepancy could have been due to something she was looking up, but I pointed out that the cashier had just totaled someone else's purchases before me. This left me with the impression that the error wasn't an isolated incident, but perhaps part of a recurring issue. Overall, the experience at Torrid in Palm Desert Mall was disappointing. The unexpected overcharge and the indifferent attitude from both the cashier and the manager have left me questioning the store's attention to detail and customer service. I hope they address these issues soon, as no one should have to deal with such an inconvenience. I was told that I would receive a follow up call that is still pending.

Well, maybe it had more to do with my love of the color blue and daisies so the sign spoke to me, but call it what you will, I scored a spot out front and walked right in. Yep, this store speaks my language. Since it was the very first shop I stopped in, I gave it a thorough walk through and figured I'd hit up the other shops to see what was available, and come back for my must haves. I fell in love with a Stella McCartney look alike wallet and meant to purchase it, but by the end of the day I had to rush out to make my evening plans and never went back in. Later that night I went to their website, and although they sell some items online, the wallet wasn't one of them. I may call the shop next week and see if there is anyway they sell it to me over the oh one could mail it to me. Lesson learned. And this is exactly why my philosophy has always been, if you see something you love, don't hesitate, buy it! Especially when you are in a different state from where you live! The young lady working there was really sweet. She answered all of my questions and also let me browse at my leisure with no pressure. (I strongly encourage the owner to review the security footage to verify exactly what was said.) They falsely represented the original price of an item. Like most customers, I checked the pricing myself while shopping. It is a private business, and they have EVERY RIGHT to charge whatever prices they choose. What they do not have the right to do is deliberately mislead customers about original pricing. That level of dishonesty is disturbing and completely destroys trust.
