Tanya is amazing! So kind and cheerful. She does beautiful work on my hair - cuts, color, and she even did my hair for my wedding. Tanya did an up do that was gorgeous. She did all my bridesmaids too and everyone LOVED their hair. I did a wedding hair trial and since my hair is long and thick, the hair felt very heavy and gave me a headache so she let me come in again (free of charge) for a second trial... she made adjustments and it was much more comfortable! I called Lumari after my usual hair dresser wouldn't squeeze me in (call me crazy for hoping my stylist of years would help a sista out before being induced to have a baby.) When I called Lumari, Nina explained they were booked, but when I mentioned my situation she told me she would squeeze me in for a trim and color. Well, I had never ever heard of this salon so I had no idea what to expect but the decor was awesome and Nina was just the sweetest. Also, my cut and color were amazing! Since the reviews were outstanding I was convinced this was the place. If the reviews were not enough proof, the fact that they were booked for a month and a half made me even more confident this was the right choice. SO happy these talented ladies opened there own salon! I have gotten my hair done by both of them over the years and they are both amazing at their craft. I went this past Saturday to see Tanya and she transformed the "balayage gone bad" on my head back to gorgeous haircolor. I have already gotten so many compliments on it in the past 2 days. Nina is an all around amazing person. From her warm personality, to her knowledge and professionalism I cannot say enough. I met her at the nail salon I recently switched over to and it had to have been fate. I told her I loved her hair and wouldnt you know shes a hair dresser. I had been needing a cut and color for a while I hadn't touched my hair since february of this year. I went with a deep red color and cut off between 3 and 4 inches so I could layer my hair. Not only did Nina listen to me and explain herself every step of the way. She talked to me like a friend you wouldve thought we had known eachother prior.
