The reviews seem to be 5 star or 1 star. I didn't find this place to be either... it was clean and the workers were nice. The massage chairs were worn out and old; the polishes were as well. My pedicure left a lot to be desired. But for a $25 pedicure it was fine. I wouldn't rush back but I wouldn't refuse to go back either. read more

Not Wow'd. Sometimes yelp gets it wrong, and this is one of those times. The reviews for this place were outstanding, but my experience was underwhelming and subpar. Everyone was very nice and friendly, but it was not good. I had to wait along long time even after I had a pedicure appointment. My feet were soaking for 20-30 minutes before the pedicure started. Pedicure was okay. It was kind of sloppy, a lot of clear polish around the parameter of my nails. Nothing extra special like other reviews claimed. My toes chipped within days-faster than I've ever experienced. Maybe you have to be a WOW nails insider to get the good treatment.The place was really hopping and the reviews are so good. First time here last week; won't be going back. Had appointments for a group and we were still there for over 3 hours. They messed up on one of our nails and basically jimmy rigged them to fix it. Everyone's paint was chipped or peeled off some fingers the next day. Male worker(unsure of his name) was super rude. Not recommended. read more

I have recently moved to NYC, but anytime I am in town - you better believe I will be at WOW! There is an atmosphere at the salon that makes you feel so comfortable and valued as a customer. All of the workers are sisters, and it shocks me how well they work together! So glad Mary took the risk of leaving her past salon to open this gem because she will be in business for many years to come! I went there if February for a Pedicure. I have gone there many times and have been pleased however it wasn't the cleanest place I've ever gone. Pedicure was fine. 5 days later I ended up in the hospital for three days with cellulitis. Seems that my toe was nicked and bleeding ever so slightly but it was enough for the infection which involved my leg from my toes to my knee. I couldn't bend my toes they were so swollen. I had antibiotics in an IV and went home after 3 days with an RX for another week. It still bothering me. Doctor recommended that I never have another pedicure. I agree. read more

I tried WOW nails because of the great reviews, unfortunately I was not impressed! I got a gel manicure on Friday and by the next day I could see the beds of my nails, unacceptable!! I went back and spoke to them and they said my nails grew too fast and unless they were chipped they wouldn't do anything for me...on to another place for me!!! read more

I came in here on a whim last minute on a Thursday afternoon for a pedicure. To my surprise it was pretty busy for the middle of the day! The music is really nice and calming and the place is very clean. I decided on the spa pedicure which was 40$. The technician I had was really nice and took her time. I am 9 months pregnant and really wanted to relax and it was perfect. I also have issues with ingrown toenails and she was so sweet and I swear she took 10 minutes just making sure she got everything right for me. All of the staff was really friendly and it seemed like the type of place that they don't forget a friendly face or people's names for that matter. I'm so sad I didn't come here during my whole pregnancy. I will definitely be back though with my husband! read more

I always look to see if the salon is good at cleaning the pedicure tubs after use and they do. The place is spotless. The girls who work there are so nice. I came in for a pedicure and it was soo good the place was decently busy and they still took their time with me, gave me a really long nice foot/calf massage etc. Really clean, and really big compared to most nail salons. I started going to WOW shortly after it opened. I have had a great experience each and every time. My nails always come out beautiful and the polish lasts. Their pedicures are the best I have had in the area. The only tough thing is that they are not open on Sundays. Between work and kids activities, sometimes that is just the only time I can go. read more
