I asked if I could upgrade my manicure to a deluxe which they don't do but the guy offered sugar scrub to my service for an additional $10. My manicurist did an excellent job but the nail polish used didn't cure/ set nicely. I don't know why. Nonetheless, she took her time and insured I was well taken care of. A couple cons: I don't like all of the talking. From customers it's fine but amongst the staff need to be minimal. For me, I am a person that likes the silence so I can watch the tv or read my book etc. It isn't a moment of "girl time" for me. Aht aht cut that out. Another con is the fact I paid using cash and was still charged the tax. Often times, nail salons will remove the tax and offer to take a bigger tip. Not DQ Nails - so I wasn't a fan of that. One more thing - I don't appreciate or like when establishments don't offer a service but find a way to accommodate the client and then charge an additional price. For example, adding a scrub to my manicure shouldn't have been an additional $10.00 knowing that the manicure itself is $20.00. That's $30.00 for a "deluxe" manicure. Not sure - I'm don't believe I'd return here unless I didn't have any other options.
