My back was facing the entrance sad I didn't feel comfortable with the open door setting where the dentist has my mouth open and people can pass by and look in. the room. I think they need to re-evaluate that. The operating room is closed which is a bright side but I think all rooms should at least have a curtain. The prices were pretty standard. The survey asked me if I had full X Rays in the last 5 years. I answered yes, however they still did full X Rays cause they can't make money off my visit without performing this procedure. They could have requested the X Rays from my previous dentists, however they want the bill me for something I don't need. After the X Rays I saw Dr Dike , for the general exam. She immediately tried to sell me on a 4 quadrant deep cleaning. She did not care about my dental history, my cancer screening ( cause I did not purchase the cancer screening upsell) or any of my other concerns. When I questioned her about the deep cleaning she could not come up with a coherent answer. Then she left and sent in the office manager to explain why I needed a $1400 service that they were giving me the deal of a lifetime at $1000. I found Dr. Dike on http://thehoustonblackpages.com and desired to do business with her because she was a black business. However I would encourage you to stay as far away from her business as possible. The dental space is a free for all and the result is we have providers that just do what they want.
