She responded promptly to my inquiry for a weekend appointment and walked me through her process so that I knew exactly what to do and what to expect for every step. I appreciate her thoroughness, especially since it reduces any elements of surprise and makes the process really relaxing. Mary also recommends a patch test before doing certain services and it took only a few minutes to come in for one the day before my appointment. I noticed that she sanitized every single item she touched before she put it away while chatting with me, which shows that sanitary practices are truly second nature to her. For my lash lift service the next day I was able to totally relax to quiet music (a true gift since I'm busy playing with an infant and working all day) while she expertly placed each of my lashes to fill my natural gaps and give me a natural "wow" look. If you prefer a more dramatic look, just let her know and she can easily adjust! I plan to get a more dramatic lift when I have a special occasion coming up but really like the natural curl for a minimal-make up day-to-day look. I also appreciated that she explained what services wouldn't do. In the past, people have tried to tell me getting a tint or lift will make my lashes look thicker or more volumized but that isn't true if you have naturally thin, already-dark lashes. I HAD Been a loyal customer to this business for A few years. Mind you my services it was strictly purchase of product. Everything was fine the first few years. Until Covid 19 came and turned this business greedy. I continue to purchase my usual facial products from this individual and I normally would pay via credit card and pick up my product. But when COVID-19 came it changed how business was done. I continue to purchase my product through this business and the business owner at that time was not in operation due to Covid. So in order for me to get my product The owner decided to do a delivery. She came to deliver my product and I chose to give her a sample of my business products. Included in the samples I had included the payment for the products I requested from her. My payment for the first time was cash. Everything was fine. Until a month and a half a later, The owner sent me a message saying that she never received payment for the product that I purchased. I have told her I had given her cash along with the products that I had given to her in the sample bag. She claimed that I never paid her. Which was completely false. Why she waited a month and a half later to try to re-collect payment was absolutely unprofessional. And then when I told her I paid her she said I did not because she did not document it in her system. Just because you didn't document it doesn't mean that it was not paid. And I even received a receipt via text message. She continued to ask for payment multiple times after I had already told her I paid her. At this point I was completely frustrated and overwhelmed due to having to take care of family in the hospital. She was not understanding and continued to communicate to me that she wanted her payment. At this point this is where I had to cut the cord of doing business with unprofessional people. I know Covid has taken a toll on many small and large businesses however it is not fair to try to gain additional Money from loyal customers because you are suffering. I have never had any facial services or a skin care services with this individual again I've only purchased facial products. But I would be highly be-aware of doing business with this individual in any manner. Especially dealing with money. She told me things about my skin that I had no idea about which is going to change my skin care routine in a dramatic way. Upon arriving she greeted me and had me fill out some paper and then brought me into her studio that was comfortably air conditioned and well designed with a clean appearance. She was so knowledgable about skin issues and answered all my questions and explained everything she would be doing so I would be comfortable. MaryStella is awesome! I made an appointment to have microdermabrasion done - strictly based on the reasoning that I've had it done once before (2 years ago, by an amateur). MaryStella had me fill out a survey to go over the history of my skin and evaluate how my skin typically reacts in certain situations. She reviewed each page and asked questions to get further insight. She was VERY thorough, which made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. After cleansing my skin and examining it closely, she decided that I was not a candidate for microdermabrasion and she said I would most benefit from a hydro-facial with added enzymes. I felt confident in her decision and didn't feel like she was trying to get money out of me, as what she recommended was $50 cheaper than what I had made the appointment for. The facial was about 90 minutes long and I enjoyed it all! 24 hours later, my skin is feeling and looking great! Can't wait to make another appointment. read more

Her personality makes you feel so welcome, comfortable and like you have known her forever! After my first treatment, she actually sent me a text asking how my skin was doing!
