I have been getting prenatal acupuncture with Rachel and couldn't recommend her more highly! She is absolutely amazing. She is kind, gentle and provides a relaxing, calm environment. I look forward to continuing to work with her through my postpartum journey as well read more

It was very hard finding this place. However the receptionist understood this and took her time to help me over the phone to find the parking lot. I got a prenatal massage... and it was ok. I'm not too picky with my massages, so if you are I'm not sure you'll enjoy it. There was a lot of conversation and... it did really "hit the spot". At first I thought it was because I'm pregnant that the masseuse didn't want to massage more firmly but I got another ones elsewhere that was more satisfying. My massage was as fully body as it can get while your pregnant BUT... the timing was a bit off- One side definitely got more attention and the hands, arms, legs and head didn't get much action. The faculties was nice. But I ended up going elsewhere for the rest of my prenatal massages, which I guess answer the questions of If i enjoyed the place. On a side note: I got incredibly sick after this massage, almost immediately. I hadn't gone out in the last two week prior so this would be the only place I could've caught something. read more

Shady business practices, ignorant white fragility exhibited by practitioner...I was an incredibly loyal client of Luna Wellness for several years but unfortunately, after the last couple of incidents, I will absolutely never return nor will I ever recommend this company to any of my friends, colleagues or BIPOC counterparts in the community...I recently had to cancel a chiropractic appointment that I had scheduled due to the fact that I woke up early in the morning feeling incredibly ill. While I would have loved to come in and receive treatment by Dr. Megan (who truly is exceptional), I did not want to be selfish by risking the health of both practitioners and clients (mainly pregnant women) alike. Thus, I cancelled at 5 AM, almost 12 hours prior to my appointment that evening. Out of respect I notified the clinic first thing when I knew I was unwell. The receptionist told me that that was totally okay, and that was that - please note that not only have I never cancelled, and I have *always* been punctual and respectful of providers' time...I was disgusted to see that that same evening, I was hit with a major fee for canceling. Upon confronting the receptionist, she stated that it was the policy and that they even did me a favor by applying a PoC discount to the charge - so performative and in poor taste. I also find it incredibly shady that I was not notified first thing in the morning that I would be charged when I had told her that I was canceling. I guarantee that they were hoping to get away with it without me noticing. By the way, if I was a repeat offender or had cancelled for any other reason than being violently ill, I of course would have respected the policy and understood it...but ONE cancel due to being ILL as a LOYAL client? I have given so much money to this company throughout the years, and they have also reaped the benefits of thousands of dollars from my insurance company due to a car accident that I had recently had.... this was the first incident after benefits were withheld and truly goes to show how Luna treats their clients once they know they have little to gain from them financially. This incident was incredibly disheartening and hurtful as a loyal customer of several years who has sent many people their way and has also protected their organization after a prior incident...A white massage therapist, Jeanine, only weeks prior had made ignorant comments to me during a massage regarding women in domestically abusive relationships, stating that she has difficulty empathizing with them as they choose to remain in those circumstances. I literally could not believe the ignorant and abhorrent statements being made. She then proceeded to make disgusting statements by making generalizations about the Middle East (where I am from)... When I confronted her about these harmful comments during such a tragic time, she not only denied stating them (so gaslighting- I know what I heard; it was so upsetting I ran out that day), she legitimately dug her heels in by acting like a fragile white woman who knows more than an Arab herself. I like to think that we all make mistakes and it's all about how we come back from them - however, Luna never made the effort to call me after the charge and make things right with a loyal customer of many years, nor did Luna ever hold that practitioner accountable as the promised "meeting" that was to be had never occurred. Truly upsetting but grateful to know who these people truly are ... out of respect for the previous owners, David & Becky, please note that none of these incidents occurred under their management. read more

I went to Luna for prenatal visits and I'm still going for postnatal care as well. I've never felt so relaxed or more cared for by a therapist or care provider. Sabrina & Alyssa are gentle acupuncturists and empathic practitioners; throughout my struggles such as SI joint pain or clogged milk ducts, they have given helpful advice for home care. read more

I got a postpartum massage with Jamie and it was a wonderful experience! It felt like the best thing I've done to support my healing postpartum! read more

They worked me in for a 30 minute prenatal prenatal massage the day before I had to leave back to Texas. I wanted more but was glad they could accommodate me. The massage was perfect. Comfy room, comfy pregnancy pillow so I could lay on my stomach, very soft sheets and soothing music and the table was warmed. I didn't want to leave. The pressure was just perfect and I would highly recommend this place. It's a little pricy, but seems most things are in Portland. I wish all places were this good! Such a wonderful experience. Really helped with extra stress I've had. read more

Amazing staff here. Always helpful and never messed up my schedules. I saw Dr. David Higginson for many years at different locations and followed him here. So glad he joined this office since they are really on top of their game. Dr. David is great at listening to your needs and adjusting to meet your needs. My sad news is I had to move away so am no longer going here but would be if I was still in Portland. read more

Beautiful atmosphere, vibe, and peaceful spa. Amazing body work that was just the relaxing self-care I needed. Got a cute goodie bag, found a cute plant and an great face mask. All the staff was wonderful. Highly recommend! read more

Luna Wellness Spa - Chiropractors Near Me - Portland, Oregon

Came here after searching EVERYWHERE for a prenatal massage. They did not disappoint! My massage therapist was Kelly and was so comforting and adaptive to my needs. They offer so many options for add ons on top of comfort level. They have awesome memberships that I would love to take advantage of once baby comes. My only wish is that they would take insurance for chiropractic and acupuncture but I totally understand their motives. The actual location is cute and relaxing! Excited to come back for another massage! read more

I have had two excellent interactions with Luna Wellness. The first was when I scheduled a prenatal massage for 3 days after my due date. I was eager to get in with a special by the end of October and they helped me find a day (and did the whole thing over text!) and then when I had to cancel because the baby came on time they were totally cool. I made an appointment recently for a massage with child care. I was nervous about leaving my 4 month old with a stranger but it was comforting to know she was right down the hall, in very capable hands, and they could easily come get me if need be. It really helped me to be able to relax, unlike the other time I got a massage (somewhere else) where I was constantly fearful I would miss a call/text from my husband asking me to come home right away. On top of all that, the massage was excellent. I told the MT that I was mostly looking for relaxation since my aches and pains were under control at the moment and she really delivered. She got areas of my body that haven't been attended to...ever? And all in a 60 minute session. The music was calming, the space was comfortable, and it's conveniently located. Totally worth the price. I'll be back! Tiny downside: the location with childcare is on the second floor and there's no elevator, so strollers don't work but they warn you of this on their site. I was able to baby wear my daughter up the one flight of stairs. Keep this in mind if it might be a barrier for you, but call if you have questions because I'm pretty sure they're willing to help people out within reason. read more

Only 24 hours ago, I was lucky enough to have an Amazing facial with Rebecca. As someone who's had their fair share of facials over the years, I can honestly say Rebecca's rates high on my list! She had a gentle touch and also gave a fantastic massage on my arms, hands and neck- more massage than I've ever received during a facial! She listened to my skins needs and used the yummiest smelling products made by Eminence, a wonderful organic skincare line, that left my skin looking and smelling Amazing! 24 hours later and my face is still glowing. Thanks Rebecca! read more

Luna just gets it. Have to reschedule your appointment because your husband took the carseat base out of your car and you can't figure out how to put it back in? No problem. 5 minutes late because you have a 2 month old who has to eat every single time it's time to leave the house? Non-issue. These are people that understand what it's like to be on the schedule of a little person. Luna has helped my little guy with his nursing issues...Dr. Becky for craniosacral and Sabrina for acupuncture. Staff is always pleasant. They don't bill insurance, but are more than happy to send you a super bill so you can bill them yourself. Other perks? Lactation tea in the lobby and free childcare during your appointment! read more

I had a facial with Rebecca a few weeks ago and it was amazing! She was calming and attentive to what I was looking for. My skin was glowing for days afterwards. Not to mention I added on eyelash tint and she did an incredible job! I am definitely booking again soon. read more

I found Luna Wellness late into my fourth pregnancy, and like many others have probably said I wish I had found them sooner! But I'm so thankful to have had them available during my third trimester and now postpartum. All of their practitioners are fantastic. I've seen them regularly for chiropractic care, community acupuncture, and massage. They've also helped my colicky baby turn a corner through gentle chiropractic treatment. Everyone that works there is so kind and helpful and I look forward to my visits so much. I had my fastest, easiest labor this time around and I think I really benefitted from their expert prenatal chiropractic care and acupuncture. This is an excellent practice for women attempting VBACs! I wish they accepted insurance, but they are super helpful in providing everything I need to file with mine. But they make up for it with excellent (FREE!) childcare - I trust Gaia with all four of my kids, even my newborn, and they genuinely enjoy "going to Gaia's," as they call it. When you fold childcare into their out-of-pocket prices, it's so worth it. I drive all the way from SW Portland to come here, and will continue to do so because they are so fantastic (and seriously - free childcare!). Highly recommend everything Luna has to offer! read more

Full disclosure, I haven't been a patient at Luna Wellness. I've only interacted with them via email. But I spoke with Avery and Dr. Becky over email inquiring about an appointment best fit for my tailbone break. They both were very informative and sincere and put up with my millions of emails with tons of questions. I would recommend them to anyone that fit into their scope of the practice and if I ever need anything they can help with, they'll be the first ones I call! read more

Thank you Monica! Thank you Luna! I just had the best quick massage with someone I've never worked with before. Monica was efficient, strong, and definitely knew her way around back muscles. I went in with a lot of soreness after pulling something in my back related to baby care, and walked out a short time later feeling significantly renewed. She knows her stuff. read more

I love Luna wellness! Back in 2019 I had a monthly massage membership (which sadly doesn't exist anymore) and it helped me through my first pregnancy and postpartum. Now I am pregnant with my second baby and have started coming back for prenatal massages. Kelly is incredible! The massage is always so relaxing with the perfect pressure for my aches and pains. I've tried other spas but always come back to Luna! I'm hoping they'll bring back the monthly massage membership again one day :) read more

I was first introduced to Luna Wellness at 38 weeks pregnant with my first baby for Chiropractic care and have been a loyal client ever since. I had a membership package for each of my pregnancies rotating between chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage. I think at this point I've seen basically everyone there and have never had a less than stellar experience. I would recommend Luna wellness and ESPECIALLY their memberships to any mama pre OR post baby. Their team is talented, knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional! Thanks Luna, I don't know what I'd do without you! read more

Had a great first visit with Dr. Becky (chiropractor) and Janna (massage). I'm 7 months pregnant and they really took great care of me and answered a lot of questions. I'm looking forward to my next appointment in a couple weeks. Front desk staff was really friendly as well. They answered a ton of questions I had about acupuncture as well. Definitely excited to go back and make this my regular spot. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Jessi for prenatal chiropractic care, and it's been terrific. Through gentle adjustments and a few exercises, my pain is gone. She listens well, keeps me safe and supported, and has great "bedside" manner. The clinic itself is also great. I am always offered water or tea, there's always parking available, it's calm and serene. The treatment rooms are air conditioned, comfortable, and welcoming. I highly recommend Luna! read more

During my recent pregnancy, my massage therapist suggested I check into chiropractic care with someone that is gentle and that is accustomed to dealing with mamas-to-be. After doing some digging online, I found Luna Chiropractic and Dr. Becky. She's got a gentle, yet very effective approach to adjustments and is very helpful in making recommendations to ensure her patients are taken care of and taking the best care of themselves they can. She made a recommendation for a pillow for me that has radically improved my quality of sleep. She just made a recommendation for a massage therapist that I hope will be just as life altering as my new pillow! It's a small, but very welcoming space and Michelle at the front counter is always kind and pleasant. I highly recommend Luna and Dr. Becky for pregnant or post pregnancy chiropractic care. read more

Really great staff and amazing practitioners. I first hear of them by googling "acupuncture nearby" after a car accident - I stayed with them even after my car accident insurance ran out and signed up for their community acupuncture membership and couldn't be happier. They will offer you the most support with whatever you are going through - all of the acupuncturists, massage therapists as well as chiropractors are great and everyone leaves with a huge smile on their face. Their tea selection is the best of any clinic I've been to in the area, and they always welcome you to a tea before or after your appointment. They also offer a variety of products for sale to support your whole body health like a couple of supplements, vegan chocolate bars, skin care products, and muscle creams. They are a holistic paradise for anyone seeking more natural and alternative care. They can support your healing process, with all their different therapies alike. Very understanding and empathic, genuinely good people. Check them out, you will be glad you did . PS for a bonus check out their artwork:) it's all amazingly curated ! :) read more

A friend referred me to Luna Chiropractic, and I am so thankful that she did! I went to see Dr Jessica Brown after an auto accident. I'm incredibly grateful for the immediate relief in my headache, but also feel that there is a plan in place for my healing and recovery. I may have to amend my review, as my 4 & 1/2 year old daughter will be coming in also. The office is very kid friendly and has a positive atmosphere. What a jewel. read more

I refer my patients to Dr. Becky at Luna Chiropractic for pelvic adjustments to help them prepare their bodies for labor. Optimal fetal positioning and an open, aligned pelvis are extremely important in my opinion. She is certified in Webster Technique which is specific to pelvic alignment in pregnancy. Becky is the owner and chiropractor and very trustworthy. I like her work because she has a lot of tools and her clients and doesn't just stick with one rigid style. read more

Dr Becky is a gentle and skilled chiropractor, I always feel valued and well taken care of by her and all the staff.

I was having a lot of back/hip pain when I was pregnant. My OB recommended Dr Becky. I had no idea that pregnancy chiropractic was even a thing! But Dr Becky fixed my back and I had no more pain!! After a month of limping, I couldn't believe what a relief it was and how much better I felt. I continued to see her during and after pregnancy, and she really has helped my back feel so much better. Plus she is super nice and friendly. Highly recommended! read more

I've been coming here for chiropractic with Dr Mandy Marziaz, and community acupuncture, and my son just had his first visit with the chiropractor Dr David Higginson. All our experiences, from the friendly, calming atmosphere, to the free child care, to the actual services provided, have been amazing. I feel great and am not breaking the bank by coming here every other week, and my autistic son has taken to the place almost immediately (and has had lots of positive energy ever since his first chiro appointment!). I highly recommend this place! read more

I really loved Dr Becky's style. I am always a little hesitant to get adjusted, but I felt at ease and taken care of with her. Her assessment was thorough and detailed. The clinic is also lovely, with a very welcoming, professional, yet laid back vibe. My nine-year old son is very timid and scared about going to any kind of healthcare provider. He often has major panic attacks at the very mention of going to a doctor, dentist or naturopath. He is a very "heady" kid who worries about all of the potential things that could happen, or that the doctor might find. This has made it very difficult to take him for check-ups and we have to be very thoughtful about when and who we schedule visits with. The only doctor that my son has actually ASKED to see is Dr. Becky. She is so gentle and kind with him on the table that he leaves telling me how good it felt to see her. He loves it when she does cranial work for him and I notice a huge change in his anxiety after a visit to her. I would highly recommend Dr. Becky for children, she is safe, gentle and loving. The receptionist, Michele, is also amazing and always goes out of her way to talk to my children and make them feel really welcome and loved. read more

This is my new chiropractic home. I worked with Jessica Brown and I have never had a better experience with chiropractic care. I started working with Dr. Becky when I was pregnant and continue to see her now, two years later. Besides being talented and friendly, she's efficient.
