We were looking for something better than fast casual, but also not a sit down place that would take 20 minutes to make our food. Los Potros hit that fine line and I was extremely satisfied. Their menu wasn't extremely long and they had multiple options for select food preferences. Service was incredible with very friendly staff who were very attentive. Plus you get complimentary Chips and Salsa which isn't always offered in every Mexican Restaurant. I ended up getting a Molcajete which was beyond incredible. The Molcajete was packed with Steak, Chicken, Shrimp and Fajita Veggies. The portion size was HUGE. Enough for 2-3 meals for myself and I eat decently large meals. Whether you're traveling and passing through or you live near this area, Los Potros is worth the stop. You'll find great value for some incredible food and you won't leave disappointed.

The young lady who took our order was very friendly and the cook stepped out and thanked people for coming in when he had time. My wife had the rib dinner and the ribs were fall off the bone tender. The beans were unique and tasty and the okra fried perfectly. I had the most eclectic dish I've ever ordered: corn bread topped with homemade Mac and cheese, pulled pork, bbq sauce. They didn't ask about apples in the kids meal and just assumed 2 fries and the boys toy for my girls. Since the dining room is closed you're forced to order through the drive thru. Ordered a small fry, drink and 10 piece nugget and instead of ringing it up as a nugget meal, paid for it all separately. Used a gift card for part of it not knowing exactly how much was on it and the kid at the register didn't tell us how much remaining balance there was after the gift card was applied.
