The parking situation is surprisingly easy for a downtown area, there were so many parking spots back behind the building. The vibe here is very peaceful and pleasant. There are tons of well-maintained live plants, plenty of colorful tapestries, a beachy blue and sandy brown color scheme, and a ton of fairy lights and fake plants decorating the walls. It is exactly how my house looks, and I love it. The food is amazing. We opted for a smash burger with bacon, a cheesesteak, a turkey bacon pesto sub, and a basket of fries to share. Everything was so ridiculously good. The bacon was thick and so crisp, which is exactly how I like it and it added so much texture to everything. The subs are thiccc and so good. They do not skimp on the meat here. The burger was awesome and definitely add bacon if you order it. The fries are perfect! They are slightly thicker than shoestring, and so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The basket was the perfect size to split between three hungry adults. The service was great, everyone was friendly, the food came out really fast, and refills were brought pretty promptly. I will DEFINITELY be back again and again, this place is awesome.

But I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt since it's a small business. I was bummed out for them not selling any Smoothies (Not in the Chester Location but only in the Glen Allen as far as I know) but I wasn't disappointed with what I got. The Boathouse has discarded the troublesome system and gone back with the personal touch with actual personal interaction with the servers. The food is consistently top notch, the view is wonderful. We have been back multiple times. The Boathouse is always at the top of our list. I highly recommend The Boathouse at City Point.
